This is our first home and we are very satisfied with the home buying process along with the quality of the home and all of the options included with "everything's included" package. There were a few minor warranty issues that Lennar took responsibility for and fixed in a timely manner. Our customer service rep was the best and made all the difference. I would highly recommend Lennar if you are looking to buy a new build.

Lennar sales and finance people were great to work with and buying a Lennar home was easy! Any time I have had an issue with my new house their warranty people have been kind and responsive. However, Lennar compromised on the quality of some of the materials. The quality of the interior paint is terrible! It picks up marks from simply touching it and cannot be cleaned without exposing the driwall. The carpet is also of very low quality picking up dirt and staining with normal use. It has gone from a light gray to a dingy tan with casual use. The exterior foundation is covered with a brittle sealant foam that breaks off with accidental contact. We were happy to finally be in our home after the exhausting process. There were still issues that took some time to resolve. Lennar is a good company but some of the companies they have to use are sub par. The people who installed the washer and dryer were completely incompetent. Hooked us the waterlines backwards and failed to vent the dryer plus they banged up the wall bringing them in.

Covid ruined my home buying experience

I love my home! My husband and I love the layout and enjoy the modern features. The 'everything included' offering is a definite game-changer. I have beautiful kitchen appliances that Lennar included with the home. Lennar, however, misses it in the area of communication and responsiveness. The tile work in our home needed to be sealed. Hubby and I didn't find this out until the final walk-through at closing. At that point we would have to wait weeks before the seal job could be done. Needless to stay, the seal job was an added expense we hadn't considered. The home was supposed to include a wi-fi booster and screen for our patio door. Lennar stated these items were on back order due to supply issues. We closed on our home in August 2021. It's now late December 2021 and we haven't heard a word about the booster or screen door. My husband and I decided to finance with Lennar's in-house mortgage company. The process was honestly stress-free! I still can't believe how easy it was to finance this house. Lennar had a responsible and capable onsite building project manager and it's staff were helpful and friendly through-out the process. This company does a great job and keeps its word.

Quality checks poor...many issues questioning the quality of work...very concerning.

Not a pleasant experience with Sales and quality in construction and addressing the issue not good either.

Please DO NOT buy a Lennar home. They come with nothing but headaches and the customer service team acts like they are doing you a favor by fixing things under warranty that should not have been an issue within the first two months of ownership. ie plumbing failures, water leaks, water damage, flooring needing to be replaced, blocked conduit resulting in a delay of internet serviceability, heater not working, and landscaping irrigation problems to name a few. Lennar uses the cheapest contractors to build these homes as fast as they can and the quality really suffers because of that. I bought a new home to avoid some of the issues I thought I might have with an existing home and instead I ended with nothing but problems. No accountability from Lennar whatsoever. They often failed to respond to service requests and needed to be reminded in order to schedule contractors for repair. I asked to speak with management to be compensated one way or another and they failed to call back multiple times after telling me they would speak to their bosses about my request. Customer service just responds with general cliches and does not sincerely care about their customers. I would NEVER recommend Lennar homes to anyone and whenever someone asks about Lennar I will always let them know how terrible the Lennar experience has been, especially as a first time home buyer. ... Most of the stuff was corrected immediately but other things took a lot longer. Arrangements made for someone to come out and were no shows,not even a call.

It was one excuse after another as to why it was delayed three months. Every delay was blamed on covid, but it sat for over a month with nobody working on it.

Rat infestation, from Lennar building behind us. Lennar knew this would happen, so they put it in your contract that they are not responsible for rodents. It has cost me over $6,000 to get rid of the rats.

Overall positive. Home lacked some features included in previous models.

Is Ok everything was fast and nice experience

Lennar builds a poor quality home.

Sales and local construction manager did a great job. The process of getting warranty claims resolved is terrible unless you’re talking to someone at the corporate office or a regional President. The preferred lender will lie and threaten you in an attempt to gain your business. Overall a pass if it were pass/fail (but not by much).

Unfortunately, I feel as though my house was rushed. There has been many issues I had to put tickets in for. Most of the issues have got fixed, others I am still waiting on. Lately, the customer service representative has been unresponsive.

Do not hesitate to purchase and build with Lennar! Lennar has simplified the process and each of their team are superb to work with. Lennar, you are lucky to have Amy, David, and Brandon represent you. The entire homebuying experience from my first video call to the closing exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

They are good to communicate and they where very helpful

Lennar is building too many homes too fast and utterly lacking in quality control. All the homeowners in our neighborhood are having to chase after them for multiple items with the homes. Warranty response can be very uneven. Four months into the home and I’m still waiting for a replacement cabinet doors owed us from prior to close. Paint on floors, dings and walls, crappy paint job in places, their installers put the wrong cabinets in the wrong bathrooms ( one is bigger one is smaller and they had them swapped Impacting use of the toilet in one of them ). Lennar’s‘s move-in ready campaign, things like blinds on the windows are one nice point but their connected home package is left to you to install and figure out. We didn’t even get our full package and had to chase after Lennar for a few months now to get all the pieces that were promised. One hand doesn’t know what the other hand is doing. World not buy Lennar again ... More
