We saved and decided to purchase a home from lennars. When we were at the inspections they built the wrong house and they didnt even try to resolve it.

Massive construction issues

I closed on my $750k home back in February. This experience has been nothing but a nightmare. I have major construction issues...including mold! How do you have mold in a brand new build?! I’m still living out of boxes and can’t even unpack or begin to enjoy my new home. Has been the worst experience ever!

My concerns are not being addressed correctly

The issues with my front and back yard grass are not being taken seriously. I was told anything wrong pertaining to the grass would be replaced, now I’m being told I have to wait an entire year before it can be replaced.

Between the lack in quality of build, to being forced into a solar agreement I never wanted and repairs not be done I would never recommend lennar ever.

Poor response and pressured into closing

Very poor and shoddy work. They forgot to add gas line in patio and did that the day of closing in a haphazard manner and not the way it was in the agreed plan. The dug the backyard and were not willing to reimburse anything. The fans started making noise the week after and they are not willing to fix or replace them. Their whole customer service is a charade and they try not to fix anything. When I refuse to sign off on a ticket I raised for Fan issue, they closed the ticket on their end saying the issue is fixed without any explanation. My experience with Lennar was terrible. The workmanship and attention to detail was extremely poor and I will never buy another Lennar home or recommend Lennar homes to anyone!

The quality of the work is terrible. The finish is horrible. Walking on the carpet is like waking on the nails. I have heard a lot about Lennar but I think now this company prefer quantity over quality. I will never buy or refer anyone to get a Lennar home.

No detail to attention or considerations on how things are built - poor quality overall, lots of mistakes and defects. If you are asking for trouble and stress for life, then work with Lennar

Poor customer service

I have completed the purchase of my home in the month of February. And every since March of 2019 I have been writing emails to leonarr about the tiles on my floor. No one has gotten back with me about resolving my issue very poor customer service on lennars behalf. Once you have completed the sale of your home if you have any issues they will not correct it they will not even get back in contact with you to try to resolve the issue.

Rushed new build

If Lennar had spent just 1 or 2 more weeks rather than rush to close the home before the end of their fiscal quarter and month, the home would have been in a better quality. Same issue with everybody in the neighborhood. Lennar definitely preyed on the goodwill and naivete of first time home buyers and dangled the 1 year "bumper to bumper" warranty to get their inventory sold. First time home buyers beware! I would not recommend a Lennar/Village Builder new build to anyone. Thankfully, the issues are fixed one by one and the home is in great shape now.

Very unsatisfied with the quality of the house in general. Found many imperfections inside on out of the home, which we had the opportunity to addressed through Lennard's service request website. However, many of the imperfections have not been fixed two months after of being in the home and still no answer as when our request to fix these items will happened. I feel I am being ignored because I have made the request more than once. did not expect so many imperfections for being a new home and when asked Lennard to fix stuff they would only patch and covered the imperfections. I bought a model home from Lennar.

They gave me windows that are damaged and refusing to fix it, garage floor uneven , sheetrocks with holes in it, horrible workmanship, their refusal to fix anything. It is appalling. Do not buy from Lennar.
