Buying a home with Lennar was a nightmare

My experience with Lennar was the worst I could have ever imagined. The Concierge person that I initially worked with never explained a process of a priority list which made us go into a contract on a house we were not 100% satisfied with, this house is on $3M+ price, corporate office was NO help, nobody cared about our concerns. I wrote emails to corporate hoping for some answers because the Concierge rep lied to us and corporate didn't care. Lennar doesn't care about its clients or their experience. Do Not buy from Lennar.

I really dont recommend buying home with Lennar. They are not honest. They fixed a faulty appliance and never helped to replace.

I would not recommend Lennar’s financing to prospective buyers. My experience with the loan process was frustrating, with numerous issues that could have been avoided. The required Letters of Explanation (LOEs) felt intrusive and unnecessary—other lenders I was working with didn’t require similar documentation. The only reason I ended up using Lennar was because I signed a disclosure agreeing not to use another lender within 30 days of closing. The whole experience except our sales person has been AWFUL. And it’s still awful, we have so many issues still not fixed. Our closing documents were lost for 5 days and almost made us homeless after closing was pushed back 5-6 times. We never got an actual move in clean and now I cannot get my floors clean and there’s residue all over that I cannot get off windows, counters, etc. we have damage to our siding from when they installed the sod which is only half the yard btw they wrecked into our house, still not repaired. If i could go back in time and tell myself to not do it i would!!!! Rude incompetent people. No communication. I will never EVER suggest Lennar to ANYONE not even my worst enemy. Please save yourself the money, headache, and gray hairs and buy from literally any other builder. You would think they would try and make the first time i’m buying a home pleasant but NOPE. Seriously DO NOT BUY LENNAR.

The amount paid of the house is too much as compared to quality of materials used in the house. False information provided that Lennar don't install blinds for windows and gutter line. I have checked other houses build in the same area with lennar builder and they all have blinds and gutter line. Builder don't response to the email after they sale you the house. Lots of space was wasted in building the house like big bathroom and no store closed provided

Where to start. We showed up with keys in hand to a house with trash outside, paint on almost every exterior window, side paneling was bowed, flooding, nails all over roof, which all of this was called out on our inspection and walk through 2 and 4 weeks prior. We were lied to on multiple occasions. We had to change our move in date as almost every single side panel had to be replaced, then the entire interior had to be repainted which in turn pushed our movers and painters back. This is the third house I have bought in my life and by far the worst homebuying experience I have ever had. They pushed back my closing twice and tried to push it back a third time, despite very little work being left to complete when I looked at the house 2 months prior. They did not fix all of the problems that were identified during my independent inspection, despite saying that they would and that they did. By far the most frustrating experience of a lifetime. All my financial records I submitted somehow disappeared. Buying process was confusing. No loyalty to those that were on the magical list. I regret purchasing a home built by Lennar. From the start, the quality of work has been subpar—sloppy finishes, poorly installed fixtures, and noticeable shortcuts in construction. PRETTY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH MY NEW HOME WITH LENNAR, After fully trusting the company for the build quality, I've unfortunately encountered several issues that I believe should not be present in a brand new home. While minor issues can be expected, I have discovered significant problems, including water leaks and siding bumps. From day 1 with the initial sales contract and the tons of disclosures that were not made to the crazy surprises at closing, there isn’t enough space to describe all the communication and customer service failures by sales, construction and customer service/warranty//walk throughs. There was poor follow through on issues, the defensive attitudes by really everyone, untruthful statements, and extra hidden cost were unimaginable and never experienced by us in any of the 7 previous new homes we have purchased in our 40 years in Las Vegas.

Just to be honest , I won’t recommend Lennar homes to no body My bad experience was really bad . after 2 months moved in , grass never was set it on , I called & called to warranty department and not answer I was told that 10 days after moved you will have your grass set ,but that is not true . funny is all the houses sold out has grass already and I am still waiting on it..
