So many things that was supposed to be repaired but wasn’t. The lake is filthy with garbage. Concerned what health hazards it might posed to us. It Hasn’t been cleaned in the 4 months we live here. The workers broke the apron on my drive way, from driving over it due to all the work trucks blocking the roads, and I was told it’s not warranted because it’s not half inch wide. No listens or hear. We feel so violated and disrespected. Sad that We bought into this development.

I am very disatisfied with my first purchase of a Lennar home

The quality of the work is not acceptable for a new home. Baseboards are not cut and connected squarely. Door trim was cut too short leaving an ugly space between the bottom of the door trim and the flooring. In one case the entire door was installed too high, so now there is a 2 inch space under the door. Windows are crooked so that our blinds have to be installed crooked in the other direction to compensate. Bathroom tile installed crooked. Bottom master shower tile installed with sharp edges are felt on feet no matter where one stands. The paver walkway to our front door is installed ...

Communication is key for me and my wife esp while we were deployed overseas trying to purchase our home. We never got that even if it was just to tell us you guys were working it for us. I guess we just expected a lot more with our first time buying a house

The sales people were great. The workers were good. The quality of the materials was poor and very cheap. Examples are faucets looked the same ones in the Home Depot washrooms; the bathroom showers were flimsy and vibrated when you opened and closed the doors.

I believe that the actual foreman, Luke, whom I dealt with was not the initial lead for my home. He (and Kelly in the sales office) was a pleasure to work with and they were both very attentive with any matter I brought to their attention. Once I moved in, I noticed the quality of the build was not the “Lennar” quality I’ve come to expect from the homes my friends built with Lennar in Texas. Some of the issues I encountered are how loose my carpet is upstairs that I almost trip because of it, gaping 15 inch X 15 inch hole hidden behind my refrigerator that I only saw after we had a bad ...

Very basic cheap construction. Things that should be included are upgrades or not offered. Carelessness on several items in the home. No padding under carpet and can fell rocks where the carpet was laid down. Changes made during building of the home that buyer not made aware of. However I do like the community that I live in.

Construction manager made this experience poor at best

To begin with, we picked the house and lot so not a spec home. We were told we had time to add options so the day after signing we asked to add a laundry sink but was told we were too late for this request. Same thing for laundry cabinets! I blame this on the on-site agent giving wrong info. Apparently once you sign, you can’t make any changes so know what you want beforehand. Our house had a roof and almost to drywall before we had a single meeting with construction manager. I made them pause until we had a predrywall inspection done. It was given to the construction manager right afterwards ...

Lennar uses 100s of contractors, so there is no accountability for work that will require follow-up once you actually own your home. The walls are thin and provide no sound proofing, this includes the thin aluminum windows that seep air/moisture. They use matte paint throughout, even in the kitchen and bathrooms. "Upgraded Cabinets" means they are white in color- they are made of soft wood that will show even slight dings from regular use. The bathtubs are made of plastic and carpet will look worn and tired after less than 6m, even if you do not have pets or children. However, I live in a ...

Cheap materials and sloppy work done by all contracted vendors. Lots of rework and projects to be done by Lennar after move in.we had to each take so much time off of work well into two months to accommodate for things that should have been done. Not exactly turn key experience we had hoped for. Might as well have flipped an older home, saved money and had more space between homes. For the money paid, one would expect better quality work.

Great Sales Staff/Disappointing Warranty Service

We had a wonderful experience with the sales staff and this review is not for our rating of them. We have had a very poor experience with getting home warranty work taken care of and have found the quality of the workmanship to be poor. We feel like some of the trades just slapped the house together and do not take any pride in their work. The tile and cabinet trades have been no-shows 4 times now. Extremely irritating as our time is valuable and it’s seems like after they have our money, we just aren’t important.

Window sills are crooked, doors had to be replaced, WiFi is slow, front door lock has to have new batteries every week or it will not work and you may come home and find your house unlocked, ring doorbell doesn’t work most of the time, and the list could go on.

The process of buying a house in itself is scary. So you think that buying a newly built home would be better. Wrong. Lennar used the cheapest materials, multiple issues ready. And later we get blamed for the issues so they dont have to fix it. If i could go back I would’ve approached this whole situation very differently, been more assertive with Lennar, and not have accepted things to be “fixed after move in”. What a disappointment. A few months in and already have a list of repairs that I have to pay for. Including changing the new floor which was done terribly but the company thinks they ...

Seems value for money but actually built quality is bad. Finishing looks nice while delivery, but quality is bad. Fed up with flooring issues all over, hardwood floor or carpet flooring squeaks a lot. Does not feel solid. May be they use cheaper vendors and also bad pre-delivery inspection on Lennar part. Did not expect from this largest builder in the country.

When it compares to other homes in the area, you get more square footage for less with Lennar, but the quality is much poorer. There are obvious design flaws throughout the home (we were told they were drawn into the plan that way so there is nothing they can do), and the sub-contractors for the most part took several short cuts. Occasionally, the Customer Care team responds to Warranty items, but not all the time. And when they do, they set a date and time for a sub to come repair the issue, and then the sub never shows up. They don't even give a courtesy call to let you know. The sales ...

We are now almost 5 months after our close and still have multiple issues which need to be addressed. We have tried to have a door replaced for months but either the door is delivered damaged, the hardware is not correct, the painter comes with the wrong color, etc. We have had the entire electric box replaced, the slider was a problem before and after the closing. The air conditioner was wired incorrectly and we have had a multitude of other issues. It has been exhausting and ruined our experience of buying a new home.
