This is my first home but I will avoid Lennar in the future. The craftsmanship and finishing is of poor quality and downright lazy. Crooked cabinets, terrible paint and caulking, etc.

Enjoyed the home buying process and all that Lennar offers with their incentives.

Lennar and Lennar Mortgage made the home buying process seamlessly easy. You hear horror stories of the home buying process, my wife and I experience was great!!!

Great experience, home is more than expected

Prior to loan approval sales force was very aggressive. After sale survey is completed multiple times. Alley at garages is far too small. No walking path front to back of property nor to commons open space.

We were placed on the "VIP" list for our home in the volatile Colorado home buying market in November 2020. 48 hours before going under contract on an agreed price, we were told that our signing date was going to be pushed back a few months ( Due to covid of course ) and there would be a 20K plus price increase. We were told by a Lennar employee that the reason for the increase was because Lennar was underselling their homes so they increased prices to generate profits (this employee also stated this to our realtor ). We still continued our purchase despite the increase because if we hadn't, we would have had to start the whole home buying process again and Lennar knew this. On the joyous day when we were able to move into our dream home, we were presented keys to our home that didn't fit our lock. After trying a variety of keys we were given a universal "construction" key to come and go from our new home. When I called two days later to see when Lennar was going to fix this issue, I was told that I needed to call a locksmith. As I write this my solar panels aren't operational but my neighbors who moved in weeks after us has there's working, Lennar failed to install the gas line to our furnace , and we have had a variety of issues that Lennar deflects responsibility elsewhere. At the end of the day, our home is awesome! We haven't moved in 30 years. I never thought I would ever have a home built for our family. Its a beautiful investment. I simply wish our homebuying experience wasn't tarnished with so many unfortunate issues that Lennar doesn't really care about. But why should they, they have their money. I have addressed my concerns with several employees of Lennar, including the president of the Colorado area. I was told by a "customer service manager" regarding the furnace not having a gas line installed that the line was probably stolen. That during construction bandits raid new home construction taking hoses. I told this gentleman that the LENNAR PLUMBER apologized to me stating that it had never been installed and how it passed inspection was baffling. Still the customer service manager stuck to the theft explanation. I did my homework before choosing a Lennar home. I was excited. I thought we went with the best choice. I now wonder what KB, Taylor Morrison, Oakwood, and D.R. Horton's customer service looks like. In conclusion, in all fairness, I would like to think our circumstances are the exception to the norm. With all of the unique issues we've encountered, Lennar hasn't offered the curtesy to make up for their shortcomings. For me it's not about compensation. Its the principle of Lennar living up to their own hype. We LOVE our home and our new community. Our Lennar "everything included" home came with SO much that wasn't listed in the fine print! ... Regarding responsiveness to issues and concerns they were always prompt with satisfactory outcomes. Most of the issues were minor. The only major issue was they initially changed the closing date to a later one than originally promised. But my complaint resulted in an extra effort to complete construction and honor the original closing date for which we were very grateful.

Our experience hasn’t been exceptional; however it has been a learning experience.

Easy home buying, the home come with nice upgrades. Home was built and we moved in on the projected date.

Everything went smooth and I am not complaining, I am happy but if you have a choice to build yourself which is better. If not lennar is good builder to choose out there thanks lennar.

5 months and still have a few same issues since I moved

Aside from some paving issues on the street, the community is great and I love the home.

The floor plan is what caught my attention. However, for the amount invested on this new beautiful home, I was a little disappointed that the house didn't and wasn't equipped with a door bell, a water spicket and lightning in the backyard.

Reasonable, but expect delays in the response time on warranty repairs

We find all of the personnel to be straight forward and service oriented. COVID has made it hard to get "quality subs" many lack depth of experience to do their trade.

Outstanding team (Jen, Jenni, Rich and team), outstanding builders, outstanding product! I love my new Lennar home! Exceptional workmanship and attention to detail!

We really enjoyed working with Joe. He was the real face of Lennar for us. Always took the time to explain things and respond to calls and texts in a reasonable amount of time. I would work with Joe again and refer him to friends and family who are looking for a home!
