Disorganized, Under trained, and Dishonest

The whole experience was a struggle from the start. The house was started and then sat for 2 months while nothing was done. I was given bogus reasons, like the lumber was stolen. Only to confirm later that wasn't the case. A manager had order the wrong lumber, instead of fixing it try to cover it up. Which led to further miscommunication and further delays. Two windows were installed completely broken. I pointed this out months in advance, the week of closing it was still unrepaired. Poor quality for $800k home.

None of the property have flat land nothing was don’t from a landscaping perspective. All of our properties have bumps and uneven land making it extremely difficult or impossible to use a tractor or lawnmower to cut grass. Extremely disappointing. I will be going door to door talking with my neighbors and petition for this to be corrected by Lennar.

Nobody during our buying experience really knew what was going on and usually ignored our questions.

It’s obvious that the sales teams don’t care about you as a person. It appears the sale is their main goal. We heard phrases when asking questions about the home that didn’t seem right “oh I thought you wanted to buy a home. We have many people interested.” Or “yes I’ll take care of that” after the 3rd email and still needing to send more emails and a phone call just to find out how you’re getting your move in key. The construction manager was Lennar’s savings grace. He was a pleasure to work with.

Horrible experience by my brand new home with Lennar I do not recommend this builder I have the following issues and have never been resolved: 1. Significant deviation between what was delivered and the model I toured. 2. Unable to get cold water because they failed to dig the water piping. 3. I received old appliances probably because the nicer ones were not available anymore. 4. Lennar financing was the worst I’ve experienced as a customer and a professional realtor.

Lennar financing doesn’t know how to treat its customers. Several of my neighbors had the same experience of the company not paying attention to detail. Several times I had to send multiple copies off financial records, contacts not having updated information, closing work tickets without fixing issues, and having to continually show job validation records to name just a few. They treated me and the other veterans like we were 2nd class citizens. Buyer beware!!!

Poor Workmanship

Poor workmanship and cheap materials. Lack of attention to detail and a lot of corner cutting. We do not recommend using the in-house mortgage company, Lennar Mortgage / Eagle Mortgage. And pay attention during your walk through. Take your time. We have paint splattered on the floors, paint is missing in corners of ceilings, on windowsills, etc. and the paint is so cheap it literally flakes off the ceiling and walls. My buyer experience was something to be desired. I have purchased several homes from Lennar without any significant problems. They were not prepared to provide service from financing, closing and move in. If you. Had a question regarding anything, there was either no response or you had to go through numerous people. The did not know the correct post office to establish mail delivery. We were very disappointed. No one was in charge of this new community. This was not a good experience.

This is my second Lennar house, our experience with our 1st house in CO was outstanding, 2nd in TX is not good, very poor work Manship, QC extremely poor, baseboard is, in some places 1/4" off floor, just filled with a massive amount of caulk looks terrible, millwork is all dented, door frames cut way to short & filled in where frame meets door with a massive amount of caulk, door hinges painted white, paint already coming off

It’s kind of a long story but they basically stole money from me. They have been completely dishonest. Lied and kept giving me the run around. I am currently in the process of filing an official complaint with the Texas real estate commission. This is my second lennar home. My first home I purchased in Jarrell Texas was a very positive experience. The San Antonio location needs a serious overhaul. Don't finance with Lennar

Lennar mortgage was one of the worst experiences ever. My family was lied to and told so much incorrect information. We were told we had to pay 60k in taxes that we actually didn't even have to pay. We ended up using NFM lending and had a much better experience.

Refusal to obey federal law

Sales person violated federal by refusing handicap accommodations. Larry Seiple was tremendous to work with during mortgage process. He is sole reason I did move forward with charges against Lennar. The construction managers have been responsive to issues with construction defects.Lennar does not use high quality materials. The HOA is not at all responsive

Closing nightmare.

We had our closing March 10. We drove from Colorado to Texas into a winter vortex with 2 labradors, 2 cats, two cars and a trailer. Got stranded in the blizzard. Our trailer got stuck at a hotel with no rooms. So we slept in the car freezing all night till we could get towed in the morning. We get to Frisco Tx on March 9 stay in a hotel. (Remember we have to get 2 cats and two dogs (one’s a tripod) in the hotels for the past few nights driving. Always have to take an elevator.) Very bad experience. Dish washer didn’t work properly, door lock didn’t work and ring either. Nothing can be solved by Lennar so I have to waste my time trying to call to the individual warranty. I moved to the community without mailbox. One month picking up the mail at usps. Now they are giving the mailbox key. But I have to drive to doral to pick it up. Everything is very inconvenient
