I wouldn’t buy a Lennar home again. I have been trying nearly two months to get warranty items repaired. One being my front door lock. I have to make a 10 mile round trip to pick up my mail as my mail box station has been broken five plus months. And the list goes on.

Lennar responded:
Thank you Jackie, for your review. We understand that you were not happy with this experience and we want to apologize for any frustration you encountered

The sales person was awesome to deal with through the whole process and is the only person that helped me resolved major construction issues. The Lennar Construction Rep was not knowledgeable and lacked insight and dedication to resolve issues identified by me or a 3rd party inspector. Now I’m dealing with major and minor construction warranty issues with no follow up by a new Lennar Warranty rep. Seems like it’s a common thing.

Lennar responded:
Good afternoon Mr. Virgil, Thank you for posting this review. If there are still any unresolved issues or if we can be of any help to you in the future, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at LennarCares@Lennar.com. We will gladly follow up with you. Lennar Customer Care.

Lennar initially tried to sell the house 15k over price of the property advertised on THEIR website and did not honor that price. Furthermore, when the appraisal came back 15k under sale price they did not notify me and show me the appraisal even though that was part of the contract, I had to find out for myself a day before closing. I have been in the house for 6 weeks and still have warranty items open including a window that was not installed correctly with an inch gap at the top allowing water to come in. That being said, the construction manager is great; very friendly and very ...

Home quality is very disappointing. The walls and door were not smoothened. It is very sharp, adults and kids get scratch and hurt when hitting the walls, doors and door holders. Flooring was not fully settled and humpy bumpy

Lennar representative explained everything as common and normal where poor quality of workmanship and bad materials were pointed. His name is Kurt. For example when I pointed a standing water he, said it is normal for drainage. There was a gap in the main door and frame and Kurt said he will block with the bubble gum he was chewing. This is not acceptable and he is very rude and disrespected to us.

I'll say the sales member for Lennar was probably the best employee Lennar has. He was always returning calls and finding solutions for us if we had an issue. On the other hand, the builder was not. The builder/CM was always giving some excuse and or promising something and not coming through. We have since closing, realized how much he missed in the building process as well as didn't do something he said he would before close. Have heard rumors that he's just average in terms of CM and was not the best one on this development. I can certainly attest to that at this point.

Not built to the quality that they showcase in the model homes. The contractors that build for Lennar have no sense of ownership to maintain a quality product. So much money is wasted by senseless mistakes and timing of the building process.

I was promised so much more than I ended up getting. It took a year past the date I signed to get my place. It is called a luxury community, but it is far from that the grass is dead. The trees are dead. they promised a pool by summer. It has also got pushed out for another year. Other communities around us have surpassed our build up even with later start dates. They lack attention to detail in the house and on the exterior of the house. The outlets are crooked. The baseboards are crooked. The windows have caulking gunk built up that you have to remove yourself with a sharp tool grout is ...

They were extremely friendly and promised the world until the documents were signed and we were under contract. We were lied to about what was available in the area. The person who we had for the lending portion was evasive and rude when we asked questions. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. They ruined the new buying experience and we had to dig deep to be happy after all the struggles. Luckily for us, our neighbors seem to be friendly so there is our silver lining.

My husband and I had been sharing our concerns to the building team and even the Lennar Realtor . Closing date several items were still not complete and the house was not even power washed. the upstairs porch was dirty. Until now they kept saying they are coming to address this issues and had not been here yet. We closed in April

The house was to be completed around the estimated date of Feb 23rd. The sales office representative told us that Lennar we would receive $200 a day for the amount of days that went over a certain date until official closing. The amount of days were 5 total and we should here received $1,000. That commitment was not honored. We sent the information as requested and we received nothing.

Many defects found from day 1 with majority are related to flooring, finishing and garage concrete slope issues which are not identified and given an option to blue tape to us at the time of orientation. Customer service has mentioned that some of them are supposed to be identified before closing and are handled as per the warranty terms. I wish the construction quality is better.

Cheap quick builds with cheap slow fixes to any issues with the home. Grout is falling apart day 1 in the bathroom. Salesman Josh in Bastrop was helpful up until he made his sale. He became unresponsive and dismissive once he made his commission. We’ve been living in on brushy creek drive since March and we still have no mailboxes. Lennar is trash. Customer service is trash. I regret buying this home.

Although i know that with any home there is no such thing as perfect, however, certain attentions to detail are clearly missing here. It definitely feels like quantity over quality. There were many things on our punch list that has still not been fixed. During our walkthroughs things were said they would be done personally by the construction manager that day, and they are still not fixed. We were told our house would be locked up at night before we were able to move in but after we had closed, and the doors were left unlocked. Again told by the construction manager. Right now we are in a ...

Workmanship and customer service is awful. All they care about is getting the sale and not willing to make sure the customer doesn't regret dealing with them. Which I do! Buyer's Beware! If you are already locked into a sale, go thru the walk thru with a fine tooth comb, even if it takes all day. DO NOT CLOSE UNTIL YOU ARE CONFIDENT ALL ISSUES HAVE BEEN RESOLVED. Especially, crappy workmanship like trim work, painting, flooring, and insist they get all the paint splatter off the floors. If you find any of these things after closing you are crap out of luck getting them to fix it or ...

Floorboards don’t meet edge to edge. Carpets have staples popping out and not secure to the floors, drywall and paint left on and in between floor boards, paint on every baseboard of every entryway, shower tiles uneven, no grout sealant in showers, overuse and build-up of caulk, crown is cracked from top to bottom, line work from wall to crown to ceiling is uneven and spotty -ranging from not meeting to edge to crossing over onto the crown, paint on tile edges, center island ought to have sensibly been measured to a single top rather than molding two pieces together at what apparently was the ...
