Throughout the whole process, they were threats of taking the house. They were just extortion of making us pay more money just because they felt like it forcing us to use their lender even though their lender would never respond to me sometimes at all or I will take four or five days. The sales rep was very short and disrespectful. All around a horrible customer service. They acted as if we did not matter and if something didn’t work out, they could just sell it to somebody else. They didn’t want to help us work through any issues. I just wanted to try to take the house from us.

The Lennar sales rep that we had gave off "manager's son" vibes. He was never at work so we never met him and every time we called he was doing some not work related activity during work hours. He got extremely frustrated with us when we took a few extra hours to review the one-sided sales contract and then took as long as he please because he was "driving horses down to Georgia." We used all Lamar’s preferred everything. Lender, lawyer, inspector, etc. we had to work with lennars sales manager Justin as our sales rep Phill was terrible at following thru and following up. They really led on the feeling that they were doing us a favor, we weren’t treated as a valuable customer. Phill was very inconsistent in things he’d say. Information on website about available homes and prices of homes is not accurate. There is wide variations. Home selling agents don't seem to have the right info, and try to simply set aside any complaints/issues. Selling agent hung up on me when I raised an issue that I had. Inflexible schedules when final walk throughs are being scheduled.

Lennar communicated poorly during the building process. Lennar changed the flooring, did not install a window paid for in the contract. Lennar changed the ship lap around the fireplace and installed a cheaper material without informing me of the change.

Lennar changed the ship lap around the fireplace and installed a cheaper material without informing me of the change.Lennar installed dead sod on the yard and has refused to correct the problem. My entire yard is dead. I have no lawn and Lennar refuses to install what I paid for in my contract. I would never build with Lennar again!

Our “realtor” never responded to our inquiries timely and pushed us to use Lennar lending after we communicated at least 10 times were going with Navy Fed. We gave the lender and chance and he was extremely disrespectful to my wife after she said she was not going with Lennar. Build quality is good and the building manager was good at fixing the issues we provided. Everyone seemed money hungry and if any decision we made would make someone lose money they would get obviously irritable. Would not recommend Lennar after that experience.

Work with Gavin and Rocky was above satisfactory. Was required to sell my house to keep this one off the market, but would not give me a closing date. We were able to move just before being homeless but we got only one day notice. The experience was nerve racking and frustrating. VERY UNACCEPTABLE.

The only “positive” thing about this experience was that our home was done on time as promised by Lennar however there were A LOT of imperfections once we actually got in the house. Also not to mention that the home being done on time is the bare minimum from their end. We had our walk through scheduled the week before closing like it’s always done with any new construction. Our sales agent lied about mortgage rate multiple times and then lied she never stated she had given us such a quote. I, the presence of my real estate agent, had repeated the quote several times back to her prior to shaking hands on the deal. She even had called a supervisor regarding our offer in front of us. She then stated it had been approved. When we had the contract a few hours later we were shocked to find the rate a point higher. The house was supposed to be ready in September or early October but wasn’t finished until late December. The home is well made but the granite had a huge stain/black mark and we needed to get it replaced on our own, they said it was natural, even tho everyone that saw it said it was ugly.Also, I was told they would “make it happen” to get us a refrigerator and when it came time the agent said no. The overall experience is not what I expected. There were and still are many issues with our home. We closed 11/30 and still have not fully moved in due to outstanding issues such as air conditioner not running properly. Windows have issues and can’t close and can’t lock some of them. Lots of small issues that have been taken care of but just the overall time and effort it took to get the problems fixed was exhausting. I've talked with my new neighbors and we all agree that Lennar has the best home designs. Lennar floorplans and communities work really well for modern family life. They are in great locations with clever designs, efficient use of space, and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, that's the only positive part of the experience. The sales and post sales experience is terrible suffering from a complete lack of communication, constant errors (or lies?), and a lack of follow through. Horrible experience with a few employees that did their job well. Initial walk through of the home showed build quality and finishing touches were mediocre with cracked shower fiberglass to deep scratched windows to paint drops on the kitchen floor to drawers scratched. Kristine took care of it professionally and quickly. We have lived in our house for a month and have multiple large cracks in our sheet rock where the ceiling meets the wall. The home is beautiful but the whole experience of buying was horrible

I have buy a few new home in my life. This been the worse a sloppy job was done on the finishing touch this home wasn’t moving ready. On my 1st call to repair stuff I put in 7 request. Forget outside work that a mother call. Really disappointed

The builder was delayed over 7-months. Lennar did not communicate well with their customers, costing their customer tens of thousands of additional dollars. We found out that we were getting our house keys with less than 24 hours notice.

I requested for appraisal two weeks before closing they never disclosed until the day before closing. Lennar disclosed low appraisal just the day before closing and asked me to pay the difference or to walk out leaving the pre advance paid. Very bad experience overall

Lennar Title was the worst I’ve worked with and I almost backed out of the purchase because of them, Lennar didn’t pay real estate commission to my realtor so they got free labor but after I purchased, now they offer commission because the market has tanked, they take more than 2-3 weeks to respond to simple post purchase fixes needed. We went under contract six months prior before the home was finished. Im married. We made the offer under my name, but for investment purposes, we wanted to have my wife be on the house instead of myself. This is a simple process, it just needs to be approved by the builder.
