Cheap crappy quailty, very overpriced and cookie cutter bland junk, not much more to say than, RUN and don't buy these homes, buy an already built home from 2019 or before. Not good workmanship after 2020, everythign is mass produced and no one pays attention to the little details. Very expensive bla homes.

It’s unfortunate to be writing this review. I can’t believe all the horror stories we heard prior to buying are actually true. We received some very last minute bad surprises on closing day. Thankfully our agent fought for us and got us some relief so we could still close. The quality of everything installed was also extremely poor. Without going too much into details, I will not recommend this company.

Craftsmanship and quality is junk! Put zero effort into building a home that we paid a lot of money for! One of the worst craftsmanship that I have ever encountered. If I could return the home I would! It will be the first and last time I will ever purchase a Lennar home. I would never recommend Lennar homes to friends or family!

On the other hand, My overall experience from Lennar is a “0”. I purchased a home in December 2025. Their system was mediocre, inefficient, confusing, and the home overpriced for what I paid for it. They’ll make it look like the price is right, but it is not. They will get their money in many other ways during the process before closing on your home. Many unknown numbers included in the closing documents for charges that should not have been there, or other charges for things that otherwise could have been waved or eliminated altogether. Their financing lender services were horrible, unprofessional, untrusted and, in my case, there were too many different people involved making the system incredibly unworthy. Once the closing date takes place, it is another story of more confusion, the running around having them fix anything. Their so called “Virtual” meeting where you must use your personal phone to show them what you are complaining about fulfils their willingness to have the issue fixed. It almost feels like you must prove to them that your complaint about fixing anything in your home must be proven before being approved, instead of honoring the warranty that comes with the house. Having to pay for two different HOA’s for your house is beyond me and extremely confusing and unfriendly. The constant harassment, threats and bullying approach from HOA staff about home infraction violations is disturbing and illegal. Their HOA system is not centralized, making their system navigation a big inconvenience, frustrating and certainly unfriendly to use. Amenities are far from the house, and not big enough for all the people living within the community. Their vision is more of quantity, instead of quality homes as my house after only a few weeks of purchase, water leaked inside of one of the room’s walls making a big mess creating a long week of many different types of inconvenience. Overall, it was a bad experience, but we need to buy properties. That’s why we got that one.

Zero quality in the build. Zero craftsmanship Multiple problems not fixed. Lennar considers everything cosmetic or within “variance” Do not buy as they will not fix items and disniss your warranty issues. .

Lennar is the worst home builder. Their sales representatives are bad and homes do not have any latest amenities.

The paint used for the defects found on the walls or doors did not match. We have not even moved in the house and there is a crack in the living area already.

From the moment we sign the sells agreement to the now, dealing with the entire sales staff, the loan officer staff, the title company, and now the warranty staff, they have lied to us, did everything to deceive us, provide low bid ghetto products. Lennar are criminals they should all be in jail.

The floor is not good, quality of the appliances is bad

The guy that showed us the house was a complete joke, Christopher. He didn't absolutely nothing for us. There was nothing but lies after lies after lies just to close on the house. It literally was the worst experience of my life

we did not close as promised, and then it was a nightmare. Once we moved in the quality of the home was subpar. The paint on the walls are coming off. The sidewalk was not finished with the concrete and there was a big hole in the front yard that did not have a cover on it from the manhole. There was a manhole cover in the backyard that was full of debris and trash. I have called several times to get this taken care of and was told that I needed to turn it over to warranty And then that takes forever for them to respond. I would not recommend these homes to anyone we’re stuck with it for now and we will live with not to mention an HOA is nothing but a pain ... More

The entire experience was trash from start to finish. Poor communication, wasted time, mixed messages, and zero follow through. I had to chase answers, repeat myself, and deal with unnecessary confusion that should never happen in a basic transaction. The only good part of this experience was Ana. She was helpful, responsive, and actually did her job. Without Ana, this would have been a complete failure. Everyone else dropped the ball. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experience

The New Home Consultant had difficulty inputting information on day one. Document sent had incorrect purchase price initially. Was later informed that my carpeting color was no longer available and needed to be changed. Again, a delay in updating the color in the system due to a “glitch”. Several weeks later was informed that the exterior brick color was no longer available, and was told what my replacement would be. Was shown a few bricks on a board. No house available for me to look at in the new brick color. I formally requested the termination of my contract on 09/24. On 10/17, I wasstill waiting for the documents to sign to cancel the contact. Follow up email sent on 10/10 At which time I was told that there is an approval process and that they will send to me when ready. I do not understand the lengthy process. I wanted to cancel the contract and Lennar would keep my earnest money. This should have been simple. Lennar Title and Lennar Mortgage were not notified of my request to terminate the contract as they continue to send and request documents - so no communication between the different branches of Lennar. I would suggest updates to your system to make it more user friendly, not asking the buyer to select colors at the time of purchase since they seem to be discontinued often, better communication between the different branches of Lennar, and quicker response time to customer requests. The beginning of my home-buying experience with Lennar was pleasant, but once closing dates were introduced, everything went downhill. Lennar repeatedly changed the closing date, which caused serious issues with my current landlord and created unnecessary stress. Communication throughout the process was extremely unprofessional. Calls and emails often went unanswered, and there was little accountability. The final inspection felt rushed, and I am now stuck with several issues that should never have passed inspection in a brand-new home, including a bent sink, improperly sealed countertops, and an uneven wall. These concerns were dismissed as “human error,” which is unacceptable. It was also very unprofessional that the post office informed us they had never dealt with a situation like this before. Because the builder lost the new mailbox keys, all new residents were forced to pay for mailbox locks to be rekeyed. This caused a delay in receiving mail and added unexpected costs for homeowners. The final cleaning of the home was a complete joke. Nothing was properly cleaned. Other new residents stated they saw the cleaning crew enter homes with only a broom and bucket, stay no more than 15 minutes, and then leave. I complained about this, but no one seemed to care. No apology was offered, and no additional cleaning crew was sent. The attitude was essentially, “oh well, it’s your problem now.” Additionally, the front door hinge pin was missing. I went to the showing office, where I was promised it would be left at the house — that never happened. When I later checked the model home, it was also missing a hinge pin. At that point, it felt like a joke and just another item added to the growing “human error” list. This experience has left me wondering what other issues may exist that I haven’t discovered yet. I regret not backing out of the purchase, but I trusted Lennar to honor their word and promises, which did not happen. I also regret not reading other negative reviews beforehand. I had to backout before closing due to medical emergency costing lots of money and requiring me to keep emergency funds. I understand it was a contract but 6000$ earnest money is a big amount that I had to lose. Lennar sold that home to someone else fairly quickly. Lennar gave me option to use that earnest money within 6 months but not sure if I will be buying home from lennar again.

Had the worst experience ever with the sales agent. Left multiple messages with several different offices to have a manager call me no one ever called me back. I would not recommend Lennar homes to anyone. I have never given any builder or any business a bad review this is the first time.

I would expect decent home, but no, just go and work with someone else.

My experience was and still is a nightmare. I was looking at Townhomes because of a change in my life circumstances. I felt I could manage a Townhome on my own. I qualified for financing through Lennar Mortgage. A salesman by the name of Zach showed me a couple of models. I wanted to proceed with a purchase offer but was concerned my house would not sell because of today’s market. I was told by Zach that if my single family house didn’t sell I would not qualify for financing and would get my $5000.00 deposit back. Zach said I had nothing to worry about because with my income I would never qualify for the two mortgages. My house was on the market for about 7 months. My budget became tight now that I’m on my own so I tried to refinance my existing mortgage with another lender to lower my payments. I was approved to refinance my existing house but the lender was not going to disperse any funds on a house that was actively for sale on the market. My house did not sell. I had to transfer my deposit on the Townhome with Lennar twice because the purchase contract expired every 90 days. I was out of town when my purchase contract expired for the third time and was asked to re sign all the paperwork a third time. Again, I was out of town traveling by car. Zach told me if I didn’t re sign the paperwork his “manager” was going to cancel my contract. I could not complete the documents in the timely manner Zach insisted I complete them. So my contract was cancelled by Lennar. Zach / Lennar will not return my deposit of $5000.00. That’s quite a bit of money to lose because my existing home did not sell and I could not meet the deadline to sign a purchase contract for a third time, while I was out of town. I would never encourage anyone to sign with Lennar unless you want to be financially violated. Now Zach will not return my calls. Pathetic and shameful business arrangements. Zach was the salesman who insisted I put the $5,000.00 down so that Lennar Mortgage would know I was a “serious buyer”. Again pathetic and shameful business practices. ... More

Better communication and lies.

I purchased a quick move in ready home. What seemed fantastic has turned into an adventure in placing 2 warranties, multiple maintenance requests and a general dismissal of my concerns. I am told at almost every call made that the water leaking in multiple areas, standing water in my windowsills, frost on windows so bad that it looks like a freezer that needs to be defrosted, frost/ice on the floor in front of a door with a significant draft felt are "normal" given that warranties are being completed and work being done, the concerns are NOT normal. There are other issues as well and the company has had trades come out to do "peace of mind" check as "the home passed inspection so it's fine." and "we'll get you settled here and everything will be good." they also marketed features that were in the home that are not actually there. when I asked about said features and getting them put in since it was part of why I chose the home I got the "oops we mixed that up. another floorplan has that not yours. If you want it, you'll have to hire it out." The window covering upgrade that came with the house had sliding door blinds that prevent me from opening the pantry that is next to the door. I was told they would remove the blinds totally or move them up leaving a gap at the bottom. And "they would learn from this for future homes" I've seen the photos of other homes in the neighborhood that all have functional window coverings But I was not offered to have it corrected to a functional level. I was also told that cost would be my responsibility. what a joke. Additionally, I had to have someone come and fix the front door lock as the door wouldn't stay latched/closed unless the deadbolt was engaged. Talk about a lack of feeling safe in your own home......I feel like I was sold a lemon home. I purchased the home 3 months ago and am still not living there. It has been ridiculous and I'm tired of the dismissal of the care team. at this point i do not want to live in the home, the community or ever work with this builder again. Our homebuying experience with Lennar was poor from start to finish. The quality of workmanship and materials in my home has been disappointing. Since moving in, we have dealt with multiple issues that should not exist in a new home. It feels like cheap materials and shortcuts were used throughout the build. I was misled about key details, including countertop material and sealing, which I had to fix myself. This made me question the company’s trustworthiness. For the price we paid, the value was subpar. The house looks decent from the outside, but the construction quality does not match what we were told or expected. When it came to issues after closing, Tiara was the only positive part. She handled complaints professionally and provided support when most of Lennar would not. If not for her, our experience would likely be much worse. ... More

The price of the house was good, everything else was mediocre at best. Craftsmanship was sub par, many issues im still dealing with 2 month later. Brand new washer leaks, fridge is dented from whoever installed it, finish carpentry is poor. There are hidden fees they don’t tell you about, like the service area assessment fee which is 274 a quarter! Buyer beware! Do your homework.
