I bought a lennar home in Las Vegas, NV and now in Riverview. The only benefits is all inclusive. Cleanliness, responsiveness to problems, and customer service are almost non existent.

I bought the house in April and have experienced major problems with the home. As soon as I moved in had a problem with my drip system which causes the water to drip 24/7 and my water usage/bill to be high for four months. In addition, my breaker for my fridge constantly went out and caused a flood in my kitchen and food to spoil several times. Now my windows are leaking water in the house because it was not installed correctly. Such a headache and emotional stress with buying the house. The lack of job site supervision and quality control was extremely evident. The quality of workmanship was extremely poor and not up to par for a brand new home.

Awful Overall Experience With Lennar

My husband and I had an awful experience with building and purchasing our home with Lennar. Our final home walk through appointment was cancelled one hour before we were to meet (after we had arranged to be off of work and had child care services lined up). The house at our final walk through was not finished (not cleaned with dead bugs everywhere, missing paint, holes in the walls/ceilings, all the blinds were missing, the seamless shower frame we paid for was not installed etc). We had to rush to close because Lennar forced us and we had to push Lennar for months to get everything ...

I really had higher expectations from Lennar but I feel it fell short on several fronts...not going to recommend to any one. ..I would probably advice to stay away from Lennar given the price of the house and poor material and workmanship...sad !!

Have been waiting for driveway pavers to be replaced since before we moved in almost 6 months ago

I love my home and it’s expected to have a few issues that need to be ironed out. With that being said, it shouldn’t take 6 months to replace pavers and the rear door lock is stripped and has an issue with the locking mechanism. Those are two of the major issues we have that refuse to be addressed.

Just weeks after moving in all nine upper kitchen cabinets came loose from wall and exploded when they hit the floor.....glass flew to every corner of lower level. All dishes shattered!!! Small grandkids had just finished making breakfast on counter below cabinets and would have been seriously insured or worse! Lennar found that all cabinets were screwed into wallboard/paper only!

Community green spaces and amenities never completed and issues take forever to get resolved

We and 50-60 of our neighbors were all promised beautiful finished green spaces and a tot lot when we were in the sales process. Lennar never finished these and apparently has no plan to. Other neighborhoods have beautiful amenities for the same HOA cost we do. Different builders who keep their promises. We will have to hire legal council and go through mitigation for breach of the sales agreement as we were all told the same things and our neighborhood is not up to par. Poor tile work. Cheap paint and carpet. Fit and finish work awful. The smart home features are nice, however I've been informed that they are not included anymore.

Keeping promises on construction of amenity

When we purchased in October of 2018 we were told community amenity would be completed by November 2019. Now we are told that Lennar is negotiating to re-purchase the development company which they sold last October because new developer now says they will not complete community. Stalemate has been going on for at least three months. No date provided for amenity completion or even a commitment to build at this point. Unacceptable performance by Lennar.

I completed a scathing review of Lennar 5 months ago. I will summarize. I consider Lennar the worst home builder I have ever worked with and I have moved 39 times. Your prime motivator is speed , not quality. Your workers take no pride in their work and do not respect the work of others. I did not rate you in trustworthiness as I have no way to measure this, and of course your survey required an answer to submit.

Alot of dings, scratches, cracks. Bad first experience.

We just recently bought a home in Rosena Ranch from a Lennar community. Since we've moved in, we have had to call service quite a few times for issues that should not be happening in a new home. For example, our handrail on the stairs are already having separation from the wall. It is under warranty and will get fixed, but it is very inconvenient especially because the contractors have to schedule so far out. These things should not be happening in a new home. I don't know if I trust Lennar's workmanship. The backyard was done very cheaply as well and all the neighbors complain about the ...

There were many issues to be resolved, not all of which were completed to our satisfaction. The standard answer to our issues was “It meets code” even though we did not agree and could show it was different to plan. For new home buyers, make sure you watch every stage of the development and take someone who understands home construction with you on your walk through so that you pick up all the issues.

The paint and the painters they use are the cheapest possible, there are spots where there is barely any paint. We have had 2 major leaks. No pad and apartment grade carpet which for a house that is over $500k is very sad. They say they put your front and back yards in, ok yes they do but they are put in by people who know nothing about landscape. No soil under the sod, the wrong plants. They put trees too close to the houses that will grow way to tall, big and fast.

I love the floor plan for my home but the customer service after I moved into my home has been horrendous!! I've not seen nor heard from the person who walked me through my home since he asked for a five star rating while delivering 1 star service. They've not followed up to get all the items from the original list nor address the ones I've added since the move. The quality of the flooring and cabinets is not worth the money charged! Lennar - Just know that if something is broken or not working properly

Just know that if something is broken or not working properly be prepared to wait a loooong time to have it fixed because of mishandled scheduling issues with subcontractors. Also, the repair work can only be done on week days forcing you to take days off from work only to have the workers not show up which is incredibly frustrating. It's been almost 6 months without a working master bedroom shower

Our advisor was very knowledgeable but unfortunately, he had a family emergency during our home buying process from the very beginning and was told to contact 2 other Lennar reps if we had any questions. They were no help at all. Never let us know what was going on and never returned calls. This was the most crucial time as we were in the actual home buying process. Lennar’s house plans are very well done for modern living. Materials are as advertised. Home care warranty is practically worthless. And their people can be spiteful if you get upset with their poor service.
