As a real estate investor, I am a 5x Lennar home investor. 4 of them are in FL. This 5th home at Glen Pine is the worst closing experience I have ever had. I will not buy another home from Lennar in FL anymore. The main issues are poor workmanship at and missing house keys. My closing was delayed 4 weeks because of these and other issues. But I will just focus on the 2 mentioned. The major issue I had was the many exterior walls were discolored. Miranda, Lennar customer rep, was at orientation and final appt. She brushed it off as sand, and did not remove it because it was not listed ...

Lennar's motto is "Everything's Included" yes... but... Things that are NOT included: Washer/Dryer, Door/drawer pulls for cabinets, fence, back yard, more than one bare thin coat of paint. During initial conversations we were told that there were closeout specials and that we could make an offer and things would be accepted, this was far from true. During the loan processes we were told that 4% was available, this was also far from true. There were a lot of places where it felt like Lennar made promises that they had no intention of keeping and it very much soured me to the experience. ...

Lennar does not respond to request after they have received your down payment. The worst company to work with in my opinion. Please do not go through Lennar if you can avoid it.

One of the worst home buying experience I ever had. Do not recommend Lennar to anyone. Everything is terrible, starting from home buying experience to built quality. Bought two units in a span of 4 months and both the experiences are horrific and both the units built quality is subpar.

First, we do love the house. However, Lennar has been a nightmare to work with. Up until the middle of January, we were told our house would be ready at the end of April of 2024 which would have been perfect timing for us. On January 18th we were told that we would be closing 12 days later on January 30th, giving us almost no warning whatsoever. If we delayed closing at all they were going to charge us $300 per day (READ YOUR CONTRACT!) for the delay. So we said fine, let us get our inspector in, like we mentioned at the beginning. They told us "Well, you need 30 days notice before closing in ...

I've purchased three houses in my lifetime, but none of the experiences compare to the terrible service provided by Lennar. Starting with the sales team, they are excessively pushy and pressure you into making impulsive decisions. They employ scare tactics and provide misleading information about the property. I strongly advise against making impulsive decisions and recommend thoroughly checking all sales information before making a purchase. Poor communication throughout the process. Failure of staff to communicate information and process things and respond to questions and queries in a timely manner if at all despite not even even financing the purchase. Poor complication at every level - sales, title, on site, etc….trying to get answers to anything during the process was someone kicking the can or passing the. Ucla to someone else who passed it to the next one and on and on. Also staff doesn’t seem to know what they’re doing or have the right information. Yup, overall just plain bad and glad it’s over.

The buying experience was terrible and the house has already had to get the air conditioner unit replaced. The air is CONSTANTLY messing up. The tile in the shower looks like it’s been done by someone who didn’t know what they were doing. Never again.

Terrible overall experience. The salesman, salesman’s supervisor, concierge, Construction Foreman all were horrible. The lack of follow through and returning calls was unacceptable. The title company returned half of my calls until I closed then stopped returning my calls. Ken, who did the warranty walk through and sign off was great. I’m a seasoned investor and not a first time home buyer which is what they are used to dealing with. They prey on the ignorance of the buyer and don’t put the buyer first.

We have purchased several homes in the past, and this by far has been our worst experience. First, we had many difficulties with the builders in order to get the issues fixed correctly in the home before the signing date. The representative who was assigned to us and who suppose to be handling these issues, made us feel like we were in the wrong for bringing them to his attention, and he tried to pursued us that these issues were not valid. Had a bad experience with the recent purchase. I was either given with a wrong mailbox key or the label inside mailbox is swapped. I’m only getting mails of my neighbour. Followed up with postal office and they say they’re delivering mail to correct box. HOA does not help with this and no one from Lennar owns this issue to resolve. The issue is still unresolved

I was really excited to buy my first ever home but after the experience I’ve had with LENNAR I would have chosen differently. The experience I had with the mortgage team started off very rough and I experienced very poor communication and errors with the loan officer. For the price paid, the interior of the condo has poor quality materials. Parking assignment was terrible. I bought a unit in building 10 however they assigned parking near building 7. They wouldn’t disclose this details during the final walkthrough and were sneaky about it. Now, Lennar and the HOA are pointing fingers at each other. Guess who suffers? Me and my family.

My loan and mortgage officer Anna and Deacon were completely unresponsive for days leading up to closing and terrible about returning emails, texts, and phone calls. Very frustrating process. Our salesperson Trent showed us online a home with wood flooring and when we asked for photos of the home he sent us two photos are night showing very little. When we saw the hole with tile flooring and were upset he just said "well it was in the contract."
