great experience to buy a house form lennar.

Have couple of issues, lennar want me to do a zoom call. Should send a guy to address issues which are minor instead of having to make time for this.

Salesperson was responsive to our request, and found the house plan & lot that fit our needs. Contract was signed using Docusign and pictures were sent periodically on our homes progress. It was built exactly as planned.

Go with a builder who offers options.

I would like to thank all lennar team for all the help for getting me in new home. my special thanks goes to karran who not just did her job being a administrator but went out of her way to help us getting into the house. i really appreciate all her help in communicating with us even when she was on vacation. once again thanks to each and everyone in Lennar team.

Thanks for everything we'll be in contact before the 1st year

Since moving in there has been one issue after another with our home, as well as the surrounding neighbors. (and I'm talking about some BIG health and safety hazard issues). We have had people constantly in our home fixing issues since we moved in which has been frustrating. Many of the fixed items have been done very sloppy. Some of the issues we were told weren't under warranty, so we are already having to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket for the extremely fast and sloppy work that is done with building these homes so quickly. Lennar uses the cheapest possible materials and the furnace installed isn't even suffice to heat half of our small home and so we can't use certain rooms when it's cold outside (and in Colorado it's cold for at least half of the year). More options would have also been appreciated with the home buying process as well, such as something as basic as a few different paint color options, or the option to have a bathtub. I am stuck with a yellow paint with modern style picks and it clashes. That is not a huge deal as I can repaint down the line but it would have been nice to have that option to avoid yet another cost. ... More

We are very pleased with our new home!

However, I feel like no one wanted to take responsibility for some of the issues that I was experiencing with my new home. Easily and quickly put it off on the development/management company that the house is associated with. Frustrating! I will say that I love my new home and I will work through the issues on my own which unfortunately will have to come out of my pocket because the management company believes that it is Lennar's responsibility per the warranty. I am stuck in the middle!

great overall experience with the whole home buying process

Buying process was not horrible. Home has turned out to be built extremely poorly and needs lots of warranty work. Builder also decided to save money by not completing a retaining wall between the properties resulting in 15k in out of pocket expense to resolve eroding steep hill of dirt builder somehow got the city to sign off on. Stay away from Lennar if you want quality for your money.

In these trying construction times with low volume availability of materials and completed homes, we were glad to find a builder that could meet our accessibility needs and deliver on time. Lennar staff at Timber Creek kept us informed on the progress of our home and addressed all warranty items with a tracking system to ensure quality completion

My experience was great! The build had some minor things to fix but the responsiveness with the warranty was fast

The finance department was discombobulated and frustrqting

There is cheap wood fencing

There was an electrical outlet missing at the backyard. Lennar was contacted and fixed the issue within the following day.

Professional and rapid respond to any issues

We enjoyed a wonderful working relationship with Jennifer and Boone. Both of them were friendly, knowledgeable, organized and responsive, Any initial (and follow-up) problems that came up were quickly addressed to our satisfaction. We couldn't ask for a better home building experience.

Great experience overall. The mortgage rate with Lanner mortgage was high though.

Not a fan. Did not deliver on time, poor job management, many failed inspections. Not the experience I had hoped for from a reputable builder. Subs unreliable and poor workmanship.

Love the experience of buying a home. I enjoyed most of the process. There were times at which it was stressful and chaotic but I didn’t plan on buying a home during a pandemic, either. Appreciative of what Lennar offers.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Sooo much easier than in prior years of buying houses. This will be the fourth house I've had built in my life. Unfortunately, I didn't get to pick anything out this time like I would normally. It was done by the sales guy. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing though. I probably would have priced myself right out of the house picking stuff out at the showroom! lol. Lucky for me, he did a good job in picking! Prices are off the chart. I think I should have paid a LOT less for this house, but it's the nature of the current state of things. I'm just grateful and blessed that I was able to get anything at all! The sales guys were great and the mortgage guy was too and even helped me with a situation after the loan was sold to another lender! Thank you Lennar! ... More
