The workmanship was poor. Lots of issues to attention to detail. When I complained, the construction managers response was that the brand new home was meant to be lived in. That response floored. I would not buy from Lennar again.

I’m extremely disappointed, with the price I’m paying for a house like this I expect small problems if any. I’ve had major construction done to an upstairs closet, missing paint in parts of my house, spots with no texture, water damage to a door, door hinges ripping from the walls. I’m beyond annoyed with how much time it takes to get these problems resolved. During the contract phase of the purchase we inquired about the HOA documents. They were sent to us and we signed the contract based on those documents. We went to closing with the understanding that we could build a fence based on the styles offered in the HOA documents and found out that we were given the wrong HOA documents. Lennar offered no recourse to this issue. Had we been given the correct information prior to signing a contract we would have chosen a different community. The quality of the home is subpar I have been in my residence for less than 6 months and I have already had to have major repairs to my HVAC unit and I am still looking for compensation from Lennar. The poor craftsmanship is a direct correlation to excessive billing.

I had a 1-2 week repair service in the bathroom. Due to systemic problems with the warranty department it took 4 months to complete. I had to file a BBB to get their attention.

Our yard wasn’t properly graded which caused flooding in our basement multiple times within the first two months. They crashed a bobcat into our house and took a long time and multiple requests to fix the damage. They didn’t put enough dirt down and sodded over straight rock in some areas... the list goes on. Apparently Lennar is too big of a company to take pride in doing the the job right.

The qualification process was completely redundant and stressful. Every step of my experience lacked communication by Lennar employees. I reached out to a district supervisor who did not even acknowledge my email nor concerns. Workmanship was not the quality I expected. I missed 8 days of work due to appointments with Lennar of which 6 were NO Shows. Video doorbell has been replaced twice.

We purchased a new build Lennar home. We loved the layout of the house and the community is just what we were looking for. So, put up with the months of construction delays (never being informed properly about the progress) which forced us to live in an AirBnB for two months. We moved into a very dirty and unfinished house, It was not cleaned well after construction and all the issues we have raised beforehand were not addressed . So, our first few weeks / months in our brand new home was spent chasing Lennar. Poor job done by the painters, bickers, gardeners and an overall poor supervision ...

We were misled multiple times during the buying process and throughout building process. We didn’t get the product we thought we were getting. We were forced to close with a 2 page list of unfinished issues and now I’m not even getting any responses to my issues that were left unfinished.

My roof is leaking, light switches don't turn on anything, shower glass wall not sealed, air conditioning not cooling upstairs, basement walk out drain not draining well, water coming into basement. New construction needs a quality control staff to test everything in house for working order.

I opened a case may 2019 for my door frame that is detaching from my front door and water in my basement with no response as of July 2019 and I find out the "case" was closed! My ac unit was not working either, they did come fix that but to spend the money I did on my home I deserve more respect and response. I feel like no matter who I call I am not getting a response.

Unfortunately Lennar is more focused on selling houses than building quality homes and providing good customer service. My closing date was moved up three weeks but my house had numerous items that needed to be fixed. I was assured they would be fixed after closing. Five months later, some of these items still haven’t been repaired. I submit warranty items that need to be addressed and nothing happens. Lennar eventually closes out the ticket like it’s been completed, but it hasn’t! This has happened numerous times so I eventually call customer service. It takes months to get things ...

Throughout the entire process we had to keep contacting Lennar for updates. When contractors showed up at our house they rarely knew what to do. The quality of work was not great, paint dabs on the floor etc
