Build quality and attention to detail was lacking. Be certain to make sure your house is completely finished before closing as they will attempt to rush it off the books. Once closed everything has to go through warranty. Interior painting option of very low quality. Save yourself money and have someone do it right the first time. They give you a credit to buy a gallon of paint but this will not match properly. I could go on but I’m sure other comments will address other issues.

Love the house, but not what we were expecting.

We purchased a new build Lennar home. We loved the layout of the house and the community is just what we were looking for. So, put up with the months of construction delays (not all of Lennar's fault) which forced us to live in a campground for 3 months. We moved into a very dirty house, It was not cleaned well after construction. Dust on all the walls, showers, counters and cabinets. The floor tile was not cleaned either. (paint and left over grout everywhere) So, our first few days in our brand new home was spent cleaning. We then started noticing several poor construction issues. Door ...

Still trying to get issues fixed almost 5 months in.

We've had nothing but problems since the day of closing when we walked in for final review and none of the issues had been corrected. I could give a whole list of issues and problems that almost 5 months in we are still trying to get taken care of. Seems like every time we get one resolved, another issue shows up. I wouldn't recommend them.

Lennar needs to focus on their customers

Once the agreement was signed it has been nothing but a hassle with Lennar. Homes are delivered with a “it’s good enough” standard. Communication is close to nonexistent and it’s a tough and long process to get them to do anything. I guess they are hoping people would give up and deal with things. Lennar is all about the quick turnover and sales. Not quality and customer service. Won’t recommend or buy a Lennar home ever again.

Quality lacks low builder grade

I have popping drywall throughout home. Lennar came in to fix 1st room and rate fix 2 out of ten. Did not report for rest of house based on this 1st fix. Granite on island has bad joint that is visible. Another bad fix! This is my 3rd build and absolutely not a good value for the quality.

Builders rush instead of ensuring quality products. The level of professionalism is below standard. Communication between all parties in the process is poor. If you have a new build, expect significant delays from the original move in date. I could go on, but basically expect to be disappointed and don’t set your expectations high.

Don't expect your house to be built of the same quality as purchasing from single person or smaller company. You can end up with a good home as long as you're willing to go through the battle of dealing with warranty work. We had a good experience with our second sales rep and our warranty service.

Sales Person and Warranty Rep were good and professional. Overall it was a mediocre to poor experience. I think Lennar's extremely inflexible polices along with their "anything to gouge out a buck" corporate greed mentality make it hard to rate it a good or great experience.

We were very excited to have Lennar build our new home. However, we encountered many obstacles and were pretty much told deal with it or find another location to build. Warranty items take time to rectify. In the end, we have a beautiful new house that we hope to enjoy for years to come.

Horrible Communication and Promises not followed through

Communication and response time is horrible for any warranty work needed. We were promised several things from first warranty guy then he was switched to different property and new guy has no idea about anything. Wait time to get items addressed and taken care of is ridiculous. We have asked to speak with supervisor verbally, through text, and via emails. No response on that yet either.

If I could do it all over, I would have gone with a different builder. The quality of the home is not good. I continue to find issues and warranty reps are not helpful. I was told one thing during my walk and now I am being told something different as far as what is covered.

Our brand new home, built in 2025, was built without internet connectivity. Today, nearly two months following our closing, we still have a fiber cable running through our driveway in order to have internet/cable services. Lennar hasn’t lent even a single phone call in helping us get it resolved. Additionally, every time we use the oven we blow a breaker. We’ve put in warranty requests and for 3+ weeks we’ve been waiting for somebody to contact us to address the issue. Crickets….

We were so thrilled to purchase our new home with Lennar. We had a lot of issues and the construction manager at the time was not truthful with us. We had over an inch of water standing in our basement after the drywall was installed and he said we only had a few puddles. It ended up that Lennar had to hire a restoration company to come in and found a lot of mold in our walls. It was eventually taken care of. Then when we moved in and the craftsmanship of the house is sub par. Door frames are not level and poor quality with walls. I could go on but this experience has been not stellar ...

There were several areas that need attention in my home buying experience. 1- I noted to the seller representative that the address was wrong on official documents. They stated that it was only on their documents and not an issue. I repeated that my concern was that the address was registered wrong with the city. I was repeatedly told this was not the case. In the end, it was the car and the seller had to reach out to the city to correct the address. 2-the kitchen cabinets where damaged on approximately 50% of the doors. I’m having bad experiences with Lennar. Take forever to fix the master shower room. And now, they excuses that the guys come to fix the shower room don’t have enough training. If he don’t, how come Lennar didn’t hiring someone have full training? Or all your employees have no license to build the home? I’m very upset when they told us they if willing to accept the money and they will not come to fix the shower room that broken!

Overall experience was unsatisfactory. Lack of communication, misinformation given, cheap building materials, poor workmanship. I could go on and on. I would not purchase another home from this builder again.

If you want to pay high dollar for a cheap build with corners cut everywhere you look - buy a Lennar home. They don’t even paint (or prime) the ceilings. The things we’ve discovered after it was too late have continued to pile up and cost us over $10,000 in upgrades that should have been standard for a home of this price within the first 2 months. Stay away.
