My experience with buying this house was not great. The company's promotions didn't benefit me, and they kept taking things away from the house, blaming it on costs. The customer service was poor, and they were mostly unavailable except through text. I'm not satisfied with the experience, and I'm unlikely to buy from this builder again or recommend them.

Day one I was promised Lennar would over communicate during the process however it was quite the opposite. It took me contacting every VP in Lennar to get responses from my salesperson and community rep. Once I finally got answers to questions, I would get the standard response of “I can’t answer that because so and so handles that.” When I arrived for my final walk through the cleaning team was still there so we worked around them. The experience has been an experience you do not want as a homeowner. It started with discouraging you from having a Realtor and getting a Lawyer. Get your home inspected as there are many flaws and some areas not completed to standards. You must take your time during the initial inspection of your home to include the outside landscaping area. I had dead trees and when request of replacement was done Lennar stated that landscaping is not included. Ensure your irrigation system works!!! 2 month to fix all the issues and poor materials

We have been dealing with all type of situations in this house. From poor materials to inefficient service to solve the issues. We have been calling and asking for the issues to be resolved over and over without any success. It’s been 2 month were the house can’t be rented and we are at revenue loss. Without counting the several expenses we have incur since we don’t live in USA.

The sales and finance teams are awesome. The warranty team has been good to work with. The overall construction, workmanship, oversight and quality are absolutely terrible. The trade workers have no regard for the way they perform their jobs. When the home was completed and turned over to me it was a disgrace. Please take some pride in what you do and give people a home they can be proud of from day one.

-A large pattern of sod was stolen from our backyard the day of or right before closing and took a month to be replaced. -The wrong addressed deadbolt was installed on our front door so we couldn't properly secure our home until they got the right address. It was a nightmare from the time construction started

We identified several issues during construction and Lennar was largely non-responsive. We closed with a tear in the carpet of one bedroom. It took 7 weeks for them to correct the issue. Once they finally came to fix it!, It took approximately 2 hours. We had similar experience with other issues.

Constant threats of losing your deposit even though they didn't approve you and sends you to another place to get approved very sketchy. They approve you even though you cant actually afford a property to make a sale. The house itself was way overpriced for the area in what you actually get, no fans anywhere in the home and all bedrooms don't even have lights wtf is that. A bunch of damage that was identified through the walkthroughs that still have not been fixed and its been 3-4 months already. They leave you with a dirt backyard no grass or anything and left a BUNCH of construction trash ...

Poor craftsmanship and low budget materials and design decisions. The sales team only cares about one thing; taking your money and the construction / install team do not take any pride in their work. The communication between all departments was terrible. They are all reactive and not proactive in more ways than one. If I had to do it all over again I would not buy a home with Lennar. I do not recommend this company and if know anyone considering in purchasing a home with Lennar I would advise them to reconsider.

Tom, New Home Consultant, was always communicated and was extremely helpful throughout the process. We raised issues during the build about things that were concerns to us, when we received the house the issues were not addressed/fixed. We now live in a house that the garage door opener does not work, the floor in the master bedroom has a creaking sound that can be heard downstairs and outside the room, a tube we cannot put our wires in for our tv because of the sharp turn and no rope installed for us, one stair on the basement stairs that is different material then the rest of the stairs, ...

Beware of purchasing a home through Lennar. Unfortunately, the project manager does not manage their jobs. Contractors are getting away with crooked walls, drainage issues, poor workmanship, grading issues, etc. They will make excuses and not fix them. The project manager may even get in your face and try to threaten you. Poor purchasing experience! I will never purchase another Lennar home!

It. Has been a disappointing experience from sales, orientation, communication, follow through to correct. deficiencies in the house a landscaping. . I am guessing you have too few staff to provide the qualities you promise. The delays in getting to closing I.e. simple repairs and/or replacements made it extremely costly and frustrating arranging shipping, transport etc all of which was easily easiily solveable.

I wouldn’t buy a Lennar home again. I have been trying nearly two months to get warranty items repaired. One being my front door lock. I have to make a 10 mile round trip to pick up my mail as my mail box station has been broken five plus months. And the list goes on.

The sales person was awesome to deal with through the whole process and is the only person that helped me resolved major construction issues. The Lennar Construction Rep was not knowledgeable and lacked insight and dedication to resolve issues identified by me or a 3rd party inspector. Now I’m dealing with major and minor construction warranty issues with no follow up by a new Lennar Warranty rep. Seems like it’s a common thing.

Lennar initially tried to sell the house 15k over price of the property advertised on THEIR website and did not honor that price. Furthermore, when the appraisal came back 15k under sale price they did not notify me and show me the appraisal even though that was part of the contract, I had to find out for myself a day before closing. I have been in the house for 6 weeks and still have warranty items open including a window that was not installed correctly with an inch gap at the top allowing water to come in. Home quality is very disappointing. The walls and door were not smoothened. It is very sharp, adults and kids get scratch and hurt when hitting the walls, doors and door holders. Flooring was not fully settled and humpy bumpy

Lennar representative explained everything as common and normal where poor quality of workmanship and bad materials were pointed. His name is Kurt. For example when I pointed a standing water he, said it is normal for drainage. There was a gap in the main door and frame and Kurt said he will block with the bubble gum he was chewing. This is not acceptable and he is very rude and disrespected to us.
