I’m surprise you ask. From day one there have been issues. Some resolved others still waiting and waiting. My current (but not least) issue is a situation whereby the way the roof is pitched , When it rains, the ground below becomes saturated and flooded by a deluge of water pouring off the roof. If it were concrete below, it would be a none issue but being dirt, it can only stand enough water before flooding and doing a surmountable damage to the ground below it. The home buying process was a good experience aside for the misinformation on certain processes. My biggest issue is the quality of the build itself. The attention to detail and overall workmanship is terrible. All the issues pointed out at the walk through were not taken care of by the time signing came along. The worst experience one can have, bought this house for more than $1M and the quality of the house is extremely low. The customer service and warranty services are disaster, vendors takes months and months to even address the issues those have posted even prior to closing the escrow. I have purchased houses through other builders and I could see a big difference in the quality. If you can't make it right in the first place then at least try to be customer obsession and insisting on the higher standard but providing great customer service to make it out as warranties. As a retired building/remodeling contractor from New England, I was shocked at the poor quality of workmanship and construction oversight that went into this building. Construction flaws and short cuts were only discovered following hurricane damage that never should have happened if a better quality roof vent had been used. Because a large section of my living room ceiling fell after the insulation above was soaked due to rain pouring into these vents, I was able to see just how poorly this place was constructed. Many delays. The day of closing so many items were not finished. Was asked to sign a document that they had a final inspection but they couldn't provide a Ceretificate of Occupancy. The quality of workmanship is far below construction standards, especially for the money they are sellling these units. Punchlist was over 30 items and 2 months after closiing no attempt has been made to address them. Had to complete some of them myself in order to make the unit livable.

Waited on fixing items after closing and then informed me I had to go through the warranty side. Many items wrong are amateur items, holes in walls, paint on tile floor and rugs, knobs on kitchen cabinets don’t line up, sensors missing, openings in garage, a/c draining into the garage, weather stripping left off the external doors, house never cleaned and I could go on. Not one item has been repaired, it’s been 45 days. Talked to other owners and some of their problems are worse than mine and still waiting on repairs!

The construction manager did not closely monitor the work of any subs. They are basically just inputting requests and scheduling. The trim and painting on this house is the worst I have ever seen in new construction. Pages of followup needed.

We just purchased April 2020 and sold April 2022 a new build Lennar townhome in Prior Lake, MN, that experience was great. The attention to detail, commitment to follow here in Punta Gorda, FL is horrible. I booked a flight and the Lennar team was completely aware that I was flying down for a scheduled walk thru August 22 so we could close by the end of August. I walk in and could not believe what I was seeing, no appliances, vents not installed, no weather stripping on front door, garage floor not done, closet doors not hung, closet shelves not hung, filthy dirty outside and in. Lennar was very pushy to use their mortgage company from the start, making the process super difficult when we decided to use our outside lender. We moved in in early August and different color cabinets were installed in the kitchen, still hasn’t been replaced. There’s rebar sticking straight out of the foundation above the grass. The sod next to our AC unit that we were told was going to be put in was never done. The AC didn’t work correctly for the first two weeks. I had to pay 500 dollars out of pocket to have an electrician come tell me the ground and neutral in my dryer power outlet ...

Horrible experience. If it wasn't for the good Floorplan we would have walked away! Very very poor workmanship. There isn't a wall straight in the house. No craftsmanship. Don't buy Lennar!

We moved hoping to have a peaceful retirement home. While our Salesperson was very knowledgeable and did her best with purchasing, Construction was terrible. Love our home but the workmanship and attention to detail is not good especially for the price we paid. Totally feel taken advantage of and Lennar has not been responsive at all. Our construction manager did not do a great job and was MIA with most of all of our problems during the process. Again, beautiful home but not a great experience at all.

The price that I paid for the house that I got doesn't match. The quality of workmanship is very poor. It's not just one area, it's everywhere. Foundation concrete has stains, colors on the porch (from and back) both are single coats that can last one year. The second floor is uneven, the walls are not perfect at 90 degrees. Delay is build may be common for builder, but that cost buyer a higher mortgage rate. That is not it, if house is closed with pending lawn work money to be deposited to escrow is buyer responsibility if buyer don't go with builder recommended lender, so kind of CHEAP trap.

As soon as I moved in, a huge leak occurred in the master bedroom shower that caused a lot of damage and the response from Lennar customer service was horrific! The workmanship is terrible it looks like they just cut as many corners as they could. The paint job is horrible, it looks like they did one coat of paint and didn’t do it well you can see white spots everywhere.
