I would not recommend working with Lennar in any capacity. They do not care about the customer (especially if you are a woman) and the contracts are set up to cover themselves against a lack of customer service. They blame the customer and even told me 'nothing the sales agent sales is binding.' I will never buy a new home from Lennar again.

Closed 6/22, it’s 8/8 and the construction trash can is still on my back porch. Learned a week after moving in that more than half the houses on my street are investor owned rentals. Worst mistake I’ve made in my life trusting Lennar.

From day one it was a bait and switch with everything I was told and shown. The company has horrible communication with the buyer and buyers agent. The craftsmanship of the home is horrendous. My walk through brought to life all kinds of issues, some of which I was told were fixed and weren't! The process of buying the home was okay. We waited for about 45mins in a room after signing for the keys, then they came in with music and congratulated us. Handed the keys over and we left. After that it hasn’t been great. We’ve had issue after issue in the home and each time it seems as though we’re just a problem when trying to get it fixed. No one seems to truly care about helping. We had a roof leak 4 days after we moved in due to the roof being INCOMPLETE. It happened on a Friday and they refused to send anyone out until Monday. Lennar really dropped the ball on this community called Terra Bella in Henderson NV. I made the mistake of purchasing a second floor unit, in a 3 story building. Due to poor, cheap construction, every time the people above me walk across the floor, I hear it. This goes on day, and night. Obviously, there is no buffer between the floors. I have lived in a high rise before, and never have experienced anything like this. The GE appliances are so cheaply manufactured, noisy, and nothing any person in their right mind would purchase. Make sure you are getting the whole truth about the fees that are charged here. There are 3 different accounts: 1 - $180.00 the second fee is $237.01 the third B is $112.00. We were told everything was covered under the $180.00. But it isn’t so buyer be aware of what you are told. Next time I will get everything in writing with signatures. Trust me no one wants to make this mistake right.

First walk-through brand new home: no running water, workers left feces in each toilet (no water to flush). Cracks & holes in cabinets. Large patch of dead sod front yard. Caulking poorly done. Foundation painted in batches. Hole near roof. Scratches on mirror & kitchen sink, etc.. Final walk-through water ran for 5 seconds & stopped. Overall the process of buying went somewhat smoothly with the mtg company, but as far as getting documents and answers from other professionals involved, the answers were incorrect and the realtor misled us as to what the house included. It was later pointed out in the contract that Lennar can make changes at any time and they are not bound to the contact although you are. They forgot the keypad to our garage and later said it may be offered as a courtesy yet all the other houses being built before or after our with same floor plan had them installed. I am very disappointed in the quality of work. There were so many issues with the house prior to my closing it was a very sad day by no means not a happy day. And still dealing with issues that should have been done right before closing. I would not refer anyone to buying a Lennar home in this community. Do Not Close until ALL building issues are signed off on. Dina is unresponsive and unqualified as a construction manager. Trades are not managed or construction work verified via a project plan Cosmetic defects are considered not important and are totally ignored. The amount of work order tickets that are required to be opened as a result of sales and Dina's non-responsiveness and follow-up is a full time job that falls on the shoulders of the buyer/home owner. Everything from start to finish has been terrible. Awful communication. I moved in to a bird in the house, had a trim nail go through my heel because they rush to clean, and found 3 more laying in the hall. House was not done at closing but was forced to close with no recourse. Once closed, was told to call the warranty depth. House was barely clean at closing. I still get emails requesting a signature on a document that I previously had signed 2 times. I've previously purchesed 2 new construction homes and thus was by far the worst. Not happy at all.
