I'm not really sure what I have to do to write a review on here. They have rejected my review 6 times so far. Lennar is the worst company to deal with to buy a house. The quality of the house is okay for the money that I paid but getting here was so far beyond reasonable. This will be no less than the sixth time. I have tried to write a review on this site to let other people know how rough it is trying to actually buy a home with the company. The lender agent was the worst. Rather than review the loan package and request all needed items at once the person handling the loan kept asking for one thing at a time so I would submit the one document they asked, and then the next day they want another and then another I ended up having to stay in a hotel because I sold my prior home and had nowhere to go. I’ve purchased many homes through the years and this was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had!!

The sals person doesn’t have much experience and irresponsible. The day in last year November when we first came to the sale office is also her first day at this subdivision. Both her iPad and computer didn’t work, she didn’t pay attention to what we said to her which caused misunderstanding late. We got sucked into using Lennar's lender for money towards closing. If the housing market wasn't so tight right now we would have backed out after dealing with the lender Jennifer. She was unresponsive, unprofessional & lacked knowledge required to do her job. It was a terrible first time homebuying experience. If you can avoid this, go with Lennar, if not stay clear.

Let's start with Lennar Lender - Regina Stacy was the one who provided her services and she locked our rate when we didn't ask her; she also mentioned that we could change it free of charge later, which wasn't true - she did nothing to help us lower the rate. This was the main the most negative experience that required a lot of stress and attention. Overall build quality is ok but could be better. We moved in to the house 3 months back and the drive way concrete had multiple wide cracks, when approached with the problem, the builder is not ready to fix because the external concrete is not covered in the warranty items. So we are not happy with the response.

I hear closing is nothing short of a stressful time that every home buyer just wants to get over with. But in my case this was “never seen before delays” and unprofessionalism from the loan officer, but more so on the loan processor. A few documents that were submitted to Lennar earlier in the closing process for the closing date got lost in Lennar hands, causing my closing date to be delayed by 2 days and closing at 9:50PM… So pretty much 3 days.

NEVER use all Lennar products together, like the builder and loan company (even though they give you insentive) because when 1 of them goes wrong they will work together to screw YOU. The homebuying experience was poor. Sales staff were dodgy about answering questions and not very transparent about the homebuying process. It was a sellers market and this was an apportunity for builders to show what kind of seller they were going to be and they showed it. Lennar knows it’s brand and knows it will get customers. Therefore, the have no care or put little value in the customers during the buying stage. Could’ve done better with home materials

The builder could’ve done better with materials used to build the homes. Lennar at Woodcreek has slabs on the back of their homes but the Chamberlin community across the bridge does not even though the prices of the home were exactly the same. Lennar, build the street like $200k homes instead of $330k homes. If you look at other builders in the community, they’ve put in effort in providing the best stones and bricks. Lennar doesn’t care as long as they get their money. I’m disgusted and will be selling soon. Won’t be dealing with Lennar again. Unless they fix their mistake . 1 star ...

Not the most pleasant homebuying experience since this was my first home. Lennar needs to strongly improve their customer service, hire quality contractors to repair the home correctly the first time, and become more transparent with the homeowner about buying a house through Lennar.

First off there was no model to look at! There was no shower door in master shower; no towel racks in any of the 3 bathrooms. No grab bars for us seniors. We had to purchase our own garage opener for the small garage. The patio out back - you can’t even put a chair on it (it’s too small). I wasn’t allowed to change the carpet in the bedrooms to tile unless I paid for it after closing. We had to get the plumber out for the water heater and washing machine

I am not sure who and what kind of backwards hiring is happening here, but these are the most unhelpful, most pushy, group of people I have ever dealt with. Buying experience was really bad! The only reason I kept on the process is because our home price rebate was really good and because of our realtor, but lennar sales agent was really not helpful and I wish I could say differently but I can’t. Seller did not answer a lot of our questions, deflected a lot of simple questions and at the end they didn’t even show up for our key delivery. I would not recommend them to any family members or friends, I’m sure lennar has really good people working for the company but the ones who helped me, were not!

My agent told me that my work vehicle would be okay to park in the neighborhood, but a week or two after moving in, the Hoa President stated that it was not allowed. Now we’re in a big financial bind to either find another place to live and move or to find a place to move my truck and end up paying a monthly rent for that. It was a terrible lie that got us in this place.

My experience was not the best. There were Docusigs almost weekly. There seemed to be very little communication between the loan officer and the underwriter so I was asked to provide information more than once. There were delays that I still don’t understand. I waited in the attorneys office to close for twelve hours . I was given te wrong keys to my home. There was no information about the community. It was a mess!
