I got my keys but didn’t get my garage door opener or my mailbox key. As a first time home buyer it was not only annoying but very difficult to deal with . I didn’t like the roughness and the figure it out mentality that I slowly came to realize. It was a very rushed process and I had to find out or contact them about my keys which should have been explained to me.

This whole experience was truly terrible. We feel like we got the run around for everything. When we met Hailey she was great and super helpful. She was the best person to deal with throughout this whole process. Everyone else was extremely unprofessional, rude, and difficult to contact. Our closing process was extremely stressful as they clearly put off the actual closing of our house to where we had to escalate to supervisors, still got the run around from the associates, and had to stay on top of everyone every step of the way. It was a terrible experience and still is two months later.

If I had known how stressful this would be I would never have bought this home. When things went bad I was threated with losing my deposit if I did not follow through on their timeline not mine. I am elderly and wanted a next generation home and they are the only builders who do them. The things on our punch list are still not done and it closed on Sept 27th. Most employees lie and no parts of Lennar communicates with each other.

So many disappointing examples of wastefulness. Throw away and redo just to make the cookie cutter process easier for Lennar. Terrible experience.

Super smooth transaction until you get the keys to your house and then the nightmare begins

We actually had a nice smooth transaction with the Lennar Lenders and everything was going great up until we closed. The day of closing we noticed that water from the master bath shower would leak out the front from where you enter into the shower. Our Construction manager who did the walkthrough with us made a note of this and shared a text with us who he made to someone to help us out. We were told we would need to go through the warranty department now. The worst homebuying experience.

Victor was the sales associate and the entire experience was awful. There was a mold situation that came up due to the builder not locking up the home when Hurricane Beryl came through. After us spending almost $1,000 on a mold inspection since the builder would not, the builder after 3 weeks got their own inspection because they didn't trust ours. Once they got their own, again, they dragged their feet getting the remediation started which resulted in us finding a place to live for over a week with a toddler, dogs, and my wife being pregnant. Very disappointed with the construction manager and their staff for failing to remove debris before the recent hurricane (Milton) hit the area. It forced me to leave my home for safety after concerns that concrete blocks would become projectiles. I asked repeatedly for this to occur and nothing was done. If I Had To Do It All Over Again

I would’ve most certainly went with another lender if could redo our first home buying experience. Bad experience from start to finish with one positive experience in the middle. We have a Facebook group that’s specifically associated with our new Lennar online community and to be honest within this review, it’s been mostly shared experiences of mentally exhausted new home owners.

Home buying experience with Lennar

As soon as we signed the contract, it all went downhill…Lennar struggled and still have not completed items from the Home Celebration walk. You need to chase them to complete otherwise Lennar tries to close the items without completing. Condescending attitude while you bring outstanding items even if it is evident the items are just not completed or do not comply with industry standards.

Lennar interior and exterior quality is very bad. I can say million issues in every place. 1. Our bathroom water leaked in just 3 weeks and Lennar have to break the walls to fix. 2. Our microwave trips every time and no solution for that. 3. Paint is falling apart inside the house 4. It’s funny when you see the flower plants Lennar gave in the landscaping. 5. Not worth for the money we spent.

You can’t trust Lennar

When I first came to look at a home. My realtor told me the house was white and it ended up being purple during my walk through. Also workers used my bathroom and left me a present and the house was not cleaned when given to me. Worst experience ever.

The most frustrating home buying process I’ve experienced. The mortgage team continuously sent documents for signature with errors, and when pointed out repeated said to just sign them as they were only for underwriting and we’d just be signing them again later with different info. Very uncomfortable process. I was still resigning corrected papers a month after closing that I had pointed out previously and told to not worry. Disappointing and Dissatisfied

Our initial sales agent Corina was perfect. Attentive and responsive Since then we have had nothing but problems. Plumbing leaks, painting issues, cabinet issues,, irrigation, counters and in trying to fix your problems your people have damaged our personal possessions. Oh and by the way one bathroom sink fell from the counter this morning. That is not all the issues we have put in for repair just what I can remember at the moment. Lennar has taken what was supposed to be a great experience and ruined it and taken 800k as well. Not something I will be recommending. Quite the opposite

Our sales person mislead us and we received no support from any Lennar leadership. Our initial loan agent seemed to have minimal understanding and provided no guidance. After moving in, our work orders have received very slow response and unprofessional communication. Poor craftsmanship has been shrugged continuously.

Horrible Customer Setvice!!!!

I would never recommend anyone to use Lennar. Maybe using another rep but certainly not Sam Reeves. You settlement date was pushed back 4 months with known pre existing issues. Extremely unaccommodating. Said settlement date was pushed back every week. Was offered multiple concessions and given none. Out of 5 homes I’ve purchased, Lennar was BY FAR the worst experience I’ve ever had!!! Steer clear of this builder.
