There us no consistency within the Lennar teams which takes away from the process. The follow-up is poor, the workmanship is sloppy and everyone blames the last person when there are mistakes. During the walkthrough, I pointed out areas of concern that were not addressed when I moved in. The house was spot cleaned, ie. Dirty windows, paint on the floors and windows, paint on the railings and carpet, debris from the sanding left along the trim of the walls, and on the flooring.While the carp we ts were vacuumed and the house smelled fresh, it was not cleaned properly. Maintance person is not helpfull they say every thing is warranty , construction manager Bill is zero helpfull, they gave my home with lot of patches in walkway they say everything is warranty and my attic door is also not working properly they say no warranty we brought a new brand home but its like second hand home. All of my neighbors are experiencing the same process - Lennar rushes the process to close on the sale of the home, so they can collect their funds, but then is not there with a team to address the open punchlist items post close. I have about 20 items that need addressed - from no shelves in our pantry to significant issues. The 2 significant items: 1) I have an irrigation issue that consumed 87k gallons of water in 30 days (thats not a typo). First I will start by saying that after talking to other buyers in the neighborhood, we are not the only one that feels this way. Multiple delays on our closing date with promises that were never delivered. We dealt with an absolutely rude construction manager that had do desire to listen or get anything accomplished, but was argumentative. We appeared to be more of a hassle to her. On our first walk through, they showed us our house without a driveway, no running water, half of the electricity in the house did not work and we were told we couldn’t walk around outside because it’s “too dangerous”. It never should have been shown to us in that state. The second walk thru was better, however it was very dirty because they never cleaned it. They installed the wrong water heater. Unfortunately, when it came to our salesman it was a poor experience. When you re spending well over the amount the house is worth just do to the market you expect professionalism atleast. We had a wonderful experience with our project manager who really was attentive but when it came to customer service provided by sales contact it was extremely poor and unprofessional.

Beautiful homes with terrible finishes! There is no attention to detail. The skill level of the workers working on these homes is not great, to say the least. The drywall, paint and trimwork are the worst finishes. Lennar should have a better oversight of their contractors/subcontractors/sub-subcontractors. I hope this helps a potential buyer decide.

Our experience in buying our new home went south!! Starting with financing department, I thought putting 20% down would allow us to get a conventional loan, with, well it should, but our financial representative didn’t say anything about our loan, we were about to close and he comes up with leaving tax’s and insurance in the payment, which brought up our payment!!! Everything was shiny and painted very pretty in the beginning. Unfortunately that was not the case. My move in date was pushed back multiple times, I was asked to close on the home prior to having the keys to the home. I found many errors during the walk through and was told the errors would be completed prior to my celebration. Lennar was on a strict schedule. They had hoped to complete the transaction by the end of November due to quarter closing. On the day of closing several things were not completed but due to Lennars reputation and buying experience I closed despite an uneasy feeling. I wish I had gone with my gut feeling. I will never recommend or purchase another home from this company. These people are a joke unresponsive poor workmanship failure to perform repair, show up without materials. I had to remove my own tub and replace it because they failed to do that. Remove my own cracked tile and replace them, I would never recommend you to build a dog kennel for me or do anyone else

The house was delayed 3+ months with no satisfactory explanation. We scheduled closing, all processes started and then Lennar moved closing without notifying me. I learned through my insurance agent who got an email to hold the insurance policy. We didn't have CO until the morning of closing. Lennar does not care about the home buyer. Everything they do is based on what is good for them. Construction issues that should have been fixed were just covered up. Floors slope, doors don't close, holes not patched. They talk a good game but don't come through on anything. We've waited nearly 2 months to get items fixed, including a leaky shower that will cause more damage. There is no one who respond to requests. The "client service" person has disappeared.

We had issues with the salesperson reaching out and coordinating with our realtor. He did keep us up to date on the progress of our house, which was nice. Upon coming in we had power pulled during the final walkthrough and the construction manager told us it was the electrical company’s fault. I'd love to share photos of the subpar workmanship throughout the entire home. From cracked drywall and ceilings, uneven and poorly installed crown moldings and baseboards, sloppy painting, unfinished lanai patio and concrete areas, cracked garage floors, doors installed incorrectly, missing towel and toilet paper holders, chipped tiles, and the list goes on and on. Check your included options on your contracts and make sure you get everything on that list before you close. This will be my first and last Lennar home. Lesson learned!!!

This was my second time buying with Lennar, and I was very disappointed. My first property/purchase was very smooth and good quality, but this time around things were subpar. I understand that construction has become more difficult since the pandemic due to supply chain issues, but the quality of the work doesn't also have to suffer. The quality of our home is less than satisfactory. It seems Lennar chooses to use too many inexperienced craftsmen and ultimately cannot deliver the quality of home you pay for. Finish work is definitely an area where they need to use more experienced craftsmen. Drywall finish, trim, painters, tile and cabinetry installation are all areas that NEED better QC focus, And Caulking cannot be the answer to every crack and crevice. The entire home buying process with Lennar was just one headache after the next. Their sales team cannot communicate anything to you in a timely manner, causing delays and missing out on lots that are for sale. Lennar Mortgage is a joke and a waste of time. Let’s start with the delay in finishing the home because Lennar prioritized homes financed in house, thus causing my interest rate to rise.
