Let me just say the only person that helped in this whole transaction was Celia. The worst experience was Lennar Mortgage (Christina Z), will NEVER recommend this lender and especially Christina! Dave the "walk through" guy was horrible!!! We never got a proper walk, unless you call a 6 minute walk proper? We were left figuring out how to work everything and search for instructions, still don't have the a/c warranty after asking more than three times... Still going through problems from lies told by Lennar. NEVER WILL RECOMMEND THIS BUILDER/LENDER!!!!!!!

From the time we put down earnest money this has been a bad purchase. With the exception of Joey Blackledge and Pablo Berrios we have had issues. Price quoted different from price provided after we had to put down earnest money, closing delays and online closing issues, Service issues getting scheduled and call backs, the quality of the build requiring multiple service calls. The electrical issues that have been known about through the community, quality of workmanship being poor and then the sales manager response to us at the beginning. This has been the worst home purchase we have ever made. Follow up this far except Pablo has been poor also. If we had to do it over again we would have paid our movers to provide longer storage and found somewhere else. Lender was not responsive. After the builder ensured us that all of the items on our inspection was complete as well as the items we marked with blue tape, we found several items were still not completed and even noticed quite a few pieces of blue tape were still present at the home delivery meeting. We also had a leak in our brand new roof and a sewer gas smell that took almost a month to resolve.

The cabinet is very low quality compare to what the rep told me i will received

The house is supposed to be new and without problems, on December 9 I did the closing and there were some things to fix. The engineer in charge of the house promised that he would fix the house in a matter of weeks, as of today, January 31, the house remains the same and both the engineer and the customer service person are still missing without letting me know when they are going to fix it. the problems that the house has. I would not suggest a Lennar home to anyone. There is no quality in our Lennar home. The shoddy work, incompleted work, no attention to detail, horrible mistakes that were left, horrible painting job, etc. I can go on and on. #donotbuyLennar is what I plan to go viral with. I have nails coming out of the stairs (that I stepped on), nails coming through cabinets (that I've cut my finger on). The lack of attention to detail is horrible. I need to put a sign in my front yard to warn potential buyers to stay away from Lennar. Everyone I speak with who are looking for a new construction, I advise them of the horrible home I am dealing with. I absolutely would not recommend a Lennar home to anyone; and Lennar should be ashamed of themselves for allowing contractors to do the shoddy work. I am definitely going to use my new as a resource for others to NOT buy Lennar. It's sad that I have crooked walls, places where the structure does not even meet, poor quality of painting, work left incomplete, the sloppiness, cutting corners, using bad products - again, I can go on and on. Lennars home buying experience is horrific. From the lies that the manipulative realtors spew, to the horrible workmanship. Their goal of Lennar is to only complete a house to 90%before closing. Punch lists are never completed. Extremely manipulative to women. Take total advantage of. Do not buy a Lennar home.

My experience with Lennar has been quite disappointing. Despite being promised that all pending tasks would be completed prior to closing, several important items were left unfinished. They were in a rush to close all the homes by November and there was no focus on completing the work before closing. The closet doors were not fixed, shower rods were not installed, the painting was not done to a satisfactory standard, and there were drywall cracks and partially painted lanai door. I would not recommend purchasing a home from Lennar. They did not demonstrate a customer-centric approach and their responsiveness declined once the closing was completed. Despite repeated attempts to follow up on the unresolved issues, the builder seemed disinterested in resolving the matter. I strongly advise against purchasing a home from Lennar. It may cost a bit more, but it would be worth considering other builders such as MI Homes or Pulte Homes. It is important to thoroughly research the options and make an informed decision before entering into a deal with Lennar. ... More

Quality and Customer service Sucks. Wish i could Rate NEGATIVE

Too many negative things to list them all. Constant delays and lies. Quality is so bad I would never buy a Lennar home again.

Dont buy from Lennar, EVER! They are cheapskates who cant do anything right, force you into closing early with promises of fixing things, but do not deliver. The material is cheap, the labor is crap, the multiple mistakes due to their cheap laborers is absolutely horrible. The home is not worth the price they charge AT ALL! I could have done a better job than their day laborers. Their construction manager Derrick clearly has no idea how to do his job or how to manage his workers to make sure they do it right. We have had nothing, but issues and we have only been in the home a month. The padding between townhomes walls is not enough, the padding under the carpet is none existent. We can hear everything! There is no sound proofing whatsoever, its like living in an apt again. The paint mistakes, the caulking missed, the leaking windows, tile floors installed incorrectly, the broken cabinets, and these are some of the issues we have that have yet to be fixed, The sales people have no idea what they are selling. No one in this organization communicates with anyone else. Sales people promise one thing, but that is clearly not what is done. Lennar has been a nightmare from day one. I was threatened with taking my retirement to a large fine if I didn't close when Lennar wanted to close. On the day of closing Lennar was not ready and the unit was certainly not completed. I closed on Dec 5, 2022 and as of today Jan 25,2023 I still cannot move my belongings in because the doors and windows still will not lock/open. I have contacted and have been promised by many of Lennar people and still no resolution. I have had to pay an additional $1000 for storage because I cannot move in my condo. I have other issues such as the front entrance floods due to sidewalk not slanted properly, my vanity doors are damaged. I would not refer Lennar to anyone and if something isn't done soon I may consider calling the media. This is ridiculous and shameful that a company can operate in this manner. ... More

House was a mess when we moved in. Walls needed repainting and when they repainted the workers got paint on carpet, tile, everything and it is not cleaned up yet. Our A/C has gone out 3 times and is still not fixed. No one from Lennar follows up when work order is put in. Finally, the HOA is charging us a late fee because Lennars title company sent them a faded check that HOA could not cash and cannot get a hold of the title company to cut a new check. I would not recommend to anyone to deal with Lennar.

I am not happy with the LENNAR. We had hard time with this purchase with Lennar. Specially the loan officer. He provided the incorrect information in disclosure. And he blamed us not reviewing the document. And later for another disclosure he did mistake on estimated closing cost and we I had to dig into email to prove he did mistake as the disclosure does not matching with what he said to us over the email. I am very upset with the response I have received from Lennar.

Lennar couldn’t get our house done by closing on Dec.28 so they pushed it to Jan16. Home is still not finished! We settled for a Lennar home in a different area of town. The experience has been horrible. We can’t even get the warranty people out to patch up the things that were pointed out on our walkthrough before closing. I don’t recommend buying.

Horrible quality. I regret everything. They told us SO MANY LIES. I feel like a lawsuit is in our near future.

House quality fell short. Building timeline was continually pushed back because of labor shortages. Over priced home with no input from consumer. Lennar took advantage of inventory shortage and watered down its brand for the sake of a dollar. I real shame.

Lennar is too big and has lost sight of the customer. Homebuying processes were very difficult to navigate and communication from Lennar departments was seriously lacking and very frustrating. Pre-close walk-thru was very rushed and buyers are threatened if talk of delaying closing occurs...even when the home is not complete. Quality/workmanship is seriously lacking and below anything I've ever experienced; door-frames are not square (binding doors), cabinet doors are not straight/aligned, appliances don't work, and several other issues). I would never recommend a Lennar home to anyone and will purchase my next new-construction home from anyone but Lennar. ... More

BAD COMPANY AND STAFF

The homebuying experience has been less than ideal. From putting in an offer on the house being told last minute that I can’t close due to a quote on quote SHA policy until my family member outlined the FHA guidelines did the sales team change their tune. The lender that was referred by Lennar again not great. I asked multiple times during the process for additional review of my good faith estimate, and was told I had to get back with the sales agent who never returned my emails. Chris who is on the construction side has been the only person to follow up and show any type of customer service. I did not close on my loan until November 30 after 10 PM after I demanded a mobile notary to come to my house due to the hick up with Lennar ‘s closing department. I was asked for the same document multiple times causing tons of stress for a newly divorced homeowner. The customer service with Lennar is by far the worst I’ve ever experience. This is my fifth home purchasing and I have never been treated so poorly the day of closing I did not even get the full experience as other homeowners with the red carpet roll out or even the banner and balloons. I notated the condition of my cabinets prior to moving into the house and here we are now at the end of January, and I’m being told my cabinets will not be fixed until May. The paneling of the cabinets are pilling off one of the actual doors is completely off the hinges, broken cabinetry in the kitchen and nothings been done to expedite this. Furthermore, I have not been able to hang up any clothes in my closet as my comply closet is completely broken and that was also outlined prior to closing. My backyard is a complete utter mess with holding water everywhere. I would like to have the great customer service. This is our third new home and has definitely been the worst of all three. The craftsmanship and details are lacking. The response from Lennar has been lacking and when they do respond, they say it isn’t covered or need to call another company.

The closing process was a disaster. The house was not complete by the closing. I moved in 2 months ago and still trying to get things fixed that were noticed at the walk through prior to close. I have been disappointed at every step of this process.

Home wasn’t ready when promised. Allowed to close without CO. Had to go to hotel. Oven didn’t fit. No kitchen for 3 weeks. Cabinets broken. House was dirty. Floor wasn’t laid level. Bumps and hills throughout. Hollow tiles throughout. Upstairs creeks. Grout not straight and spilled throughout the home. Doors not level. Stairs rails not secured. Grout accidentally used in stead of caulking. Made promises to have things done but almost 8 weeks and punch list still not done. Not even paint. Trades make appointments but never show. If we could get our money back we would move out. No one is happy in our neighborhood. Workmanship is laughable. Trades have stated they are pushed too hard and cant do quality work. NIGHTMARE. ... My experience with Lennar has been horrible.. Since day one I wanted to buy a house with a loan and the person a spoke to thought it was cash and obviously they waited until closing day to contact me and that was a huge problem.. going from buying cash to a loan and I almost lost my deposite which is 10% of the house values ( crazy) if this was my first house I would never want to go through that also because Lennar people are not helpful at all.. honestly I don’t have time to do this but I do not recommend friends or family to buy from Lennar.. I do have experience with Dr Horton and they’re great from costumer service, they help and guide costumer so well something that lennar doesn’t do ohhhh and they don’t keep your money if something goes wrong with the loan/house and you guys take peoples savings with no remorse.. there’s so many things that I would love to say here but don’t have the time to be typing.. So I finally got my house with a lot of problems and needed something to be fix right away and I was told that wasn’t lennars problem and then I was told to contact John buscemi which he doesn’t answer his phone or reply to emails.
