If I could give no stars I would. From the second we filled out an application, the rest of the process went lower than rock bottom. We spoke to our finance person (Mary Jo) ONE time and that was after calling/emailing numerous times. I finally reached out to Ali (man in the model home) letting him know that we have been trying to get ahold of her with no call back. Workmanship is inferior and many of the materials that were used should never have been used. I’ve been in my house for only 2 months and already considering selling it.

The reason my husband and I chose Lennar for our recent home purchase in Inman SC was based on a prior experience with purchasing a Lennar home in Summerville SC in 2017. Every person we interacted with back then was sincere, thorough and pleasant. It was such a smooth process. Our experience this go around has been the opposite. This was our first new build experience with Lennar and will probably be our last. 1) The salesperson, while initially helpful, friendly, and professional during the sales process, was not very helpful after we were pressured to close before the house was finished. He made a LOT of promises to follow up on punch list items immediately within two weeks during the final walk-through and then essentially washed his hands after we closed on November 30th. The walkthrough was a joke. Chris didn't want to be there and it showed. He explained nothing. All of the issues could have and should have been addressed before the walk through. It was left with you have a year to find all other issues. We have been without the original garbage disposal for over 2 weeks now. As far as the builder is concerned I don't have a garbage disposal. Very expensive house not worth the money. Lennar give you incomplete house. My house was with no gutters and took them 6 to 7 weeks to install gutters. Garage door still missing side trim. Horrible electricity, when plugged any device it tripped the circuit breaker. Windows are not soundproof. Bad window screens can’t pull up or has no pull tabs. Doors are defected. I am a repeat customer with Lennar. Technically I purchased with Cal Atlantic my first home and about a month before closing, Lennar took over. However, my home stayed with Cal Atlantic team until closed and it was a wonderful experience from beginning to finish. The Cal Atlantic sales team was thorough and welcoming and even met me on the day of move in to walk my home. I never put in a single work order. We almost pulled out of the purchase after we were misled on closing dates and the reason why our home was delayed. The project was poorly managed and the builder tried to blame the utility company but the truth was Lennar failed to secure a timely building inspection. The only positive I've had throughout my experience is with my Sales Consultant Joe Casinguay. The Construction side of Lennar is Horrible! Communication, Quality of Construction, Integrity, Pride is workmanship from their Trades is nonexistent! My first new construction experience and I will not do it again unless I'm my own General contractor. This was the most unorganized build I have ever had. I used Lennar mortgage and title, thinking it would help communications. However, none of them seemed to communicate nor even know what the other was doing. I had unbelievable issues at every step. We have been given 6 different closing periods. We finally closed after being offered an incentive because you needed to close out their year end books.
