The worst experience one can have, bought this house for more than $1M and the quality of the house is extremely low. The customer service and warranty services are disaster, vendors takes months and months to even address the issues those have posted even prior to closing the escrow. I have purchased houses through other builders and I could see a big difference in the quality. If you can't make it right in the first place then at least try to be customer obsession and insisting on the higher standard but providing great customer service to make it out as warranties. Overall sales process was a chaotic experience including the walk thru process. Then after move-in, we uncovered many defects/poor quality workmanship. Management should help address reported issues in a timely manner. Lack of responsiveness from warranty/maintenance team.

The quality of the house is very very low. It was my second home purchase and found very low quality material and definitely used unprofessional labor to construct these houses. During my orientation I put correction items, but guess how much additional correctional items they added. The construction manager is just in a rush to get it over than releasing a quality product. I find huge number of issues on daily basis and have to keep raising tickets which is really overhead for me.

Quality of the build is much worse than a few years ago; pressured into closing even when home had many unfinished or damaged parts such as no mirrors/ shelves and broken windows and cabinets. After closing, very hard to get a timely response on warranty request to fix the problems. Would not buy another Lennar home again

During the buying process we never received updates from the building manager, although we were promised that we would receive weekly updates. At the initial walk-through, there was a long list of punch items to be done. We were promised they would be done by the closing the following Wednesday, when we arrived at the closing walk-through 90% of items were still incomplete, including zero appliances. Construction Supt, Jon Pervain, throws together a home and then does a lousy job of correcting the many problems that his operating standard generates. Big difference between this house and the Lennar home we bought in Terra Vista about 14 years ago!

We were out of state buyers. I wouldn’t recommend using Lennar if you are in a similar situation. They are not equipped to handle you properly.

I really hate to speak poorly of any company but I do wish that someone has warned me about Lennar. They are a big company building lots of houses and it’s easy to get lost. They have lots of small divisions each of which own an element of your selling/building/closing experience. It was really hard to know who to call for what or how to get updates (we lived out of state). The final walk through and resolution of outstanding issues was terrible! I can’t recommend them in good conscience.

The model home (McGinnis) and our builder rep (Suzette) brought my wife and i to grow fond of Lennar. We had a great first impression however, soon after little things start to make one see it’s not that great. The process and stages of building the home are subpar at best. The trades are awful. Lennar’s business model is flawed. To allow a customer to watch and entire house built from the ground up and not allow them to meet their general contractor to discuss building issues is a complete lack of care for any customer relations. Still waiting for plenty of work to be done that is supposed to be under warranty. We closed on our home on Aug.29th,2022, and still not 1 issue has been taken care of. My experience from start to competition was not experience I ever want again. When buying a home for 1/2 million dollars, You expect it to be finished before being pushed into closing. As for items not completed. Light in master toilet, Broken bricks summer kitchen wall, Electrical panel wrongly labeled to breakers,Handles on sliders taken from show home, master bathroom cabinets in wrong location. Still waiting for laundry cabinets 7 weeks in. I certainly would not recommend Lennar to others.

We closed on our home on August 30th with three pages of items that still needed to be done on our home. Now seven weeks later, we still have atleast 2 sheets of items still not complete. There has been very little follow up. I do work from home as an real estate appraiser and realtor, but I still have appointments and things I need to do. I have had to stay home atleast 10 days for people to come do things on my home. I have also had contractors knock on my door without any advance notice given at all. As a retired building/remodeling contractor from New England, I was shocked at the poor quality of workmanship and construction oversight that went into this building. Construction flaws and short cuts were only discovered following hurricane damage that never should have happened if a better quality roof vent had been used. Because a large section of my living room ceiling fell after the insulation above was soaked due to rain pouring into these vents, I was able to see just how poorly this place was constructed. Many delays. The day of closing so many items were not finished. Was asked to sign a document that they had a final inspection but they couldn't provide a Ceretificate of Occupancy. The quality of workmanship is far below construction standards, especially for the money they are sellling these units. Punchlist was over 30 items and 2 months after closiing no attempt has been made to address them. Had to complete some of them myself in order to make the unit livable.

The only bright spot to my experience was my sales person Shawn, other than that my experience was awful. From Lenoir mortgage to the closing process to the inspection process to being forced to close without the home being completely done and still living with a huge punchlist. I will never buy from Lennar again I am also in our stockholder, and will be liquidating my stocks in the very near future. Very disappointed.

Erik the salesperson and Jaimee the site person are the only 2 Lennar people I give 5 stars. The warranty dept has been bad. The finish work is horrible. Hopefully things improve. Still no dishwasher after 6 weeks when they knew day one it had to be replaced. Hot water heater has been a problem from day one. Still don't know if you're getting a hot or cold shower. I understand the hurricane may have caused some delay, but this is ridiculous.

Waited on fixing items after closing and then informed me I had to go through the warranty side. Many items wrong are amateur items, holes in walls, paint on tile floor and rugs, knobs on kitchen cabinets don’t line up, sensors missing, openings in garage, a/c draining into the garage, weather stripping left off the external doors, house never cleaned and I could go on. Not one item has been repaired, it’s been 45 days. Talked to other owners and some of their problems are worse than mine and still waiting on repairs!

The construction manager did not closely monitor the work of any subs. They are basically just inputting requests and scheduling. The trim and painting on this house is the worst I have ever seen in new construction. Pages of followup needed.

We just purchased April 2020 and sold April 2022 a new build Lennar townhome in Prior Lake, MN, that experience was great. The attention to detail, commitment to follow here in Punta Gorda, FL is horrible. The lender was very non responsive - until I went with an outside lender, then they were in contact daily trying to get my business back. There were several problems in the house before and after closing, including shoddy workmanship and poor attention to detail. For example the house was clearly not cleaned before closing. To be fair, out of my list of about 15-20 items needing to be addressed they took care of just about everything timely and well done.
