Not flexible to any design changes. Every house is built to existing plans which cannot be changed anywhere. You must ask which plan has most of the features you want and go with it realizing you are missing a couple of features you want. Poor aspects of design and workmanship can be easily identified. The finishing of the baseboards, window sills, and doors were so bad we made them do over. The repainting the trim was worse than the original so we ended up sanding everything down and we repainted ourselves. I am still missing my kitchen drawers. It is almost 2 months. I hope I get my cabinet drawers in before Easter.

I did not have a good experience with this company. It started out great. Danielle, Doug and Alex was awesome. I had a huge problem with Amy my loan processor. I was starting to think I was discriminated against. Overall, we finally got the kinks worked out. I would not recommend Lennar Mortgage to anyone. I am missing 2 of my cabinet drawers. My outlets in bathrooms do not work. I will reach out to Alex about this problem. My floor baseboard in Master bedroom is still noisy after my home inspector noted it in the report. They were supposed to fix it.

The house quality is very different with the model homes. I spoke directly with the site building manager and he said this is Lennar standard quality. He said that just to not wanting to make corrections to poor built quality workmanship and not wanted to hear from the buyer. It seems like Lennar hired a group of builders off the streets and gave them the projects. I have seen many Lennar model homes but none look like the one that i purchased. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Lack of quality control and resolution of issues

The overall buying process was relatively simple. The complexity comes when the workmanship and quality comes into play. Lack of attention to detail - not a lot of pride in workmanship. Outstanding issues from Settlement are taking months to get resolved. I'm hearing the same thing from other home owners as well. If you are able, I'd recommend not completing settlement until the issues are resolved unless you want workers in and out of your house for months.

Disappointing

Delay is build may be common for builder, but that cost buyer a higher mortgage rate. That is not it, if house is closed with pending lawn work money to be deposited to escrow is buyer responsibility if buyer don't go with builder recommended lender, so kind of CHEAP trap.

Lennar - Lots of issues after we moved in.

Lots of issues after we moved in. Missing products, broken items. Caused us money and no one would come to fix them. We were able to reach our service rep and submit service requests. Yet no one would actually come and fix the issue. It has been two months since we moved in. Nothing got fixed yet. I would not recommend Lennar to anyone.

Lennar - Would not recommend Lennar to anyone.

Would not recommend Lennar to anyone. The workmanship is very very poor. There are countless errors that need repairs. The same repairs are having to be completed multiple times due to poor work. There is a lack of communication within the contractors. Workers will come to my home, and not know why they are there. There are paint stains on flooring and carpet. It’s also very hard to get responses from employees with Lennar. Overall, I definitely would not recommend Lennar. The experience has been a complete headache.

Horrendous quality control and poor craftsmanship

We have had a very poor experience with buying our new home. On our final walk through we still had significant issues with crooked walls, terrible paint/mud/taping. We walked through the house with the teams multiple times pointing out the issues, and they were attempted to be fixed multiple times but still the same bad quality. Finally the crews were changed but we still had to take matters into our own hands and attempt to repair problematic areas ourselves. This resulted in finding slanted framing and exposed electrical. Any man I that we needed help from or talked with except Matt will never get a good review from us. We were lied to by these men and I don’t feel they can be trusted.

First Time Home Buyer - Would not use LENNAR every again.

When expressing my concerns to builder, they just laughed and ignored the concerns. The builder repeatedly and intentionally stalled providing some key details (especially purchase price) so that they could drive the purchase price up ~$60,000 in 4 months). The quality of workmanship leaves something to be desired (things are already breaking after only 3 months in the home). The builder is unresponsive to requests to correct issues (still waiting for a blind rod to open/close blinds; still waiting for deck stairs to be fully finished (missing side trim) after 3 months

Our Customer Care representative is combative and her immediate response whenever we need to put a ticket in is “no”. She always gives push back for everything. To the point where we have to send her VIDEOS of things that aren’t working. Her latest rebuttal was that she could only send an electrician out to check why our master bedroom light switches weren’t working IF we uninstalled the fan. I am not paying an electrician to uninstall and then reinstall a fan for Lennar yo do their JOB. Yomaris, the customer care rep is less than helpful. While the house was completed, due to the rush the house has so many issues. The lack of response from Lennar is insane. I have people showing up with no prior warning, its been over a month and problems just keep arising. We pointed out things during final inspection in Dec that still are not repaired. My cabinets need repair and they want to come in 6 months to repair them? My breakers were tripping, down the towel holder falling and need to be repaired twice. The paint job looks like my teenager did it. The list just keeps going.

Overall the buying experience wasn't as bad. My issues started with the home inspection after the build and then after I was told that all repairs had been taken care off which was not the case once I had closed. Make sure you are detailed on the home inspections, some of the materials used, specially for all the cabinetry are what I consider very low quality. From talking to my neighbors, it appears that the builder had many homes with the same issues within the neighborhood which shows either a lack of quality control and/or using sub par contractors.
