Regardless of the fact that this is a "production home", quality of workmanship should be MUCH better, no matter the cost

Lennar, the worst nightmare for home buyers! Beware!

It started out with the broken promises from sale people, managers to tittle. Lennar cheated in every step and trained their personnel to be as tricky as possible. I did not expect a high quality home when purchasing three of them at the same time, but these Lennar products were poorly designed and horrible built. When I pointed out the problems before the closing, they blocked my phone number and never addressed the problems.the vinyl flooring has large gaps, ceiling corners cracked wide open, it look like the house had been thought an earthquake! Lennar installed an empty wall box in the ...

Wanted to buy a lennar for the lower interest rate for VA loans. But the mortgage company kept changing the requirement until the day we closed make me watch and constantly find paper work for a month. Blue tape inspection went ok they did fix at the cosmetic flaws but fixed the major ones then the sewer system back up on day 3 or being in the house lennar was quick to get it fixed but it still took a day. Having back up sewer in my house.

The People of Lennar have been a joy to work with while I believe the structure of, and the layers contained within, the Lennar organization could use some simplification by way of consolidation, especially when it comes to documentation and processes and communication. Although I can appreciate the need for divisions of responsibilities and authority, making sure that all of that is defined and communicated upfront while also being re-established and communicated throughout the engagement is important and tantamount to a clear, smooth and stress free understanding and journey. Keep ...

Love the home but could use a little more quality control

The over all experience is great and the house is wonderful. Since this is my first house and as we have been getting to know it better. We have found little discrepancies that could have been caught while the build was going on. I know we have a year to have things fixed but it would have been nice NOT to have anything to fix too. Again, new home and first time home buyer so maybe I am being a little over methodical but then again we are spending a lot of money on our home so things should be what you want them to be.

Hi there. My wife and I purchased on October 28th 2025. House looks beautiful but we won't be in it fully until 2029. Can't give much of a review right now, but a big shout out to Samantha, project manager. She has been fantastic. Chris

High pressure from sales. Had to push back to get time to read the many documents. That became a trend throughout the whole process. After the decisions were made it was revealed that the pressure and deadlines were made up. Assurances made were fast and loose. Not all of them panned out. Finance was a mixed bag. The loan officer was knowledgeable and responsive. One of his team members wasn’t handling our communication properly but she was replaced with a much better one upon request. We’re satisfied with the loan terms. The quality of the workmanship in the house is well below ...

New home concierge was worthless

After we went into contract we were assigned a new home concierge to guide us through the rest of the process. She was impossible to get a hold of. Never answered the phone or returned messages. Unresponsive to texts and r-mails. We got wrong information about utility companies, wrong names wrong phone numbers. It was like pulling teeth to get info about trash pickup. We got the wrong info on mail keys. Had to ask repeatedly for the promised paint coupon. Overall the part after contract was a disaster.

For the most part buying my townhouse was great. It happened much quicker than I was expecting but the price was right and I loved the community. However the deal almost fell through because their coordinator Maggie didn't communicate with anyone and yet everything hindged on her communication. I was left scrambling to make the deal work, but it got done and Earl made sure that it did. He really helped me by stepping in and helping to move things along. Now I are in the place and very happy.

We have been in our home for a little over 30 days and we have had to call warranty on a few things, however the builder is nice and will come fix what needs to be fixed. Its a little disappointing with some of the workmanship as the workers had urinated in the tub while it was being built. We ended up getting that replaced before we closed. This is a starter home for my husband and I and overall it has been an ok process, but some things need improvement with the build process.

The whole experience was horrible. From the loan application to the walk-through. The company in my view cuts corners in their building. Not transparent about the HOA and what the HOA requires. Such as having to submit an application for landscaping. It’ felt like to me that Lennar is all about selling a house. Not providing transparency. For the amount you pay for the house you should get transparency with value. Was disappointed throughout the whole process. If I could do it all over again I would have passed on Lennar. That being said the company needs to work on the process being less ...
