I would never buy another Lennar home. I have owned in communities. But this experience has been unimaginably horrible. I have a serious constructionissue with the house. I’m getting the runaround. The solution has been approved three separate times but the materials never get ordered so I have to keep starting over. The first day didn't go too bad. Met with someone in the sales office. All he did was spend 5 min telling me which houses I could look at and gave me a map. I went and found them on my own. Everyone understands that purchasing a new home can be more than more stressful things you do. The lack of responses from the mortgage team is very poor. Creating more stress for the family. There has been multiple issues with the home. The floors still look terrible. There are multiple areas in all the rooms where you can see the layer of cement still on the tiles. Lennar mortgage is the worst. I have been an owner for 2 months. I sent my 1st payment as instructed and they have sent me 2 late notices. Although they cashed my check 10 days before the due date. 3 times I called to get verification and acknowlement. Waiting for a call back from a "supervisor ". Waiting over 40 minutes each time on hold Waiting for a reply. They were disorganized from the start. Nonody at their company wants to talk via the phone. They sold my loan already and still can't get answers from either company. They have made my brand new purchase a disappointing experience.

I was unable to close on the home I originally had built due to the home not being completed on time and several building issues including but not limited to water damage in every room and a large crack in the foundation that extended across the garage floor. I had to closed on a different home which I am now finding issues with.

This is the WORST house purchase I have experienced. This is a DIY loan and home purchase. There is NO personal contact - everything is done with text, email & e-docs. I was scheduled to close on Dec 9 but because the title wasn’t transferred I closed on Dec 23rd and I was not compensated for all my expenses I paid.

The buying experience was awful, salesperson was not very helpful. No communication during the construction process at all. No clue what was going on and no questions answered. I spent a lot of money on a house and no one at Lennar cared for quality and craftsmanship. Why not spent a little more money on quality materials so the homeowner can move into a quality built house (ex. hurricane windows and doors in the entire house except front door glass, why?).

I have very bad experience with Lennar new house quality and workmanship. Before clossing and after there are few major leakage on Lennar new house due to bad workmanship. Builder didnt share all the details of the property. After closing it has been 2 months and still didnt had mail box keys. Never this was disclosed till we close the home. No ETA for building swimming pool and cabanas that are in plan.. But still have to pay the full HOA amount which covers these maintenance costs. Overall I felt, chaulking is not done properly and when asked, the response is, it is standard. Have to escalate above some members I am interacting to get things done. Overall it left a very bad taste with this purchase experience.

Lennar required me to use their mortgage company even though I had negotiated in the contract to use my own mortgage company. If I used my mortgage company, Lennar would not honor the contract by rescinding the negotiated $17k in Seller Concessions, or would cancel the contract and keep my $30k in Earnest Money. One month late, Lennar Mortgage finally got loan approval. But they wanted $10k extra in loan costs. Probably the worst construction company I’ve worked with. False promises and poor construction quality. Promised us few things when signing the contract which were later modified to cheaper options / alternatives. We paid million dollars for this home and the quality and build materials are the cheapest ones on the market. Price gouging everywhere possible while not even providing bare minimum quality. False promises as well. Will never ever buy a Lennar home or recommend to any of my friends and family. You lost a customer.
