We have had a terrible time with our whole building process. We were lied to from day one about what we could choose, lied to about availability of items, gas lit for every explanation, and the entire construction team has been condescending and belligerent. We have had to go all the way to the VP for every issue in order to actually get it addressed. The quality of workmanship and craftmanship is abhorrent. The amount of items that Lennar tries to pass off as "normal" or "good", that are actually sub par, barely to code, not to code, not straight, and downright poorly fabricated is ...

Terrible experience!!! The Lennar Team had terrible communication. My closing was pushed back several time. On closing day there was still a number of items not completed. From front office, to construction, to warranty. This Lennar Team here is TERRIBLE!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE HOUSE.

Builder you shouldn’t trust

I am a new home owner in Autumn Vista community. Closed home in July 2022. First construction was delayed by 1 month. Next, home orientation date wasn’t flexible at all. We had to take online orientation where we missed several things to inspect like there was a chip in the flooring, the main door won’t lock without a struggle. Lennar just fixed the flooring and no date on when they will fix the main door. The promised AC unit wasn’t provided still as I write this review. Bullied Into Closing

The Lennar sales team was terrible throughout the entire buying process. Our home closed 5 months after initial projection. This, while frustrating, is understandable given the issues businesses are facing right now. What isn't understandable is the complete dearth of information and even general communication from beginning to end. No explanations were given besides "supply chain issues" and that was when we could get an answer at all. Worse experience in my life. Lennar has different departments and they don’t communicate with each other. Zach the sales spokesperson for the area was useless, couldn’t be found no text, or call. I seen him only one time out of 5 months. He was always off or on vacation. No help. The builder hired bad contractors to do the plumbing and had multiple leaks that needed to be correct before closing. The cleaning people flooded my house because the builders didn’t tell them they haven’t completed a flow test yet. I bought a Lennar (New Home) in 2004 and had a very good experience, but this time we were disappointed. We chose the house because of the school. Our friends warned us about Lennar. Frustrating and disappointing process. Not happy.

Extremely disappointed with the whole process. Our sales agent was NOT responsive - it would take days and multiple outreach for them to respond. And my house was not finished and had many things wrong with it when we closed. Now I’m dealing with all the work orders and it’s very inconvenient to juggle as we work full time. Would not buy from LENNAR again.

This is the 3rd house we’ve built (1st with Lennar), and can’t believe the how little Lennar actually cares about quality of workmanship. I’m not going to list all the items as it would take too long, but major issues include roof leak, plumbing backup, not building home to plan (forgot conferred ceiling in foyer, forgot brick on column on front porch, Island installed in the wrong place, dishwasher/sink/cabinets in Island installed in the wrong orientation), and the countless other items. Terrible worst experience ever

Absolutely terrible. Haven't been in two months and we have massive cracks in the walls. The doors don't shut or latch and they have fixed them 5 times already and they still don't work. We don't have running cold water. I have called over and over and I just get the run around and nothing happens. We still have things broken from our initial walkthrough that should have been taken care of when I moved in. Ive asked to get someone else to be put on the case and nothing happens and the same guy Rene doesn't help or schedules and no one shows up. Stay away from this company.

Everything is Delayed, no internet

Once you've moved in, Lennar doesn't really care about addressing issues: 1.We have no internet service with no ETA provided despite our neighbors having service (we moved in 2 months ago). 2. I've been asked to check the box and mark requested warranty work as complete before it was finished, and it then gets ignored by the warranty team. 3. House was dirty in many areas upon move-in, and that was even with a further move-in thanks to Lennar messing up the closing date. This has been the worst decision of my life. Be careful.

This review is a redo of the previous one. The system did not like that I said the truth about the transaction. All my words were decent, grammatically correct and in formal tone. No bad words were used. Lennar is not the best company to buy a house from. They are border line on breach of contract for the product that they give. Complaints are never satisfied.

From the misinformation given to us about our purchase, by the sales associate, to the ridiculous lies told to us by the mortgage people and the astonishing lack of quality workmanship that is out into these homes I wouldn’t recommend my enemy to buy a LENNAR home! Very dissatisfied we have built 3 homes in fl and I would never buy a Lennar home again. Very poor workmanship. Totally stressed out from dealing with them. They slap their homes together and don’t care how they look.
