If you can buy with anyone else DO IT. Issues after issue, getting information/returned calls… umm yeah right. Praying on people with no knowledge of the mortgage industry and you should steer clear.

The mortgage process was onerous, horrendous and designed for Lennar, NOT the customer After holding 4 FHA mortgages, we will never do business again with Lennar NOR EVER recommend to others!! Workmanship and materials are cheaply done and poor spackling/sheetrock work and zero satisfaction to our numerous requests to FIX!! Our floors are horrendous ... they literally colored in our kitchen floor with crayon before we moved in!!! Sheetrock had to be repeatedly repaired and is STILL unacceptable! Very unprofessional and inexperienced construction managers with zero value addition or supervision. Subcontractors are all free to do or not to do what they want or not want.

We purchased a house end of May. We had 2 closing walkthroughs and put different colored painters tape up. Almost 60 days later, repairs still haven't been made. They keep telling me it will get fixed. I have spoken to 7 different representatives of the company, and my house is still in shambles. Leaky basement, dings and Knicks, walls that wave, scratches in the floor, hvac not hooked up, plus many more problems. I am surprised at how the quality of LENNAR has gone down, at the level of customer service it is a disaster and at the level of construction the people in charge seem not to be qualified for those job positions, such as the Construction manager, it is outrageous that a builder like Lennar is currently in such poor and disappointing circumstances.

Signed our first home with lot of hopes, but we had a very bad experience with Lennar team (Sales, Mortgage). We had to close the home in APR, unfortunately my father in law was passed away during that time. We had to go to our home country for his final rituals. So we have requested for reschedule the “Final closing”. They have agreed and provided the new date. When we are at “Final closing” table, they have added 1 month penalty of 2800$ for the delay. We were shocked and surprised. Then we and our realtor called the Lennar team sales person and requested explanation of this penalty. ...

Disappointed is the nicest word I can use. Maryanne in sales couldn't answer any questions; Alex in mortgage started out fine but then wouldn't respond to voicemail or emails; Title called on a Sunday night and said we had to sign on Monday (because apparently we don't have jobs or lives). Courtney who did our walk was amazing. She was proactive, thorough, and professional. Paul who met with us about our warranty was also great; very knowledgeable and helpful.

Terrible, terrible experience all around with this builder. I closed on a property by Lennar. I called the City of Dallas Water Utility service on the next business day and was told a building permit remained opened on the property. I notified the construction manager promptly as well as Lennar Warranty service, only to be told that it will be addressed on that week, then the week after, and every week I got the same story. I had to inform them that I needed to move in and gave them a few weeks to figure it out, but as long as the permit remains open the City wouldn’t allow me to establish ...

while we like the floorplan, the location of the development, and the view we have from our back lanai, the poor quality of construction, Lennar's slow response to issues and general poor attitude toward customers leaves a great deal to be desired. We cant in good conscious recommend Lennar, and sadly would suggest those looking, look elsewhere

Lennar salesman doesn’t respond after the earnest money was given. They didn’t clean at all after the home orientation. When i was there after the closing, everything was as it is when we left after orientation. Little things like pull string on the conduit was not there for utility cable to go to the security box, front and back trees were not properly dug into the ground. Some of the ring security sensors were missing. Paints on the floor and windows are not properly cleaned. They said it gonna be construction clean but not at all.Overall bad experience.

bug issue inside and outside the house

I had bug issue one month after moved in. There have been bugs in the bed daily, which is not a living situation and not able to compromise according to my tenant. It was identified as springtail came from mulch they put in the front yard. Although those area are covered by HOA, but as a matter of fact, those mulch were put in by the builder. We would never purchase a Lennar home after our experience. The process was rushed. At our walk throughs most items were not addressed. The overall craftsmanship of these homes is very poor and disappointing. We keep unveiling issues, and the contractors used for the warranty have all been low quality. Basically they are trying to put bandaids over everything rather than fixing the issue. Everything about this house is just sloppy.

What is suppose to be a great home buying experience has definately been extremely horrible, since the beginning from the loan to moving in. Problem after problem with a BRAND NEW home. My 2nd Lennar home. What a huge (bad) difference in build quality and materials compared to first home. No gutters. No sprinkler system. Side boards are very soft, dry wall very soft. Paint is very bright white. Counter top is nice but very cheap because it stains quickly. Bathroom faucets are the cheapest on the market, same goes for the sink. Had electrical issue first week, service request put me on a viral call (the construction manager assisted with the issue, it was a wiring issue). Had a mouse get in the garage the first week because they left a open space under the water heater. ...

The "Lennar Experience" is an absolute joke. I knew what I was getting into with a cookie cutter new build but I was not expecting the process and employees to be the worst part of the whole experience. If I could do it again I would run away. Our CM, Tate, was an absolute disaster and was more worried telling me about some facebook group that complains about him then actually fixing problems we pointed out at 3 different walk throughs. The fact he still has a job shows Lennar has zero care about quality and just pumps them out. Since moving in a few months ago we have had over 10 different ...

I have serious concern on price transparency and also the structure and material used . The garage does not have proper structure to park two cars. The stairs from the garage to the main floor is quite elongated. No washer and drawer are included in that package while this was known but when compared with other property seller near by there are better deal available. I don’t think I’m gonnna recommended Lennar to anyone.

Very poor quality. They show you a model home, then drop the bomb on you, it don't come with this and that, bait and switch. Put cabinets in with NO knobs to open them with. Much much more.

Only person that was phenomenal was the loan officer, Amy, her response to all questions and all concerns were answered promptly as far as construction and sales. Their attention and response was absolutely horrifying and I would never purchase a home from Leonard again, nor would I recommend anyone to my family or my s purchase from Lennar
