The build of the house is amazing. The construction manager and employees are awesome. The realtor we were in contact with from Lennar was so helpful. Our lender with Lennar was awful. Communication didn’t exist with her. Would no recommend using Lennar lender to anyone.

I have purchased Lennar Homes in the past (Cal-Atlantic/Ryland Homes) by far this was the worst home buying experience. If it wasn't for the lot size and location, I should have gone with one of the other builders in the neighborhood (Stanley Martin or Providence Homes). The sales experience was terrible both salespeople were not on the same page and took a long time to get a response back. As far as the builder and follow up person they were great and overworked because they had a lot of building going on, but when I was able to speak with them they were able to respond to my questions. ...

3rd still not happy

I don't think Lennar is in sink with all of there offices. whey will call you for closing when the home is not ready. if you give then 10 week heads up that you will be on Military orders they don't care and still set you up to close that day even if the home is not done. I think the next time we start looking for a new home we will start by looking for a new builder.

Overall exterior and interior trim work was extremely poor massive amounts of caulk used to close poor craftsmanship / millwork. MI windows are falling a part - they will all need to be replaced within 12/15 years.

We had a high pressure, rushed homebuying experience with Lennar.

We had a bad experience buying a home with Lennar. We felt rushed and pressured to purchase our home, while we were on vacation, otherwise Lennar stated that they would remove the incentives offered to us. We continually were referred to different people for every little detail. There was no one consistently available for us to discuss issues with. Everything had to be documented by email, as several people would not speak on the phone! Even now, 7 weeks following our purchase, I am unable to get answers to simple questions concerning our home! The loan/underwriting process was the most demanding and intensive process I've ever been through AND this is my third home to own. They needed so many documents that had me questioning, "Why do they need this?" I'm telling folks not to purchase a Lennar.

Do not purchase a Lennar. The loan/underwriting process was very intense. Also, make sure you know what you are NOT getting before you move into your home. They focus on what it includes, but don't tell you what you are not getting. For example: Refrigerator, back door blinds, bathroom shower racks, shower curtain rods, DOOR BELL, washer and dryer (may sure to check the connections) guest bedroom closet lights. I wouldn't do this again.....

Communication from loan officer was awful. When concern were brought up we received bare minimum responses. When the idea was brought up to switch lenders, loan officer became defensive and threatened to just cancel everything instead of trying to work it out. Terrible process of buying. The home has been great so far.

The process started out good, we were working with Ali initially. They transferred out case to Heather H. And everything fell apart. She continually called to ask fir documents that were sent 2 to 3 times already, still I was patient, until she contacted us on the day of closing asking for paystubs and w2's. Now keep in mind these documents were sent at the very beginning of this process. I asked her if this was normal to ask for these things on day of closing. The experience was not pleasant it was a lot of balls drop during the process a lot of back and forth a lot of being lied to. A lot of unnecessary spending and a lot of unanswered questions or just being ignored. Communication was terrible. Would never buy from them again

The representatives at the Lennar office for Eastland Crandall showed little effort in assisting, and their response time to emails and texts was disappointing. Also, discrepancy between the website listing and actual appliances.

We went with Lennar because we got more bang for our buck. However, it came with a price. Read below. The sales guy was our first interaction with Lennar. He was very condescending and not very responsive most times. He always seized the opportunity to say something condescending. The entire process using the internet and “portal” was a nightmare for this Baby Boomer! Everyone I encountered assumed I knew how to navigate, upload, download, scan, import to a file - and I still don’t! AND - I didn’t have a computer or the internet, so this experience left me with a bad impression of Lennar. I was treated like an absolute moron because I didn’t understand how to present documents or find one to sign!!!! Honest experience as a first time home buyer. Lennar is only great front facing surface level. They sell you well and are responsive only in the selling phase. The second I paid my deposit and they secured my payment, they basically were unresponsive. We had to proof various documents - a lot of the info was wrong. The lender leading up to the closing date was the worst experience. I would never use Lennar as a lender. I had to get a backup loan because so many mistakes their officers made. The loan officer and processor didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Once we got the house we needed so many repairs, they are building so fast they make so many building mistakes , crooked walls leaks. The only positive experience has been with kristine she handles all the repairs and issues after move in.

This is my third lennar home. I have referred many friends and family to this builder and will never again and will never purchase from lennar again. The sales department doesn’t care about customers and just cares about numbers. I will say the team that actually addresses issues after your purchase with repairs to your home have been pleasant and responsive. We encountered poor communication all the way around during the closing process. The closing coordinator scheduled a “walk-through”, and scheduled it for the wrong time/date. We arrived as told to, and there was no-one there. The follow up was absolutely horrid. The home was NOT ready to close.
