First our closing process was the most stressful and unprofessional as you can experience. Pushed , delayed, communication was poor and even threatened to lose our house . Wouldn't lock us in till 2 weeks before close with very little notice , tried to jack our rates up . Building process was same , using subcontractors with poor work inside and out. And been a nightmare getting fixed , tried to force DocuSign without completing work. NOT EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED as lennar states, they changed our wall color with no choice but accept. No warranty for landscaping at all , paint is sloppy , ...

There is nothing about the house that says "NEW"

There are more than 150 blue tape markers covering everything from numerous uneven floor tiles, gaping at every door frame and baseboard joint, broken window frames, window panes without gas revealing moisture, roof has more than a dozen non-matching tiles replaced before possession, two very visible and disturbing depressions in the roof giving a wave-like image to the tiles, concrete and stucco splashed over window & door frames, the home was not properly cleaned following construction, entry door step plates are dented, scratched and appear to be borrowed from a warehouse, exterior paint ...

Lack of communication, lennar mortgage will not lock rates in advance, prior to closing service is bad enough imagine once you closed, they don’t care, i put 3 tickets for same work and it’s still not done. Don’t blame the people who works at lennar I blame the system they have in placed, most employees

Lennar have no integrity. I still have issues with blue tape. Submit work orders and they are closed without being done. I will not recommend Lennar at all. From the sales representative (Jeannette Beltran)to, the person I did the new home orientation (Annisa) to the Construction Man. (Chris) no integrity, don't solve your issues. Rick is another one that keep calling me to make appointments and mever show up to fix the work orders. Lennar is a circus

I am very disappointed with all processes that I have been engaged in. I secured a mortgage with Lennar only to have this company break every law and promise to my wife and I. I have spent hours looking up previous reviews and on-going issues and they are not good! I am going to make a highly recommendation that this company should be investigated.

Home building process not done in correct order causing more work appearance problems. Paint on driveway and patio pavers, paint drips on floors and walls, texture sprayed on our kitchen cabinets, no power to one of our bedrooms.

If at all possible stay away from a Lennar home! Very very very poor quality work, not responsive, and misleading, And if you still decide to buy from Lennar…. you best make sure you hire your own inspector!

I understand the labor and material shortage due to COVID but want get the new home completed even with delay. However, the new home has many items not finished such as the garage door. We have been forced to accept new house with many uncompleted things and defects. We have given Lennar construction supervisor a list of things need be improved but has nothing done so far.

I am having a very bad experience with getting issues corrected on a home I closed on Nov. 30th and paid way over asking price. The electrical company is yet to show up to install electrical fixtures, havent showed up 2 times already. Cabinet doors not set correctly, installed the wrong closet doors, grout in tile has all damages and dirt imbedded in it. Closet shelves are all crooked. I am very disappointed with what I am dealing with!!

Exterior and interior construction was rushed and shoddy. Construction manager and supervisor lied so much to homeowners on what they've promised they were going to do. My cabinet has a cracked before moving in September and still waiting on replacement. Still waiting on lanai to be installed as well. It's almost February now and nothing has been done. They put so many tapes to all over the house to remind them which ones needed attention and all they did was took them off. Nothing has been done. I will never reccomend Lennar. Every step of the way, we encountered issues. From the sales process, to the mortgage, to title listing the wrong fees on our CD, to having closing delayed two and a half months, no communication, they had the wrong carpet installed during our walkthrough, items listed to be fixed before closing were not, and now dealing with major issues post-closing and contractors show up whenever they want and just leave without finishing the work. Poor communication, lack of workmanship, no real customer service. They just want to move fast and get your money.

During this 6 months Journey our house practically build itself without any concerns or diligence from any of the construction managers. Outstanding issues like the shifting of our entire foundation was never even recognized unless I physically came over to the construction site and made them aware. I have worked with several other builders and this home buying experience with Lennar by far is the worst. Builder rushed closing when the house was technically not ready. Lots of issues were promised to be fixed by move-in and ended up taking over months. Severe plumbing issues were found and quality of workmanship and materials is way below standard. I will never buy another house from Lennar again.

Don’t try to buy a home around the fiscal year end or any fiscal quarter because your home will be slapped to get it off their books and try to show a good profit. So many problems from rushing through a NHO to closing that problems and issues were not fixed or prior to closing due to doing a “Pre-sign” for closing.

This is not the first time our family purchases a Lennar home which is the reason we are shocked and disappointed by the poor experience. Our home was delayed and finished months later than expected. At closing, items were not finalized. We were promised these items would be addressed in a timely matter. It has been months since closing and the customer service rep and construction manager are not responding to our inquiries as to when the “temporary items” will be finalized. Stay away from lennar, costumer service disappears the second you sign the contract. Furthermore they will lie to you about the build quality and potential issues the house might have until you have signed. Do yourself a favor and find a different builder.

It was a rough experience from the start. We had a sales man that was just that a salesman. It was tough to get updates because he has to constantly wait on someone else. It would be beneficial once locked in to be able to speak directly with the construction manager as there was a lot of inconsistencies. Even after telling them of the issues with the home early on, on the final walk through these issues were still present. The sales person that was in-charge of the Arroyo Secco section never listed was worried about getting a commission more than understand what we were looking for.
