Was left with dead SOD, every day I discover a new issue with the house. When I moved my stove there was a huge hole on the wall which I’m sure allows for uninvited guest (bugs) to make their way into the house. When we contact them for issues they don’t respond in a timely manner

Very poor quality workmanship. Built 5 homes and this is by far the worst one. Exterior painting not finished, house was dirty, electrical boxes installed with drywall screws, live wires not capped off, cracked concrete garage floor and entryway not repaired, drywall mud on woodwork and painted over, water leaking in garage. I could go on but this should give you a good idea of what to expect.

Worst home buying experience ever

I had problems from start to finish. Wrong information provided more than once during sales process. During the closing I walked who told me the closing was today. During walkthroughs before closing the repairs printed out more than half of them were not fixed. I did them myself. The construction was of poor quality and messy. I found cut wires that I had to repair. The paint overspray I took care of. Due to Lennars late delivery it looks like everything was rushed in order for them to make up the time. This is my first and last Lennar home.

I never take these surveys but always will for Lennar. Out experience has been atrociously poor. 1 star is not a low enough rating. Ridiculous amount of issues with house and horrible customer service.

After moving into my first new home, I quickly learned that I should have done much more research on homebuilders before signing the initial contract. 15 of 17 of my neighbors, myself included, who all bought brand new $400k+ townhomes, have had the WORST first home buying experience with Lennar. Starting from our unreliable and gossiping builder to the terrible corporate warranty request process and service. Hi your reps were awesome. They really helped. Truly appreciate thier help with the microwave, they went above and beyond. I want to say more about them, but I just had surgery. I have asked Lennar and the Property Management company's Raul (that Lennar contracted) about the dead shrubs, plants and trees (just as I did about the dog poo and dumpster) nothing has been done. The city was called, not only by me about the poo, but also two other owners about the dumpster and grounds. I have owned since April, I pay $150 a month, apparently to maintain a very small pool and nothing ...

Terrible quality and refusal to address issues. Construction manager is unorganized and dishonest. Closing never takes place on time; unnecessary delays due to poor management. Builder cuts corners and tries to force you to accept poor quality work. Would never recommend Lennar. Neighborhood is nice with great people, but the build was not a good experience.

Lennar builds homes fast. But without quality workmanship. Each home is u set intense pressure to build so fast lots of shortcuts and sloppy workmanship is the norm. Months after closing we are finding things that were covered up so they would close on time especially areas outside the house, like a drainage pipe covered over with sod so we had a flood. or on top of the house where vents were installed without covers and we had a leak. The fact that at closing the take $750 for future improvements does not go into the reserves to fix future hoa issues, it is pocketed by lennar. our ...

This is my first home and i must say i am disappointed in the quality of the craftsmanship. I've been in constant contact with Lennar customer service to attempt to set up repair services to fix multiple issues within my new home. Before closing i had to have the roof redone because it was not done correctly the first time. Over all i am not impressed with the quality of the work.

Issues with water bill, from excessive water use from the sprinklers. I was told the day of the original walk-thru orientation that the water will be turned down b4 my move in, it wasn’t. I have spoken to several members of the staff on the property and I can never get a straight answer. It don’t help being a disabled veteran on a set income to get stuck paying an additional $300 water bill.

From the day I bought this home it has been a disaster. On the day I bought the home they were an hour late at the title agency and didn’t even have a room for us to close in. Then we ending up closing on a fold out table with some random guy who farted in my husbands face. Then our mailbox key didn’t work for over two weeks and then they had to rekey the mailbox. I have been in my house 4 months. The dishwasher, disposal and both thermostats had to be fixed or replaced. My roof has had to be fixed as well as my gutters. I think they are terrible builders, but they have fixed the items. Just seems it would be better if they did it right the first time instead of causing all the aggravation.

Our dream home purchase was the worst purchase experience of our lives, thanks to Lennar's quite unimaginable levels of ineptitude. No commitment to quality whatsoever at any stage of construction. No apparent desire to stick to deadlines. I, the home owner, seemed to be in charge of quality control - if I didn't catch it no one did. No commitment from upper management to make things right. I would not recommend Lennar’s financing to prospective buyers. My experience with the loan process was frustrating, with numerous issues that could have been avoided. The required Letters of Explanation (LOEs) felt intrusive and unnecessary—other lenders I was working with didn’t require similar documentation. The only reason I ended up using Lennar was because I signed a disclosure agreeing not to use another lender within 30 days of closing. However, Lennar moved my closing date up by a month without providing an addendum, which added to the frustration. My dissatisfaction continued ...
