This my my 2nd Lennar purchase, 1st purchase was a great experience, after this 2nd purchase, I could not recommend Lennar Homes in DHS due to vendors/contractors and, they have really cheapened their homes products.

This is a 410k house but like 100k. Nothing is even, straight, or symmetrical. You should be ashamed of yourselves for selling this. Also, can we get a translator when someone comes to make touch ups or repairs? Soo far the communication is awful and they leave worse than it started and have no idea what we are saying. This entire house is a disappointment and until it’s fixed I’m recommending no one

I would never recommend Lennar to any home buyer. The overall experience was so poor and this is my 4th home purchase. So many things went wrong with this home purchase from day one up until the closing day. I will NEVER buy a home with Lennar again and I would NEVER recommend them.

We had so many issues but didn’t get fix at all or on time I would never recommend friends to buy Lennar home because of all cheap material and price which is not worth it compare to houses we bought previously. Still waiting for garage door to be changed , loft to get fixed , front door key not working , cheap flooring to get fixed and so many other issues.

This was my first time purchasing a home. I thought it was going to be amazing, but I would never recommend Lennar homes. I was not able to do a walk through until the morning of closing. After closing thinking the improvements would be worked on during the day after the walk through to come back at night to move in with half the house without electricity. The home was not cleaned prior to moving in. the fridge needed to be replaced thank goodness that was done, cabinets have dings in them. the tile is not leveled. there are unleveled areas of the walls. the carpets have nails sticking out of ...

Communication via lender was scares - little to none The day of closing didn’t know if I was going to close or not due to lack of communication finally 2 hours after my set closing time I got a call and they told me that they were working on it and they would let me know by 5 , 5 rolled around and still nothing. Possibly the worst experience I have ever had. It was exhausting and heartbreaking. The sales rep was unsympathetic and gaslit me multiple times before closing. When people do not care about their jobs, it truly impacts others.

The workmanship was essentially non-existent. The initial walk through was embarrassing for the Lennar employee. The number of serious issues were many. A hole in the shower stall, island counter top improperly placed and crooked, windows that wouldn't open/close properly, vinyl flooring that had to be replaced, damaged appliances, sloppy trim painting etc. Some issues have been resolved after an Regional Vice President got involved. There was very little and very poor communication during the build process. Timing estimates were impossible to get to get. The initial completion date was missed by 9+ months making it hard to arrange financing, furniture and a move in schedule. Some home features were changed or deleted during the build with no discussion with the customer. Communication overall was very poor. The Lennar contacts attitude was also poor. Don't believe any closing dates or promises made that are not in writing. I understand the supply chain and labor issues but this sale, closing and quality of product received was the worst home buying experience that I've ever had and I've had more than a few.

Before making my first payment my home had five separate issues with flooding from the main drain. !!!! Responsiveness was rated a 3 because someone from the corporate office did contact me regarding my issues and provided in writing timing of when all my repairs would get completed. Very unsatisfactory with the issues my wife and I had to deal with.

Disappointing experience

This national builder does not live up to its promises. The representatives are either lying or don’t know their business. The closing was a slapstick scene from a comedy, but we weren’t laughing. The follow up to fix outstanding items has been a nightmare. Several repairs have required multiple visits. No one from the builder will take responsibility, everyone just passes the buck. Mediocre finished product and horrid customer service from the builder.

I am extremely disappointed. At the beginning Lennar offers a paradise but after you buy from Lennar, they treat the buyer like an ignorant or even worst, they bully the clients.. Lennar products are of a terrible quality, and they don't do the repairs or acknowledge their mistake. Lennar uses the strategy of the bureaucrats, in where no one is responsible and nothing gets done. In a word Lennar is a bully company.

The builder uses low quality trades, makes numerous mistakes, and hires staff with no relevant construction experience. They fail to keep their word on basically everything, workers do not show up when scheduled, and, overall, Lennar is the McDonald’s of buying a house. Absolute garbage.

First our closing process was the most stressful and unprofessional as you can experience. Pushed , delayed, communication was poor and even threatened to lose our house . Wouldn't lock us in till 2 weeks before close with very little notice , tried to jack our rates up . Building process was same , using subcontractors with poor work inside and out. And been a nightmare getting fixed , tried to force DocuSign without completing work. NOT EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED as lennar states, they changed our wall color with no choice but accept. For a home that was over 1/2 a million dollars, the quality and craftsmanship were not there. Things never added up to what the builder was thinking from the landscaping (who puts really big trees right next to one's house and expects there not to be a problem 10 years down the road), Even the kitchen looked like someone brought in a bathroom with the subway tile backsplash in which we asked not to be put in.
