I just bought a property at lennar at Lakeland. This is the worst experience I have ever have. They took 2 months to install the motorway and shelves. The ceiling over the island kitchen is already leaking. There is water from the ceiling and leaking over the island kitchen. 2 months.

Agreed to buy home at $30k at 3.99%. The morning of closing they changed rate to 4.79%. Have made 7 warranty claims in 3 months. No windows in back of home that open. Cracks in the ceiling. The underwriting process was awful.

What an absolute nightmare of a home, DO NOT BUY! This is hands down the worst home I’ve ever been in. From the terrible experience with their mortgage team, to getting left high and dry on terrible workmanship, I absolutely do not suggest you buy a Lennar home. Everything on my house was done last minute slapped together and I’ve just taken the beating because it looked good for a solid second. Giant moat in backward won’t get fixed so I’m stuck with a huge landscaping bill. Entire house covered in huge cracks, trim separations, and nail pops which won’t be fixed because it’s “cosmetic.” ...

I FULLY REGRET MY PURCHASE. Overall the look is great, but when you look closely at the workmanship it is very shoddy. Shower stalls with tops not finished or caulked, major skips of caulking in showers, uneven & very noisy floors, steps that are slopped from boards with major cracks (which were attempted to be covered with caulking), boards cut too short and filled in spaces with caulking, first floor is VERY COLD, temperatures as low as 46 degrees, chips in all shower stall floor pans and in tub, cabinets not adjusted correctly and hit into walls & appliances, damaged appliances, ...

Let me just say the only person that helped in this whole transaction was Celia. The worst experience was Lennar Mortgage (Christina Z), will NEVER recommend this lender and especially Christina! Dave the "walk through" guy was horrible!!! We never got a proper walk, unless you call a 6 minute walk proper? We were left figuring out how to work everything and search for instructions, still don't have the a/c warranty after asking more than three times... Still going through problems from lies told by Lennar. NEVER WILL RECOMMEND THIS BUILDER/LENDER!!!!!!!

From the time we put down earnest money this has been a bad purchase. With the exception of Joey Blackledge and Pablo Berrios we have had issues. Price quoted different from price provided after we had to put down earnest money, closing delays and online closing issues, Service issues getting scheduled and call backs, the quality of the build requiring multiple service calls. Lender was not responsive. After the builder ensured us that all of the items on our inspection was complete as well as the items we marked with blue tape, we found several items were still not completed and even noticed quite a few pieces of blue tape were still present at the home delivery meeting. We also had a leak in our brand new roof and a sewer gas smell that took almost a month to resolve.

I would not suggest a Lennar home to anyone. There is no quality in our Lennar home. The shoddy work, incompleted work, no attention to detail, horrible mistakes that were left, horrible painting job, etc. I can go on and on. #donotbuyLennar is what I plan to go viral with. Lennars home buying experience is horrific. From the lies that the manipulative realtors spew, to the horrible workmanship. Their goal of Lennar is to only complete a house to 90%before closing. My experience with Lennar has been quite disappointing. Despite being promised that all pending tasks would be completed prior to closing, several important items were left unfinished. They were in a rush to close all the homes by November and there was no focus on completing the work before closing. The closet doors were not fixed, shower rods were not installed, the painting was not done to a satisfactory standard, and there were drywall cracks and partially painted lanai door. Dont buy from Lennar, EVER! They are cheapskates who cant do anything right, force you into closing early with promises of fixing things, but do not deliver. The material is cheap, the labor is crap, the multiple mistakes due to their cheap laborers is absolutely horrible. The home is not worth the price they charge AT ALL! Lennar has been a nightmare from day one. I was threatened with taking my retirement to a large fine if I didn't close when Lennar wanted to close. On the day of closing Lennar was not ready and the unit was certainly not completed. I closed on Dec 5, 2022 and as of today Jan 25,2023 I still cannot move my belongings in because the doors and windows still will not lock/open. House was a mess when we moved in. Walls needed repainting and when they repainted the workers got paint on carpet, tile, everything and it is not cleaned up yet. Our A/C has gone out 3 times and is still not fixed. No one from Lennar follows up when work order is put in. Finally, the HOA is charging us a late fee because Lennars title company sent them a faded check that HOA could not cash and cannot get a hold of the title company to cut a new check. I would not recommend to anyone to deal with Lennar.

I am not happy with the LENNAR. We had hard time with this purchase with Lennar. Specially the loan officer. He provided the incorrect information in disclosure. And he blamed us not reviewing the document. And later for another disclosure he did mistake on estimated closing cost and we I had to dig into email to prove he did mistake as the disclosure does not matching with what he said to us over the email. I am very upset with the response I have received from Lennar.

Lennar couldn’t get our house done by closing on Dec.28 so they pushed it to Jan16. Home is still not finished! We settled for a Lennar home in a different area of town. The experience has been horrible. We can’t even get the warranty people out to patch up the things that were pointed out on our walkthrough before closing. I don’t recommend buying.

Lennar is too big and has lost sight of the customer. Homebuying processes were very difficult to navigate and communication from Lennar departments was seriously lacking and very frustrating. Pre-close walk-thru was very rushed and buyers are threatened if talk of delaying closing occurs...even when the home is not complete. The homebuying experience has been less than ideal. From putting in an offer on the house being told last minute that I can’t close due to a quote on quote SHA policy until my family member outlined the FHA guidelines did the sales team change their tune. The lender that was referred by Lennar again not great. I asked multiple times during the process for additional review of my good faith estimate, and was told I had to get back with the sales agent who never returned my emails.
