We almost pulled out of the purchase after we were misled on closing dates and the reason why our home was delayed. The project was poorly managed and the builder tried to blame the utility company but the truth was Lennar failed to secure a timely building inspection. The communication from the sale agent was appalling, we were encouraged to sign our contract on the Wednesday only to be told 16 hours later that the close date of the following day Friday was again delayed. The only positive I've had throughout my experience is with my Sales Consultant Joe Casinguay. The Construction side of Lennar is Horrible! Communication, Quality of Construction, Integrity, Pride is workmanship from their Trades is nonexistent! My first new construction experience and I will not do it again unless I'm my own General contractor. If you care about buying a quality home and having good communication with the builder, Do Not Buy from Lennar!!!!!!

This was the most unorganized build I have ever had. I used Lennar mortgage and title, thinking it would help communications. However, none of them seemed to communicate nor even know what the other was doing. I had unbelievable issues at every step. My closing was a disaster of miscommunication and they ended up missing 2 pages for me to sign. Then hounded me to sign the pages and fedex them. So many things broken poor job v careless, around Christmas I had leaking ceiling that’s was sat someone came on Tuesday since they waited I had another leak in bedroom wet carpet, couldn’t find a leak , left different people came days later opened up more ceiling and wall upstairs bedroom what happened was when they were installing the ceiling they hit with the nails sprinkler system pipes which made the leaking happen, I had so many things to fix in this place they still working on it , if I would know new house was like this with so many issues I no would never buy this place, v poor job ...

We have been given 6 different closing periods. We finally closed after being offered an incentive because you needed to close out their year end books. We still only have a TCO but no CO due to a list of 20 items that need to be fixed: we have no shower in the master, electrical switches that don’t operate anything, half the doors are missing, moldings are missing, it had to be replastered and needs painting, cabinets need to be fixed, tiles are chipped, front door needs to be sealed, plus other issues. Everything about this home buying process was miserable and it was made worst when we moved in. We spent over a million dollars on this home and it is made so poorly. They even forgot to put air ducts in my home.. how do you miss that. The only thing that has come out of it, is that these issues have made me bond with my neighbors over our infatuation of Lennar and our home. House thrown together with the promise of....we will fix your issues within a year. We were really disappointed when we were forced to sign for closing. We were told sign or lose your 42,ooo. Cupboards all put together uneven, tile chipped, granite chipped, walls slapped together with oneven drywall, stucco missing on outside of house and more. We almost walked away. My husband has been fixing so much himself. All neighbors say that's how Lennar rolls. We bought this home because our friends said they bought one years ago and they were great....not anymore!!

I have moved to three other new built houses in the past, this was the worse experience ever. From beginning to end- starting with the sales person, who did not know much, everything had to be asked to supervisor, she provided wrong information. I was told all the closing cost would be covered and it was not, I am still waiting for answers, since November 29th- closing date. I will never ever go with Lennar again! If you’re looking for a home, don’t ever go with Lennar. Save yourself the hassle and certainly save your money invested somewhere else. once I started the process with them, we faced absolutely endless problems. Even after we moved in the house nothing but issues( leaking dishwasher, plumbing issues where they had to cut the drywall all over again, electricity issues, air-conditioning unit doesn’t work…..etc)

Lennar released property to me as a purchaser with grading and drainage issues. Part of the property is a retention wall, house is built on a slope. During the construction, after hurricane Ian sink holes appeared on the property. In the next couple of visits, I expressed my concern with the stability of the land, but construction engineer said that Lennar will do it right. In good faith, I trusted that the builder have good reputation and will not allow unsolved problems before passing the property to the purchaser. Lennar is horrible. Offered an outrageous interest rate. Had us do a walkthrough when the house was nowhere close to being ready. Rude and unaccommodating staff. Extremely stressful and disappointing experience.

We bought our first home in SC with DH Horton and thought they needed to improve their craftsmanship, but Lennar has them beat two fold!! It was a negative experience commencing with the home orientations == closing had to be pushed back because of the inadequacy in the non-completion and sloppiness in construction, overlooking details we asked to be fixed and just plain ignoring before closing! My experience was less than satisfying. At least I made it through the absolute train wreck from start to my 5 hour cluster of a closing experience and thought I could live happily in my home. But, NO!! Lennar didn't schedule a final inspection for the loan and out of the blue nearly 2 months after I close I find out they are threatening legal against me for them not scheduling an inspection??? This is beyond ridiculous!!

Was really excited to buy my first home and everything seemed great at the beginning. That was about the only good experience. The worst experience of my life buying home from Lennar. Bad salesman from start to finish with little to no help , construction manager cheating and treat you like a kid, paint finish crack and final walk have to delay because no one did it from the first walk , after they touch up move in the paint dry and show crack again leaving the buyer stuck . Never never buy from Lennar

I was hoping for this new home build to be a great experience, but unfortunately every aspect of this process was terrible. From the sales team, to the financing, to the quality of work, to the final inspections my wife and I were extremely dissatisfied. During the financing process Lennars rates were higher than others and they used scare tactics such as “you will not get your keys after closing if you do not use Lennar Lending”. First weekend we moved in the builder supplied en-suite washer leaked causing water damage that was exacerbated by the fact that their customer service rep doesn’t check messages after hours or on weekends. The floor got ripped up by the water remediation company and a month later has not been repaired. Lennar does not care about you after you close. Horrible company.

My new home was delivered unfinished. No follow-up on when things will get fixed. To name a few issues of MANY, my kitchen is unfinished, closet doors were not painted correctly, all doors are damaged, concrete floors in porch and patio are ruined, and after closing, we found out there is no infrastructure for the internet (we live in a "connected ultra wifi community."
