Worst experience ever!

Was promised several options for internet in this area by the customer support manager and PDF. Bought the home and moved in to discover I only have 1 option and it’s the worst internet provider in the area. After the initial work through areas that needed to be approved weren’t address by the time we did a 2nd walkthrough. I have coworkers that were looking to buy in the area and have drove them away from Lennar after my terrible experience.

I was constantly lied to by the construction manager that things would be fixed before closing and it wasn’t. Now every week I’m dealing with the warranty department which that person said this house should never have been closed on in the shape that it was in. I’m trying to get a petition on Lennar from other homeowners that have problems. Fire your construction manager.

Everything I see is nothing but a rip off. Want your money, after that no follow up on customer to see how things are. Never heard from salesperson to see if I was happy and how everything is going. Never will I buy from Lennar again.

Worst sales and concierge personnel to work with!

Don't work with Jennifer in sales and Whitney in the concierge dept unless you want a headache! Stay away from Lennar mortgage. Whitney is an untrustworthy person, they are not worth the headache.

Company has been absolutely horrible since moving into the house. I’ve been here for less than a month and a half. I’ve had a roof leak due to my vents not being installed properly. I’ve had breakers go out. I’ve had things not sealed and also I’ve had a hole open up in my lanai. Trades people have been scheduled to come out they no-show customer service reps also ghost you when you try to get a response out of them. I paid 421K for my house and Jesus Christ. I can’t believe paying that much money gets you such bad customer service Lennar is a horrible company. Do not buy go elsewhere.

A faulty installation of the dishwasher flooded our kitchen on 9/26. A contractor had to come in to rip off, dry and clean the floor boards plus remove the damaged cabinets. We were forced to stay away for 11 days. After over 2 months, the floor and cabinet replacement still has not started because the materials have not been delivered. Really? Home came with multiple cracks in the foundation that was covered up under carpets and Vinel flooring . Only noticed after ripping out carpet to add more Vinel flooring . If I knew the foundation that many huge cracks , I would have passed on buying this property. Poor workmanship and very poor customer service .

Please check everything very carefully before accepting house. There are many issues in the house and warranty sucks. Please stay away from purchasing Lennar if you have other builder options. Lennar delivers poor quality house. Also their sales and construction team is very irresponsible and careless. They usually don’t listen and deliver on promises they make to customers.

Ive scheduled my first payment to be electronically sent to Lennar Mortgage on the 28 October 28 2024 because it's due 1 nov 2024. They didn't inform me that th loan had been switched to a different loan company. Only the escrow payment made it to the my first payment. This is fraud!

Poor experience with receiving keys difficult process

When I closed on home I took a while to pick up the keys. Explained I had to go somewhere 20 miles away to pick up the keys. Also the person said someone might rob and break in my new home which scared me because now I feel unsafe in my new home

issue #1 Day of closing plan was not discussed or no one contacted us cause they had wrong number in system despite 10 emails to correct in systems, also not only that they just put that on saying we were late take key from here and have fun.. Issue #2 came to find out mold pre exits issue and they did handle well to resolve all though time we loose did not got reimburse cause they fixed it in timely manner how that make sense when you are buying brand new home and have to deal with this all

I Will Never Purchase a Lennar Home Again.

Upon moving in, they left windows open that we could not reach or see, which led to water damage, the workmanship on the construction is horrible, even to the naked eye. There are issues with stairs that don’t align, finishings that don’t align, paint on floor and carpet, and many other workmanship issues. When asked to fix prior to moving in, they declined to do it and said it is what it is, and made up lame excuses. The entire process has been a headache purchasing this home. Issues that arose with my inspector were not properly fixed before closing and is still something I am fighting Lennar with. They are quick to respond to issues but then “complete” them in the portal when it truly has not been fixed. I’m spending close to half a million dollars on this home and I’m getting work that is worse than my 250k DR Horton home. It was very stressful. They approved me for a loan. I payed 30% down payment and after that they told me that I am not approved and I needed to pay off my car. That was not the plan in first place. I had to spend all my money before I made this big purchase. I don’t want to see any email from Lennar ever again.

Lennar mortgage was misleading during the application process, the home is built with poor quality, items were stolen out of the home after under contract to buy, lennar mortgage closing agent did not provide the original mortgage note or security instrument for my records. They also got an advance on my security instrument for the full maturity amount and are now trying to hide the money they received from the Federal Reserve bank while still charging me monthly payments. Lennar really gave us a raw deal

We are beyond sad for agreeing to go ahead with a Lennar home. Feels like we got a lemon though it was a "brand new home". Almost nothing working, plumbing is substandard with leaks all over the place. Electric quality is so crappy that they switched the wiring. Just crazy, never heard of anything like this. Though the cake as it were must be taken by the sales team - pushy and lies are their only two tools.

While the community is attractive, the builder takes 1000% of the enjoyment of owning a new home away from the buyer. From omitted items which are in the contract, to shoddy construction, to deceptively low HOA fees, Lennar is the champion of bait and switch.
