From sales, to mortage, to title, the experience was among the worst ever. These guys are spread thin and delivering below average quality across the board!

From the start the person we connected with we had poor communications with she never returned or answered calls. This also goes for the loan agent Trisha Ayala was TERRIBLE. The loan processers were all TERRIBLE. Very poor communication and not trust worthy not honest. Would never recommend them or to anyone wanting to buy a house.

not my first rodeo, by far the worse experience in the history of purchasing. home was actually not completed when we moved in. CO provided, not sure why. Would NEVER recommend. just absolutely horrible. NOT going to include any of the names, first or last since noone has bothered resolving issues that i've experienced. ONLY person that has responded after finally having access to her is Suzanne Witty. She is the only assett here. everyone else, doing more to damage then good to LENNAR.

Throughout the purchase process I was told things by the Lennar realtor that were later found out to be straight lies. They told me that all the supply’s were secured and the only issue would be labor. My house was then delayed for 10 months with no real explanation. But I’m pretty sure it was delayed to get smaller houses done to meet Lennar’s quota for their stock value. The walk thru got delayed until the day of close even though I was repeatedly told how detailed their quality checks were flawless nothing was addressed before closing. The washer and dryer were not even fully hooked up. The solar panels that were supposed to be installed were not installed until about a month after I moved in and they are still not active. The HVAC system is the minimum size required by law and cannot handle more than 90 degrees, which isn’t much help in the Florida sun. There is no ownership on the Lennar side for these issues and when they are resolved, they are resolved with minimal effort causing other issues in the process. We went and looked at the exact home that we wanted, it looked wonderful. We were told that everything in that house is what we were getting. Wood-like tile, crown molding that you can actually see (we got molding that is about two inches thick, useless waste of money), etc. NOT what we got AT ALL. Our house was supposed to be done in November, then we were told December, & every month that it wasn’t ready, we were told it would be ready the next month, until finally, May rolls around & it was done. There are still holes and dents in the walls, the baseboards are either caked with paint/caulk or have dents in them. We gave a list of things that needed to be fixed to the guy during the walk through. They did a few things & that was it. There are things we told them about during closing & they have yet to contact us about those things. The counters, cabinets & floors were covered in paint from over spray, leaked paint, grout that wasn’t cleaned up properly, etc. It has been two months since we moved in and I’m still cleaning these things. We have a patch of grass missing from our yard because of some leak issue. Not sure if it’s our issue or the neighbors. I will never be buying a house through Lennar again. The whole experience was terrible. It was supposed to be a happy experience. We paid a lot but yet the quality was sub-par. It was a fight to have them get anything done and things were promised to get done that still haven’t. We will never buy from Lennar again.

Very bad experience home took forever to build at closing needed so many repairs close anyway because Lennar said things would get taken care immediately that’s not the case still waiting very disappointed

This whole experience has been horrible from poor workmanship quality to mistake after mistake. And even worse I am STILL waiting on basic things to be fixed. Lennar customer service is useless and does not care or know anything every time I call them. It takes weeks to get any type of answer about things and then when they come to fix it they break things even more. The only reason I have two complete work orders is because I called myself and advocated.

Very bad experience for all peoples in lennar

Our home was not delivered on time not anywhere near the date that was told to us when we purchased it. When we did close and moved in we found at least 40 plus items that needed to be addressed which we have submitted tickets for repairs. Our construction manager promised he would deal with them and disappeared then we were given another contact and they disappeared. We have lived in our home for over a month and still do not have mirrors. When you submit tickets for repairs the contractor just shows up without scheduling with us and we have to work we can’t just sit around every day waiting. We have been threatened by Mike B. that he is going to cancel our submitted work tickets because we are not able to be here every day when they show up. These items should have completed before we moved in not after when we have to miss work, I can not be home every day waiting for contractors. Not a sole cares about the situation they all pass the buck and Lennar is just about $ not customer service. Their workmanship is appalling and they should be embarrassed. ... More

Worst buying experience I have ever had. Pressured to do walk thru then nothing on the list from walk thru was completed by closing. 45 days after closing and light fixtures are still on back order, roof tiles broken, and doorbell doesn't work. only in the last 24 hrs has anybody tried to help. Walls are not straight, and paint is one coat of the cheapest paint on the market. Job site was full of trash for entire build and had to personally remove trash behind cabinets and in walls before being inclosed.

These is our second time buying a home and the experience with Lennar is awful. No one respond in a timely manner to any situation. Home was close with lots of open items that I need to follow up week and no one can confirm when they are going to get fix. The right hand does not know what the left hand does. The quality of equipment and construction do not match the price. Every time I call for follow up have to go over what is needed, they do keep track of customer situations or items. You ticket/open items is like a hot potato because no one is accountable to get the issue resolved they will ask to call someone else or just don't reply. I would recommend people to stay away from Lennar so they can save a lots of tears and nightmares. Lennar is the worst. ... More

This experiencing of buying a home with Lennar, and now living in the product for a month is nothing but a huge disappointment. As a Realtor of over 18 years, who has sold to my customers a lot of Lennar products over the years, this experience of buying my own has been awful and I would never suggest to anyone to purchase a product from them. The build quality is crap compared to how they use to build 15 years ago, their service is awful, they also are cheap and try and force you to use more companies they own. So many things wrong that my complaints are being filed with the dept of commerce, and the board of realtors. they make the buyer pay state deed tax, this is so crooked and wrong, they also make the buyer escrow for work they don't have complete, another thing that is crooked and wrong. they also don't complete any work on time.. we closed in May were told would have a yard by end of June and it's not July 5 and they have not even started this work.. in which until it is complete my money is held in escrow because this unethical lousy company does business like this. They are money driven and don't care about the consumer, they build cheap crap and I dislike them more than any builder I've ever dealt with.. I will bash them over and over unless they change and try and make things right for my family. they also are cheap that they don't even pay a realtor a true commission and their lame closing gift you you is some blanket and water bottle that we tossed in the thrash. Very bad experience, I have called and even went to the office and no response with the things that need fixing, and we are still waiting for someone to respond to us. Many things needed to fix on the first walk through. Still waiting for it to be fix. And now we have other things to get fix, No response at all. I would not want anyone to go through this.

Very bad all departments.

I never expected the following from the Lennar a reputed builder! 1. We were told that the house will be closed by October-November of 2021. But the house was closed on April 28, 2022. The 6 months delay. 2. The house was not ready at the time of closing. We were forced to close the home on closing day since me moved from out of state. The new closing date would have been 1-2 months later. 3. The quality of workmanship is poor with lots of issues. 4. Lennar still have to fix the issues with drywall, electric wiring, garage door, kitchen cabinets, carpet, painting, plumbing etc. 5. Due to delay in closing, our home mortgage interest was increased by 2.25% which increased our monthly mortgage payments. 6. Except James the sales person, no one responded to our phone calls and messages in timely manner. I hope Lennar would compensate us for all the pain and embarrassment we are going through. ... More

Our house is incomplete and has many workmanships problems. Very poor quality, Tiles needing to be replaced, Cupboard doors and drawers missing, Lennar took ours and gave them to someone else. Been here going on 2 months still no drawers or doors. I would not buy another Lennar home. Quality of material is cheap and needing to stay home daily so people can come to fix things. Construction manager never calls with updates on anything, doesn't even answer his phone. Lennar is good at selling homes, but they are pathetic on building houses. I have given you the marks that you deserve and wish we would not have bought a Lennar home. I would and will tell others to avoid any Lennar built homes and pictures of everything that was and mostly still is wrong and will share them with anyone that was interested in seeing them. I asked to be contacted by someone from corporate not in this little loop in Florida and they also have no time for me. Don't buy a Lennar home unless you want FRUSTRATION. By the way we have a cracked door on our pantry from the screws in it. They will not replace the door they are going to fix it I was told. I know writing this I will get no answers from Lennar. Shotty workmanship - looks like they let drunk people install in my house. Total lack of accountability to resolve issues Excuse after excuse about poor quality Unethical practices including some that are illegal Buy from another builder in the Vegas market. Lennar is building houses quickly and doesn't care about anything but getting your money. Moved in 2 months ago and still dealing with over 35 issues from move in.

Deceptive sales office, poor quality, unresponsive, avoid.

There was absolutely nothing good about the experience with Lennar. Don’t be fooled by having everything from your lender to you insurance under one roof. They are completely inept and unprofessional. Once we moved in we found the quality underwhelming. From crooked windows that make our custom blinds look like crap to the sprinkling system that won’t shut off and or leaks. This experience was horrible and I would never ever recommend Lennar builders.

Worst experience ever. From purchase to resolving issues

This experience was not one I would recommend. After all the trials and tribulations I still had work being done on my home the day I settled and it was like pulling teeth to correct what was identified was wrong. Not from just me but also my paid professional inspector. My upstairs primary bedroom makes popping noises as we walk across the “brand new floor” as does the steps. Feels like I’m in a old home. The workmanship is terrible. The walls are not straight and so are the ceilings. If I could attach photos I would. My guest bathroom had a crack in the tub, the baseboards are not completely covered. From the beginning we have had nothing but problems, and the problems just continue. The sales process was the only part that was smooth. Throughout the build process we were continually lied to, mislead, and given empty promises. We had to fight to get things that were promised during the sales pitch. The construction manager regularly gave us the wrong information and just blatantly lied about updates and progress of certain things. The quality of the trades is WAY below substandard and unacceptable. The overall quality of our home is embarrassing. There was no accountability from Lennar on the work being done. Everything was slopped together as quickly as it could be and just absolutely no regard for how the finished product looks. Every possible corner was cut and the unskilled subcontractors performed with just a blatant disregard to details. When the quality of the workmanship was brought up it was met more lies and misinformation. In some cases, they agreed to address it but never followed through. And when it was brought up again as soon as a week later they acted like they have no idea what I was talking about. Every single bit of my new home has a problem and issue. The whole neighborhood has major issues. Since we have moved in, its been nothing but rework, and in most cases the results of rework is even worse than the original issue. They send the same unskilled laborers to “fix” the junk work they did originally. And to no surprise, the work is junk again. There are still outstanding issues from prior to closing that have not been mitigated, and no one wants to listen or address it. The problems range from major (structural/framing, plumbing, exterior siding and brick, concrete) to minor (paint, trim, cabinets, mailbox), it is literally everything in and pertaining to the home. Even the finishings are absolutely terrible. My 5 yr old could have produced a better product. Even at closing, Lennar found a way to screw everything up. The interest rate wasn’t locked in when it should have been, the down payment in the closing paper work was wrong and even the hoa dues built in is wrong. When we questioned the wrong down payment amount in the closing docs, the response was “we will just wire you back the difference.” This company is a joke! Do not waste your money!! Lennar is more concerned with how many homes they can build and how quickly, not how well or complete they can build them. ... More

I would love to, but I do not have the time being that I am constantly repairing the pitiful house that Lennar has built.
