Lennar is too big and has lost sight of the customer. Homebuying processes were very difficult to navigate and communication from Lennar departments was seriously lacking and very frustrating. Pre-close walk-thru was very rushed and buyers are threatened if talk of delaying closing occurs...even when the home is not complete. Quality/workmanship is seriously lacking and below anything I've ever experienced; door-frames are not square (binding doors), cabinet doors are not straight/aligned, appliances don't work, and several other issues). This was our first new build experience with Lennar and will probably be our last. 1) The salesperson, while initially helpful, friendly, and professional during the sales process, was not very helpful after we were pressured to close before the house was finished. He made a LOT of promises to follow up on punch list items immediately within two weeks during the final walk-through and then essentially washed his hands after we closed on November 30th. When we followed up, he would use the excuse of only being able to do so much since he is “only” a salesperson. And that he needed to clear ...

House thrown together with the promise of....we will fix your issues within a year. We were really disappointed when we were forced to sign for closing. We were told sign or lose your 42,ooo. Cupboards all put together uneven, tile chipped, granite chipped, walls slapped together with oneven drywall, stucco missing on outside of house and more. We almost walked away. My husband has been fixing so much himself. All neighbors say that's how Lennar rolls. We bought this home because our friends said they bought one years ago and they were great....not anymore!!

Lennar released property to me as a purchaser with grading and drainage issues. Part of the property is a retention wall, house is built on a slope. During the construction, after hurricane Ian sink holes appeared on the property. In the next couple of visits, I expressed my concern with the stability of the land, but construction engineer said that Lennar will do it right. In good faith, I trusted that the builder have good reputation and will not allow unsolved problems before passing the property to the purchaser. I was very very wrong… 10 days after the closing, sink holes and hazard ...

We bought our first home in SC with DH Horton and thought they needed to improve their craftsmanship, but Lennar has them beat two fold!! It was a negative experience commencing with the home orientations == closing had to be pushed back because of the inadequacy in the non-completion and sloppiness in construction, overlooking details we asked to be fixed and just plain ignoring before closing! The quality or lack of quality by the "so called cleaning crew" to make the house be cleaned correctly; paint stains all over the floors! The worst experience of my life buying home from Lennar. Bad salesman from start to finish with little to no help , construction manager cheating and treat you like a kid, paint finish crack and final walk have to delay because no one did it from the first walk , after they touch up move in the paint dry and show crack again leaving the buyer stuck . Never never buy from Lennar

Overall the experience was terrible. Our Lennar salesman never answered her phone. Always rude when we finally got ahold of her she had no idea what was going on. House looks like it was built by a toddler. No attention to details, paint everywhere on outlet covers, my brand new carpet, windows all have paint on them. House was suppose to be cleaned before closing that was never done. Nobody answers the phone to get anything taken care of.

We have had several issues like no mirrors or shower enclosures installed until nearly 2 months after settlement, finally got them last week day before Christmas. Still have electrical issues with outside outlets as they click 24/7 unusable, and light switches within the home that are incorrectly wired. Since settlement, I have found out via outside Sales guys that Lennar, installs proprietary features like extermination inside wall device, and a smart home water device that allows monitoring via a smart app. Was never told about either of these options, had to find out from neighbors or ...

I never like making a post unless I am asked. I am NOT happy with the quality of my home - unfortunately it was the best deal in town. For >460k I expect more, I hate the following: small garage, small streets, inadequate storage and parking, and horrible cell /Internet Verizon coverage. I've been living in my home for <90 days and I have huge cracks in the walls - can lights popping out. Signed House 4 Sale when the economy gets better.

Community is very nice. House should Have lights in all rooms. Installing a fence is a horrible experience; Lennar should have system to get one in a timely, cost effective manner. Sale contracts are error riddled, impossible to understand, and so generic they have 50% not applicable. Have a contract for cash and another for financing.

Lennar does not communicate with buyer during the construction nor punch list resolution process. The only work punch list items when you escalate to management. Then you get attention for a day and they ignore you the next day. They make up stories as to why things do not work or why they work the way they do. And it is always the other guys fault. No one takes responsibility to correct matters.

I would never buy a new home from Linnar again I have never seen a more sloppy construction job. Has take hours and hours to get things fixed If I had it to do over again I would just set aside 10k and hire people to just fix it, the hours I have had to spend are crazy and there is still tons to do Community center is over a year behind schudle and not even close to being done I am amazed Lennar is a profitable company running business this way

Make sure that the lay out, design and the type of windows are the same as what u purchased!! I was made to believed that the house I purchased was the same and exact layout with all the right windows installed but no one informed me ahead of time why the windows was not the same as the house was being built.They changed the windows into a horizontal design instead of vertical ones!!
