Took over a year after we signed a contract to get the house finished. Construction was rushed and workmanship was woeful. Roofing done wrong and they refuse to fix it. We had to spend our own money for a new floor because the one they put in was such poor quality. Communication is, and has been, virtually non-existent We have to make repeated requests just to get a reply, let alone having things fixed. This whole thing has been a terrible experience. We would not buy from Lennar again.

Excelent great good very nice

I was so thrilled to find my dream retirement home in a 55+ Lennar community in NV! Every person I worked with from the sales rep to the construction manager were so helpful and so supportive. I was disappointed that the appraisal came in significantly lower than the selling price, but I have no regrets about my purchase decision.

Not at all flexible with changes in plan. Can change after completion - does that make sence?

Need more quality material and proper finishing. Lots of gaps in back yard fencing where manager trying his best to resolve. But should taken care initially itself. 1. Window are not sound proof at least there are should stop small sound from out side. 2. Wood finishing is very cheap and work is not upto mark. 3. No proper updates on plans and schedule on pending work to be completed. 4. Lennar should have provided small change options in interior which make more difference from customer point of view. 5 . Quality of Steps to unfinished basement id worst when compared to other builders. Lennar needs lots improvement in quality and process and communication with home owners. ... More

Our Construction Manager has been very responsive throughout the home building process as well as getting things done on our checklist once we were moved in. Now the sales people although they were nice, there were a couple things that we found out after the fact that would’ve changed our option choices & we would’ve been happier with our purchase having the proper knowledge during the buying period.

I was disappointed that I was not given a chance to select my options, or even given an idea of what they were, until minutes before the builder needed them. Our street has been under construction for a year, and there are still many houses to be completed. The builder doesn't keep the street clear of workers' vehicles and debris; at times, the trash trucks and regular cars can't get through, so how would a fire truck or ambulance get through? Construction housekeeping is non-existent, nails in the street, lunch trash - garbage - in our yards, street, and common areas.

The do a quiality work on those home

In general I'm happy with the purchase of my home. It's a perfect size for a couple with no kids. Love the balcony and the fact that I can see the sunset all year around. The open plan kitchen-living area is another plus. There are some things that are not the best such us: - Master bedroom could've used an extra A/C duct. One is not enough and it could get uncomfortable at night time. The smaller bedroom has the same duct, but it is half the size of the master, and get really cool and nice. - Master walk-in closet is very small, so the second bedroom closet has to be used by my partner.

These homes are good for first time buyers, who are not particular about quality. Although, this home cost over half a million dollars! I think it was overpriced for the the quality of the materials and the size of the home.

Alicia in sales was very supportive and Dave in aftercare saw to getting everything fixed before move in.

Finding out that Lennar didn't run the gutters past the side entrance door,( in the villa's) has more people angry and disappointed than anything I have heard (including myself). IT MAKES NO SENSE NOT TO RUN THE GUTTER AN EXTRA 30 FEET AND THAN FORCE THE HOMEOWNER TO SPEND $500 TO HAVE IT DONE, IS BAD BUSINESS, DISAPPOINTING AND EMBARRASSING. Its the first thing I comment on when someone asks me about my new Lennar Home. Lennar also doesn't "seal" the granite counters, again forcing the homeowner to do it themselves, which again only makes us feel like Lennar was just trying to cut their costs and put it on the homeowner. These are "no brainer" items that a builder absolutely should be responsible for. It shows that Lennar doesn't have much class and doesn't look out for the homebuyer. Outstanding professional approach with great communication skills

E for everything is not necessarily a good thing.

We are very pleased with the layout of our home and the location, however, the home buying experience was terrible. The Lennar sales team did not take us seriously. The individual that worked with us during the sales process told us that there was only one “stick” left of homes in our price range… after a week of back and forth we found out that this wasn’t true, and there were two additional sticks that were unsold. They laughed at our questions and worries over making such a large investment in a home, knowing that we are first time home buyers, and said that this nearly $400k purchase would not be the biggest purchase of our lives so we should worry less about the quality of the build. Overall, we felt dismissed by the sales team due to the fact that we are young. We essentially sold the home to ourselves. There was a severe lack of communication and expectations delivery when it came time for us to do our final walk through. There were so many areas of the home that were rushed - from the painting to the carpeting. We found countless paint drips, areas of the carpet that were not stapled down, even the new fridge was dented. The building management team acted like they were doing “favors” for us to fix these items before closing even though we had every right to have these issues fixed prior to closing. When we had questions at this point in the process, it was very confusing whether we should talk to the sales team, building manager, or Lennar corporate. Once again, our concerns were dismissed at this stage and we were rushed to closing as if we were inconveniencing Lennar with concerns over the quality of our $400k purchase. In the six months since closing our water heater needed maintenance twice (the coils burned during the first week we moved in because the building manager left the water and turned off when it shouldn’t have been), a pipe in the master bedroom broke and leaked into our kitchen (the pipes were not properly molded together), and a toilet needed to be replaced. These were just the big items, there have been many additional smaller items that needed to be fixed (loose boards, medicine cabinet was put in backwards). All items were covered by warranty thank goodness, but this just shows how rushed these homes are built. We love our community, but fair warning that the process to buy, build, and close on these homes needs excessive improvement. ... More

It’s a great buy for the money. This home is a place that I know either me or my husband could stay at if something happened to one of us also it’s easy to get around inside.

Lennar produced a quality product, in the timeframe they presented. They have been responsive through every step of the process. Highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another Lennar home in the future.

Lennar provides many upgraded options in their base price. Great deal on a really nice home!

Covid shortages seemed to affect some of the quality. Shortages on certain building items have shown up with the make-ups not fitting properly etc. They attempt to correct but product shortages continue and have hampered them.

I would recommend Lennar builders to my family and friends. Even with the minor hiccups with workmanship, they make sure you are completely satisfied with your home purchase.
