The homes are built too quickly. After moving in you have to continuously call the service center for repairs which makes no sense since this is a newly built home. I am out of $450 because a pipe broke out in front of my house, the city came out and deemed it was my responsibility to fix and they turned my water off. Leak was caused by a piece of concrete that was sitting on the water pipe that caused a crack in it. Well I called their service to submit a request a repair, and the customer service representing acted as if she didn’t know what I was trying to explain to her, I got frustrated, hung up and went on home advisor and found a plumber. Now im trying to get reimbursement from lennar for the money that I spent and I am being told that “you may not get reimbursed because you didn’t go through us”. A water leak that caused my water to be completely shut off is an emergency, no one has time to be playing with your customer service representatives and waiting x amount of days for a contractor that they hire to come out. There’s many times that I’ve submitted service request and the contractors they hire either do not call me to schedule an appointment, they’ll schedule an appointment and just don’t show up. This is extremely frustrating as a new home owner. 2 months after closing and already have water leak. Take your time when building these homes, Rome wasn’t built in one day and that should apply for these homes too. Lennar homes are priced expensive so there should be no reason why the cheapest paint should be used through the home, the front doors are put on incorrectly where as the hinges are on the outside and if anyone decides to break into your home they can do so easily because all they have to do is unscrew the hinges off the door from the outside. The paint on the concrete is chipping from the heavy amount of rain that we’ve been getting because it was the cheapest paint used. ... More

Great experience and would recommend to another home buyer!

It was a great experience from the sales person to the closer. Everyone was so nice, personable, pleasant and professional. They made you feel like you were best friends. It was truly a very pleasant and easy experience.

The everything included tagline is a bit misleading. Everything included to me means everything is included like washing machine, clothes dryer, window coverings, water softeners, deck or patio. Things are included and I’ll have a significant price tag. Sounds like in other states Lennar EI includes all of these things. Why not in Minnesota?

This is an amazing home buying experience! After the sale is amazing too! The home is beautiful, the neighborhood is beautiful and well maintained, the amenities are resort-like!

Ava Knight was great! Very helpful and attentive to our needs/wants. However we did have a few issues with their lenders, they seemed very unorganized, we had to send the same documents multiple times.

From beginning to end Lennar made it difficult throughout the process. If I needed something done, it was always my responsibility to reach out and ask a Lennar member to complete the task. Poor workmanship across all household items has forced us to see the warranty department no less than 12 times and counting. The work was rushed and it shows.

We made a purchase our house during difficult time in our family (medical issues). However, the process was unexpectedly easy. The Lennar staff support was outstanding!

Unfortunately my buying experience wasn’t a smooth or pleasant one. The home itself is nice but the workmanship left much to be desired. Sloppy work had to be pointed out versus the workers recognizing their sloppy work and correcting it on the spot. The construction manager was awful. He did not communicate well with myself or the realtor; he failed to keep us in the loop of key milestones. When it came time for addressing issues my home inspector reported, it was always a challenge to get the issue rectified. It was one excuse after another. There was a point where the workers covered up an area that my inspector was going to reinspect once the repairs were done. As a result the area could not be inspected again. That was one instance of shady behavior. The sales people failed to step in at the very beginning when we had concerns. Once the contract was signed there was no reason for them to do anything else. My concern now is lack of street lighting anywhere near my home. It’s pitch black on my street and that is a safety/security concern especially bc I live alone. No one is able to provide answers on if and when a street light will be installed in my area of the neighborhood. I would love for someone to take my concern seriously and provide me with answers. ... More

That staff shines brightest from the sale to support. Unfortunately, the quality of the home isn’t as good as the quality of the Lennar team. I’ve had to open multiple tickets within a few months of living here and even opened a separate ticket due to workers ruining my grass from repairs done on settlement in the driveway. My biggest issue is with the “high efficiency” toilets they’ve installed. They use little water that I’ve had to plunge them 12 times!! Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with the purchase of my new home.

Too many repairs to original construction! First three months tied up waiting in for repair people.

Lennar employees we worked with were very nice and helpful throughout. My main complaint is the agent said we were getting certain amenities to the house such as the house being set up as a smart home. That wasn’t the case. There were other things we thought we were getting with the home but were disappointed when that was not so. I love our new home and our community, but the lack of knowledge of my agent displayed and the let down we felt put a sour taste in our mouths about lennar. And the end when we brought these things up during our final walk through, but said those types of amenities were for “luxury homes, in more upscale communities”. That comment stayed with me after we moved in, I started to notice, things about the house that appeared rushed and sloppy. Paint and plaster on the floors, tub, carpet. Random screws protruding from the ceiling. When I walk barefoot upstairs, there are certain places I can actually feel like a nail or screw that wasn’t drilled or hammered all the way through. I will be a little more detailed in how I inspect my next home when the time comes, especially if it’s a Lennar home. Overall, we like most everything. The quality of the materials used though should be higher for the price paid on the home.

One of the WORST!!!!! Never ever will purchase a home from Lennar!

Home is wonderful. The logistics of buying were terrible. After we had closed Lennar tried to get us to pay a reinvestment fee of 2500 bucks, claiming they forgot to send it to title for closing. After 4-5 months of disputing they finally waived the charge. This was very frustrating and put quite a bad taste in our mouths. Because of this, we would only recommend buying from Lennar if it was a pre-lived in home. We would not recommend buying new from Lennar.

I loved everything from beginning to finish except for Lennar Mortgage Company. I think they need to do a better job than what they are doing presently. Minus this, every other things we score 100%

Lennar has been very good addressing after sale issues with the home. The home buying process was very smooth.

The biggest issues we've had have been with the warranty and issues we had with the house even before we closed. They build them quick and sloppy and when they send out people to "fix" issues they just cover it up and don't actually fix anything correctly. If you want a quick built homebuilder that sacrifices quality for quantity, Lennar is there for you.
