We payed for a premium lot size and found out after closing when we went install a fence that we are missing 10 ft of side yard. After doing some research, this is a common complaint for Lennar and there is nothing you can do about it except make sure you have the land surveyed prior to the start of your build.

Poor Quality & Short of Trust

It's been 4 months since we moved in, from multiple dishwasher leak to replacing floor in the kitchen, we've had multiple issues with the quality of construction. Especially the dry wall, sheet rock issues. Many corners are crooked & had to redo them. All the air vents had huge bulges which required cutting the dry wall & repairing them. It's been 4 months & the repairs continue & note that, all these were part of addendum during closing. Lack of communication & trust since the time we signed the PA. We were promised a full lot for $44700 lot premium, half of our lot is now covered in water. ...

Not very well, I tried counting lennar about issues like finishing paint on the outside of the house, holes in drywall, and tile grout cracking and I have not heard a response and I’ve stopped trying to contact anyone

Very difficult to get warranty work done timely. Seems like they have a different quality standard than the homeowner.

Many issues from the time we moved in. Poor quality all around the home. Many things needed to be replaced right away. Would not recommend or buy another lennar home after this.

Lennar built a good home using great materials. The design and layout are great. But almost six months after closing my punch list remains incomplete. Very frustrating experience.

Lennar has beautiful model home but when it comes to our home, they rushed through the job and now are slow playing fixing anything that should be covered within the first year. Terrible customer service, delayed service, poor workmanship...

Cheap materials and shoddy work

This home could have been beautiful. The layout, color scheme, location were all ideal. We have had nothing but trouble since we purchased. Water leaks, appliances that don’t work, landscaping is awful, poor workmanship throughout . Obvious that quality is not a top priority, but mass production is. My dream home has been a nightmare.

Definitely room for improvement

In the 5 short months that I have lived in my home I have had to have several contractors back out to fix things that I feel you should not have to fix in less than 5 months. My hardwood floors have a gab that can easily be seen and collects crumbs and other debris that im told is an acceptable gab but looks horrible. And now I have a second location just not as bad as the first. I have an doorway that meets with the ceramic tile that hurts your feet if you step on it that does not get a transition plate due to the house not being DESIGNED with one. Lennar - Materials really cheap for the price of the house , the tile

Materials really cheap for the price of the house , the tile in the bathrooms and kitchen does not have enough cement looks crooked. We did replace the tile ourselves. the garage finished is very rustic, Is not enough space between the lower cabinets kitchen and the refrigerator to open the door . the cobble stone in the front is dirty looks old already. mostly the contracts does not speak very well about lenar. I did not know this before

Great Sales Team and Site Construction Manager but Terrible Customer Service Field Lead

First off, I’d like to make it very clear that the following team members with Lennar have been phenomenal and are NOT the focus of this review: Sales Department, Loan Offices, Title and Closing, and Site Construction Manger. These have all be a great crew to work with and I do not want anyone to think ill of them. They have done everything in their power to deliver a quality product in a timely manner (ahead of schedule) to my family and me. They cannot be thanked enough. I took the time to write a long review and due to a not so nice review it was not published. So this is my second attempt will see how it goes. Im not impressed with the quality of work on my home. They used cheap products. I will add all buyers should be told they only give you 20 feet of grass in the back yard. Very disappointed in Lennar.

Communication with buyer falls short after purchase. Slow to react to problems found by buyer. Many issues with clean up after contractors were done--not acceptable to any home buyer. Craftsmanship of home left alot to be desired. Shoddy work. Appliances were not the same ones that were shown in model home. Seller explained, at time of buying decision, that we would get the appliances shown in model home. The price we bought at appeared to be a great buy but we find it has fallen way short of our expectations.

Lennar, "Everything's Included" except Quality Control, Warranty Service, and Customer Satisfaction.

Prior to Closing we were prepared to forfeit our deposit and walk away. It had become clear that Lennar's only interest was closing sales, not Customer Satisfaction. The "Inventory" house we selected, completed months earlier, wasn't actually finished upon closing. The day we took possession, we waited outside in the Arizona heat, while the vent hood above the gas cooktop was delivered and installed. The AC system was not fully functional for months. The natural gas supply line to the furnace had never been installed. The house was delivered with filthy air filters, and a dozen dead shrubs. ...

Had a prior Lennar home, felt would be similar in good built quality , not impressed , have had issues with cabinets, cracks , poor built quality and over all fair !

I think I will come direct to the issue. Tony, who was previous construction mgr, was understanding and able to make myself and wife comfortable with the home given its newly constructed and with followup issues which are understandable. However, Tom who took over wasn't customer focused or neither informative. I need to call him almost 10 times to have the same issue addressed, as each time they would fix it temporarily. And now I am still having issues with my doors and he seems to have his own explanation on how those specific doors should work vs rest of the doors.

I would not buy Lennar again

The house is built fast and cheap. Workmanship is poor quality. Home advertises as "comes with everything", but it doesnt come with essential items you would expect from a home; such as coach lights, door bell, sliding door bug screen, drawers in any bathrooms and list goes on. Lennar also did not disclose very important information such as; we live next to landfield, and many more information would have made us not move here if we knew. I won't be buying lennar again nor will i ever recommend them to anyone i know.

After living in the home for a few months we have found the level of craftsmanship to be below average. The yards they put in are already weed filled and we have had landscape companies advise the sod needs removed the soil needs treated and yard will need re sodded if we want to have a lawn however they stated that with the neighbors lawns being as bad and worse than ours it’s going to be a never ending battle. Also, the drywall finish is a joke. We have removed all ceiling light fixtures and use only lamps because the ceilings are an embarrassment I hate to even have people in the spare ...

During our building process, the sales team repeatedly gave us misinformation and took long * 2 answer questions. Since we have moved into our house the warranty department is slow to respond and lets things linger 4 a long time. After our first warranty appointment and claim, they sent two people out to work on some of the issues, but the rest is still left undone.

Considering what I paid for the property the workmanship on the house is poorly done! The materials used (i.e cabinets are cookie cutter, flooring is cheap) are of the lowest quality of builders grade material! Thus totally unexceptionable!!

Not getting all warranty items resolved.

Lennar personnel promised to resolve quality/warranty issue within 30 days of closing on our house on 30 September 2019. After delays, and in some cases, multiple attempts by Lennar appointed technicians, we still have lingering issues with exterior doors. We also submitted a Lennar warranty ticket on a cracked countertop in our master bathroom that still is not resolved. The exterior doors have had added added in various places around each door that look terrible and have not solved the door sealing issues.
