I was told like many of my neighbors that we would only get 15 feet of sod. They got full sod and I didn’t. When I finally requested my sod installed… it was too late. There are other houses in the neighborhood that do not have their sod installed yet; but we are too late (don’t understand). The house did not come with towel racks in both bathrooms, no walk in shower door, no fans, no garbage door opener, no sprinklers, no doorbell, no water spout in the back of the house and the other frames of the windows were not painted. Lennar Homes got the cheapest materials and contracted the worst workers. They are in such a hurry to build, build, build, with no attention to details. And to try to get something fixed (in a new home) after you close, good luck!

After the contract is signed and the first deposit is made Lennar's customer relations is poor. Every question was basically answered with the same response, "You signed the contract and there are absolutely no changes allowed by Lennar." During the inspection before the house was delivered, we found that the concrete floor of the garage was cracked into spider webs. This is not what a new house should look like. We understand that the concrete cannot be dug out and re-poured after it is poured. We just asked for repairs until the floor looks crack-free. But your staff was perfunctory. Low quality homes. Lennar accepted third party inspection so we did. The inspection report is up to 50 pages but Lennar didn't fix any of them. We moved in with a house of hundreds of issues. We have been filing claims with the first year warranty every week since we the closing date. Lennar rejected some warranty requests out of no reason, and their customer care representative never answers the phone call. Don't choose Lennar in WA.

Paper work for closing wasn’t ready on time waited till the day before closing. And there were a bunch of mistakes. Then the day of the closing I had to sit there for way to long because they took forever to fix the mistakes! 10/10 will not ever go through lennar for a mortgage again!

I have been working with Lennar for approximately 9 years and I have seen how over the years they are doing things from bad to worse and I appreciate that management does not care or at least they cannot do anything since the level of command is followed by one family member to another, in many cases the construction manager is the wife of the person who is in customer care or the brother of the guarantee and so in this way they cannot make each other look bad. The quality of materials are basic as to be expected in a builder grade home. I don’t have an issue with the materials used. I have an issue with the installation and construction of those materials. From top to bottom, every surface, every install could have been done better by just about any DIYer than the Construction crew for Lennar. I blame the construction managers on up the chain of command.
