I'm very disappointed in the quality of this home. My list of complaints is extensive. I have severe allergies and asthma. I spent $2,400.00 in the first month just to make the house livable. Drywall work was done in the master bedroom. The carpet was not covered and drywall dust sat on it for weeks. Every carpet in the house was covered in a combination of drywall dust, black dirt and sand. Lennar cleaned the carpet but refused to replace it. The debris did not come out so I had to replace the carpet myself. I found a nail sticking out of the slab that was underneath the carpet ...

We've a bunch of issues found after and before closing date. They were not addressed completely and getting them fixed is nightmare. Worst experience with both the properties that bought from lennar at garner & raleigh. Felt like never do business with this builder again!

The closing was remotely, I was literally enforced to close before the issues in the inspection report were resolved. In addition to the confusion on the home warranty request dates with my other Lennar home, the request for the location of the public utility in in front of my house goes nowhere. I need someone really listen to my request, respond and resolve the issue!

Very poor communication from the Lennar loan team. Unresponsive to questions. My condo insurance coverage got canceled although Lennar insurance team sent me a confirmation enail of coverage. Still no response from loan agent.

I think before closing everything has to check 110% before you hang keys , also once keys are handed any issues should be taking care off ASAP CAUSE IF THATS THE CASE WITH ISSUES INSIDE HOUSE then I think should be a priority to get it fix and not have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to get it fix

Too many problems throughout the process. Starting out with many misinformation while dealing with the selling consultant. A significant amount of builder fee had not been told until after the down payment was made. Slow responses to requests throughout the entire process. Finance advisor was the worst, not being responsive, giving high mortgage rate and manipulating the closing disclosure to keep it high. Although the home is in the beautiful Glen Lakes area we had many issues through the entire process as it relates to workmanship and materials. Now, Lennar did do a price adjustment but that did not change the fact that we received something completely different than agreed upon. When I look at most of the houses in the front part of the neighborhood, mine seens incomplete. area where there should be stone is missing. They never bothered to let us know that they had the keys to our mail box. Not very happy with there workmanship!!

We moved into our new Lennar home about a month ago. For the price we paid, I would expect the quality of the home build to be great but I have been sorely mistaken. The paint job is terrible. Some base boards were primed but not painted. It seems like there was only one coat of paint applied to the whole house and actually needs to have 2. There were scratches on faucets and cabinets. I wouldn’t buy a Lennar home again. I have been trying nearly two months to get warranty items repaired. One being my front door lock. I have to make a 10 mile round trip to pick up my mail as my mail box station has been broken five plus months. And the list goes on.

The sales person was awesome to deal with through the whole process and is the only person that helped me resolved major construction issues. The Lennar Construction Rep was not knowledgeable and lacked insight and dedication to resolve issues identified by me or a 3rd party inspector. Now I’m dealing with major and minor construction warranty issues with no follow up by a new Lennar Warranty rep. Seems like it’s a common thing.

I did expect a new build to take maybe two months, but not more than four months from our original move in date per our contract. As nice as the people are, their attentiveness and sense of urgency are very much lacking. I am in finance and customer service. We all get overwhelmed. Make sure you get an independent inspection and all punch list items are completed before closing on the house. After market services are slow to get done. Look at paint and caulking for cleanup, painting is sloppy. Lennar Customer Care is a joke. They want to do virtual inspections, which does not tell the real issue.

Lennar initially tried to sell the house 15k over price of the property advertised on THEIR website and did not honor that price. Furthermore, when the appraisal came back 15k under sale price they did not notify me and show me the appraisal even though that was part of the contract, I had to find out for myself a day before closing. I have been in the house for 6 weeks and still have warranty items open including a window that was not installed correctly with an inch gap at the top allowing water to come in. Terrible communication throughout the purchase process. Then they tried to delay our closing 1 day before it was scheduled. Now, 2 months after closing, they refuse to provide any warranty service and just close your tickets without any response. Just a terrible company, if you are looking for a new home, look elsewhere. Lennar representative explained everything as common and normal where poor quality of workmanship and bad materials were pointed. His name is Kurt. For example when I pointed a standing water he, said it is normal for drainage. There was a gap in the main door and frame and Kurt said he will block with the bubble gum he was chewing. This is not acceptable and he is very rude and disrespected to us.

I was raised in a family of building contractors and at age 14, started working in all phases of construction. That's 60 years of experience. Regarding Lennar, rarely have I seen such sub standard construction, cheap finishes, no attention to detail, terrible service and lack of credibility. I have a library of photo's to share if anyone is interested in my claims that follow. Instead of using a multi tool, holes are pounded out of sheetrock and cabinetry with a hammer. Overall, the buyer needs to provide significant oversight to the quality product. We had over 96 items on the original punch list which happened approximately four weeks prior to closing. On the day of closing there still over 25 items not taken care of. Lennar needs to implement better quality control procedures.
