The home we purchased was a good value for the money we paid. The initial portion of the experience with Patricia was great. She was helpful and not pushy when we wanted to discuss more. The build process was timely, but our homebuying concierge Melissa spoke with us only once over the phone during the entire process. Emails were slow response, and after the initial phone call we were unable to reach her by phone again. There was even a moment where we had tried to get a hold of her multiple times on the same day as our initial walkthrough of the home, and our representative at the walkthrough was able to get a hold of her no problem. We never received a call back, no follow up, the concierge was definitely a waste of time. I understand that there are multiple homebuyers assigned to one concierge, but if I was never able to get a hold of the concierge, they weren't really a concierge.....they were just a representative. The final walkthroughs with Jeff were definitely detailed, although there were things that he brushed over as normal which we have now learned are not normal things in a home. The closing process was a disaster. We used Lennar's mortgage company and the communication in the last days was so poor we almost backed out and went with a different builder. The title/closing team was disorganized and wouldn't communicate with the mortgage team so much so that we showed up to close when we were instructed to, only to have Lennar Title tell us that everything wasn't ready and to come back later. The title did end up sending someone out to our residence at the time to finalize closing given the miscommunication, but having the closing process delayed wasn't fun even if it was by one day. Once we started settling in the home, the house was built pretty well. However, we have found several issues in the house, including permanent orange spots in the carpet that weren't there during the walkthroughs, electrical problems while trying to hook up ceiling fans (that weren't included with the home), and other misc. small issues that although aren't dire are quite annoying to be dealing with months later. Overall, I feel that if you are looking for your forever home, Lennar isn't your best option. If you are looking for a starter home, I feel Lennar is a good start, but be prepared for communication issues throughout the process. ... More

I purchased the property out of state. The realtor intentionally left things out of the video that would have been questioned. For example, the walkway to the door had a corner of the cement block broken off and a triangular repair was done. The bright white color is very noticeable. Another is***** was the false drawers in the bathroom. Finally, there was nothing mentioned about lack of window screens or gutters. I asked if there had been any crimes or burglaries in the area. I was told no. My neighbors said that there had been several thefts in the last year or so. I am unable to drive at this time. I asked if there were taxi/uber services available. I was told there were. There are not. Uber suggests a 90-day reservation. Note: The nearest larger town is ~11 miles away. The realtor probably "assumed" there wouldn't be an is*****. Unfortunately, it has become a HUGE is*****. I live alone and I've moved to a new state. I haven't heard from the realtor since 4 days prior to my closing. I didn't receive an offer for additional assistance, questions, or even a congratulation after the purchase. Truly a realtor to avoid. There are metal pieces and screws that I'm still finding in the yard after being here for 6 weeks. The next door neighbor has a young boy that is constantly running around. I worry that he may step on something that the builders failed to pick up. This is my 6th and likely my last home. I am satisfied with the price I paid, which is why I rated 3/5 stars. Unfortunate experience with Lennar as a builder. I had previously worked with ***** who, now looking back at it, set the bar very high for service and product to which Lennar falls very short of.

Had a great experience with Lennar personal very professional and friendly would recommend buying from Lennar

[TRANSLATED FROM PT] I would like better after-sales service regarding bureaucratic matters related to the condominium, *****, etc. Two months after receiving the keys, I still haven't been able to access the pool and haven't received any support from Lennar.

There are not enough available characters in this box to express how completely terrible this home purchase transaction was from the beginning with the uneducated Lennar lender to the aggressive "escrow closing manager of the builder" who does not identify herself, but shows up in the email thread demanding that we close same day...and much, much more. The icing on the cake (so far) was both bathtubs filling up with literal human feces 16 days after we closed on the home and we had only been to and slept at the house 6 days/nights. 0/10 do not recommend.

The purchasing of our home was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my whole life,something that should have been enjoyable was absolutely terrible.Our builders were our only happinesses throughout the whole process.

The house is ok. The lending process was disorganized and there was zero communication. The build is ok. There are things that are cheap which was expected. My biggest gripe is they did not install regular wiring for fans. You are FORCED to use a vendor called clean life for fans which will run you about 1k to install just two. It’s a complete set up and serves the customer in no way. I now have a home I can’t install regular fans in. I tried to use the clean life vendor but it was a nightmare. We have just purchased extra floor fans but it is highly disappointing to be without them in Texas AFTER being told by the construction manager we could buy our own fans. That was a lie. The warranty team has been very responsive but the fact that I have a home that would need to be rewired to power a fan is ridiculous and if I could go back I would’ve looked at the other builders in the area not doing this, it’s basically a scam and the only person who suffers is the buyer. ... We had a good overall experience.

Lennar is so good to work with! And they include so many extras.

We feel that we were rushed into closing, even though our home was not completed on the outside. We were unaware that we would have to wait such a long period for completion. We were told that everything would be done by June 1 and it’s already July. There has been absolutely no communication nor no one has contacted us to give us any updates at all. Our driveway was very very dangerous for anyone to walk on when we moved in. We had asked if someone can smooth it out to gravel versus all the large rocks which made it extremely dangerous and scary to walk on considering we also had to move in all our furniture and items with that type of a driveway. We closed without a driveway, sidewalk, and no stairs to be able to get to our front door. The couple times that we called to complain there was no one that could give us an answer as to who we can speak to regarding these issues. Zero communication. We reached out to a couple of people and basically felt like we were in the wrong for even asking any questions about the condition of our home and also one person never responded back or reached out to us. We strongly feel that we should have known upfront that our home would not be completed when we moved in instead we were told that it would all be done in a few weeks, June 1. ... More

Good brand new

Multiple instances of poor c*****nt service was the reason for my rating. -Incorrect address info on closing paperwork and held keys -Promised shelving contact for under stairs closet. Never received from builder. -We were the first residents to move in *****. All other homes received the Ring doorbell on our street but we did not. When asked if we could also receive, we were told we could not receive. This is very poor service! We are the only residents without this.

Beautiful home and great area please continue to build homes for family.

I genuinely appreciate the home buying experience that My Husband and I had with Lennar. Talvin, our agent was so fantastic and helped us identify the whole that would be perfect for us. You went over and beyond to show that he genuinely cared and wanted to help us get into our forever home. Katie who helped us navigate all of the financial things was also extremely responsive and helpful. We may not have ever spoken on the phone, but she responded to emails and lightning speed.
