I've had a hard time getting a clear response from Lennar about the community mailboxes at Pecan Meadows. The local post office is adamant that Lennar has the community's mailbox keys, but when I called multiple people at Lennar including the head of *****, I'm being told that the post office has them. I even spoke with a regional superior from the post office who advised that someone at Lennar had misplaced the keys and now they're having to rekey all of the community boxes. This is not much of a surprise, as my house key was misplaced on my closing date and I was left without access for 3 hours until someone from Lennar was finally able to locate them. Bottom line is, I bought the home from Lennar and Lennar should get me my mailbox key. I don't care who owns the box. I'm 4 months from closing and still have no access to my box with no clear answer as to how I will be able to gain access once the boxes are rekeyed. Before this the Lennar process and actually getting into the house was easy. I didn't expect to move into a house so expeditiously and for the rate I received. I will say some of the workmanship wasn't the best. I did have to have doorstops redone and the threshold had a wide gap at the bottom of the entryway door. I also still had bright neon markings leftover from the builders, as well as paint specks on the floors and in the sinks. They should request documents 120 days out from closing, so that you do not have to go through process twice . Also the walls are not insulated and I can hear everything In the ***** model.

There were too many different Lennar people involved in my purchase experience, so I was a bit confused as to whom to send my questions. Apparently I asked the wrong person because I didn't get a response on a few of my texts. It would have been nice if whomever got my questions either told me I reached the wrong person, or they forwarded it to the correct employee..

I overall loved my sales person Danielle but the team over at the closing in Orlando can do a way better job. Again please knoow what their penanlty charges for not closing on a date they set. I'm still upset about that over 3k charge.

I wasn't impressed with sales knowledge.

Our realtor, Marla, told us all kinds of false information just to make the sale. We called her out on a majority of it and she would try to back track. One example is that the ***** fees would be taken out of our mortgage to make things easier and that's been proven to be wrong. When doing the walk through, excuses were made for every building mistake made and some were not fixed because "it's a new house". For example, there were cracks around every window sill and door frame and we were told it was bound to happen because the house was settling (even though the house was built less than a month prior). Some of the flooring with the carpet is uneven and barely fixed or documented. Definitely shows that Lennar produces fast homes and charges more than they should for the product. ... More

After moving here, it is sad to see how the community is NOT kept up by Lennar. We pay HOA to not have an actual ***** until the buildout is complete? That should be disclosed at the purchase of the home. Concierge is non-responsive when you email her.

I was ***** by the showing of the model unit.

When we were reaching an agreement on the purchase price of home Earl shook my husband's hand and said deal on a price as well as giving us some money towards closing cost for a fridge that was stated it would be provided but then told no then Earl went to back of his office and came back out to change the price he shook my husband's hand on. We then had to make phone calls to get our folder that was suppose to be provided to us at closing but wasn't. We loved the home; however, it sure is not ***** and even the company who came to hang our blinds even stated that the house was not ***** on the walls. We love the lay out of our home and the land we have however we notice beer cans in our house while being built and then we had our stove stolen from our home while in the final stages of the home being built with no one letting us know til we came to ***** the process on the house. The lady that did the walk through with me was not very nice. I was advised to point out things I noticed that needed to be fixed so as pointing things out she said "well not everything is going to be perfect", she also couldn't answer a warranty question for me when I noticed the HVAC wasn't listed on the warranty document and was just like "well I don't know" instead of "I'm not sure but I can get that answer for you" or something of that nature. The landscaping was horrible. I was informed it would be laid 3-5 days after closing and I would be called to schedule an appointment. None of that happened. They left the sod sitting in front of my house the day I closed, I happened to see it as I was leaving after picking up the keys and thought it was the neighbor's as I hadn't been contacted for it and just closed that day. I come back a couple days later and the sod is laid and brown. I've been struggling to bring it back to life for months and some of it is dead now. I also moved in to a home that hadn't been cleaned like I was told it would be. Dirt on the floors and walls, paint on the floors, there was a crazy amount of trash in the side and back yards when I first walked into my house after getting my keys, it felt like no one cared I had just bought the home. A new house with many unresolved issues. We were told many problems would be fixed after the closet was installed; we finished the closet and submitted service requests with photos, but for the most part, they just ignore us. The quality of the materials used is terrible: a bedroom door fell on my 5-year-old child because the screw used was tiny; the mirrors aren't properly glued down and shift around; the refrigerator and dishwasher doors are ***** and misaligned, yet no one fixes them; the oven and kitchen outlets don't work, and no one fixes them. We've had four plumbing issues in just one month—not to mention the lawn, which they removed but never restored. The paint is peeling off the walls, the bathroom sink sealant comes off in our hands, the flooring has several defects, the closet issues remain unfixed, and the blinds are *****... ... More

We have purchase several homes from Lennar and each time it gets worse. The quality and craftmanship is horrible but along with that is the lousy supervision that is to be watching that things are done well and complete. Last home for sure we purchase from Lennar. Their leadership is not very good. They have zero interest in making sure the home is ready for their "blue tape" walks. On all of our homes we have had to have painting redone nearly everywhere, some places you could still see the sheetrock after the so called 2 coats of paint. Carpets dirty, caulking missing or poorly installed. Lighting openings too large so you see gaps....and so on..... ... More

My issues.

First thing was over a $5 dollar part, as not both cat 6 are operational, only need a small extension which I found on amazon for a pack of 3 for $5. Second was when I left closing the person gave me a nice and neat folder and went over the utilities that I have 3 days to take over, one of which was the trash. I called and setup which was a listed on the sheet that was provided by during closing. Come to find out that it was the wrong company, which I had to inquire about, and now I have to pay, and everyone at Lennar and Butler are pointing the fingers at each other, I am caught up in the middle, with the last contact information I got was "Talk to our ***** dept., you can find the information yourself". ... The staff at Lennar share 1 brain cell and it varies day to day who uses it

Quite a jarring and eye-opening experience. I could have spent my time better eating yards like a goat for the way we were treated once put into the "system" it's completely a **** show. You do what they ask but you're not really in the neighborhood they want you in and they are not going to tell you that your kind should be across town for the "system" to approve you. The originators and humans in the company have no power to stop the "system" #argawityamammy

Home is beautiful, but after some time spent here we've noticed small builder issues like a broken stair step, a dented dishwasher and small errors like hinges, etc. that show it may have been rushed to complete. We have had service to fix these issues, but the communication is somewhat poor as the maintenance windows are usually slightly off from what is communicated to us (arriving earlier than expected etc.) Aside from that house is wonderful, but the buying process was a pain as there were too many hoops to jump through and it seemed as though there wasn't a dedicated agent who truly cared about securing our sale and finding our home. It felt like we were a hot potato in a daycare game as every step someone referred us to someone else to move forward in the process and they ended up delaying our closing date. Would've preferred a single agent handling our homebuying process as we had to keep circling back to our lennar loan agent for updates and follow-ups with sales agents etc. Very frustrating process overall. Only actual relief we were given was when we finally didn't have to deal with a dozen people anymore over a singular issue. ... More

TJ, the agent, has lots of undisclosed and false info just to get the sale. As new to buying, he asked a deposit so he can get a "good deal with Lennar" only to find out that it was his trap. He also ***** about the HOA that it can be dissolved.

Some stuff was supposed to be fixed before we close they said it was fixed we moved in it wasn't fixed I called the project manager he came in took it apart said gonna come back still didn't come calling him nothing

House is built cheaply, they don't give you all the said to cover your whole yard. Bugs are inevitable as it is a developing community.

Lack of workmanship. Cheap materials & appliances. In first several months, I had to put in over 5 requests to warranty department for problems with house. I regret purchasing a Lennar home.

On our closing day Lennar did not treat us with professionalism or good customer service. Lennar's poor internal communication caused confusion and distress for me and my family. We had to call several different contacts just to find out where we can pick up our keys. Finally, someone told us to go to Hutto, TX to pick them up which is about a 45-60min drive from our purchased home. I am pregnant and it's the summer time in Texas so it was already an inconvenience driving so far. Only to find out when I arrive they did not have our keys! The employee there made some calls and let me know that they'd place our keys in our new home, and leave the door unlocked. This wasn't professional or safe frankly. Since we've moved in we noticed several of the items that we requested to be cleaned or repaired were ignored. We purchased a new home and it's not up to the standard we were promised. ... More

My construction manager Wayne is the best Lennar person, then closing walk through manager is great; sales office on site Jonathan is great, Ryan my email person is fine. All others, I don't know how can they still there?? How can Lennar keep a bad team on so many of others not to help sell or connect the pieces and they don't care.

Don't buy from Lennar!
