I made an offer that was refused, even though the property was listed at that price. The offer was refused. 2 weeks later, I made a less amount offer that was accepted. The sales mgr. lost money for Lennar.

Our experience with this builder has been extremely disappointing, especially considering the expectations that come with purchasing a brand-new home. Several issues were identified and brought to their attention months before closing, including sod that was already dead and needed to be replaced. We were repeatedly assured that these items would be addressed, yet we are now well past closing and the sod still has not been replaced. The exterior of the home also needs painting and touch-ups that were supposed to be completed, along with several other outstanding items. Unfortunately, we have reached the point where we have essentially given up on some of them—not because they were resolved, but because of the constant lack of follow-through. The most frustrating part has been the inability to get anyone to commit to a schedule and actually show up. We have rearranged our own schedules and made ourselves available multiple times, only to have appointments rescheduled or no one arrive at all. Communication without action eventually becomes meaningless. Buying a new home should be an exciting experience, and we certainly did not expect perfection. What we did expect was accountability, communication, and for commitments made before and after closing to be honored. At this point, we feel completely stuck. The home has closed, the builder has been paid, but several promised items remain unfinished with no clear timeline for completion. We sincerely hope management takes notice and makes this right. Experienced workkers

Homeowner need to be able to choose counter tops, back splash, cabinets, and flooring...even if it is between 2 colors... Front Door seal...can see light from outside. Inside...No coat closet... Outside...no place for trash bin...no storage unit...Not enough parking for guest...driveway only has space for 1 car...Mailboxes should be centrally located...Need back fencing...During my walk through...there was poop in my front and back yard...

Was good. People are good to work with.

LENNAR customer service is very poor! No communication, non-responsive, unprofessional and rude. Bad experience overall!

Love my house. Lennar made the purchase of the house very easy and the support from everyone involved was very impressive.

We purchased two homes sight unseen thanks to your representative going the extra mile for us providing lots of photos, addressing our questions and concerns quickly and thoroughly. We wouldn't have done this without his help.

Lennar is a good company. I find everyone to be professional and friendly

I would've given five stars on the first one instead of four, the only thing that was a little frustrating , is sometimes they ask for the same documents etc during the mortgage process, but it was a different person asking each time. I think they could either have one contact person throughout the entire process. Or make sure they pass all necessary documents to each other. To eliminate needing to re-send some same materials. Other than that very smooth. The people were very helpful and friendly.

too often the builder stopped short of making the home "excellent" vs "just acceptable" and lack of ability to make small changes was a little disappointing

Everything has been great from start to finish! Only thing I have a problem with is we've been having issues with ants and upon further investigation, we realized the bottom of the siding is not caulked so there's an opening all around the house for bugs to have access inside the house.

My rating would be based on the entire buying experience they made it easy. They were extra accommodating, and all issues with my home were fixed within days as I still find small little things that take time for you to notice they still have no problem coming and fixing them everything from my AC to exhaust fan to adore that was painted flat white instead of gloss white it takes time to find things and they a responsive to my needs as being a disabled Veteran I don't notice things right away sometimes and I procrastinate, but they don't have a problem with that stuff still gets done all in all. My only concern so far is the *****. I don't like some of the rules we have to follow. We have no freedom to make our house truly ours. The 3 parking spots makes getting in and out of our driveway hard at times.

The mortgage process was daunting to say the least. We are a couple who have a 800 credit score. The hoops they had us jump through bordered on ridiculousness. They did not consider our income which then placed us above the recommended debt score, which obviously became an issue. Additionally, they also did not consider our 401K until I pointed that out to them. Also, there were two mortgage people involved who would regularly contradict each other creating a lot of issues. Because of all of the above our closing was delayed twice. When we finally went to closing, the closer felt the need to apologize for our experience. I would have went elsewhere for the mortgage if it wasn't for the attractive financing rate of 3.99%. ... More

Our buying process went smoothly. Although, some areas of building process was poorly constructed and overlooked. Currently dealing with a warranty service request issue that shouldn't have been an issue in a brand new house.

The team didn't seem to be working together. We would complete a task and then we were told that we had bought a house and a few hours later we would get a new task list that had to be completed before we could buy the house. This happened more than once. We asked why we wanted to buy the house when we already had a Very nice house. We told them the truth but that was not acceptable to them and asked us to come up with a different reason. We hired a moving company based on the closing date that was set by the company. They had to move the closing date for almost three weeks later. They wanted a copy of the moving company's invoice. When we were signing documents, we found out that we had been ***** to about certain requirements which cost us extra money. This was the 5th house that we have purchased and it was the worst experience I have ever had when buying a home. You have my wife to thank for this sale going through. ... More

I wouldn't recommend this company just because of the overall experience. Home buying is stressful as it is, but Lennar only made it worse. There were too many from the virtual closing, to documenting not being received or requesting, to having to drive to Birmingham to close. The worst was it took almost 2 weeks to get my proceeds wired to my account.

Our home buying experience with Lennar was far from great - at the beginning we thought everything was going to be perfect as anyone expects having a new home built for you — when the time came for the “celebration walk” we felt that we were rushed through it and told that a new lawn full of crabgrass was normal - the yard looked terrible and we were told they would do some fixing but when it came time to the final walk on the day day before closing it still looked horrible so if we wanted to close the next day we had to sign accepting house as is so we signed. Our original Lennar sales lady was no help at all nor the foreman in charge of the built. After closing and moving in a week later we found markings of things we had label for repair that were never done and in addition to that we found scratches on the floor caused by a box cutter that was caused by workers when building house that we missed due to being rushed through the walk throughs. When we brought it up to Lennar warranty all they could say that I already closed so nothing they could do. I went through the process with ***** in Tennessee and my experience with them was a 10 vs. a max of a 6 with Lennar. This was the most cumbersome and repetitive pre-close process we have ever been through. OUTSTANDING ITEM: I have been asking for ***** information from the day we closed and have still not received it. The only answer I got was it will be sent to the condo which is a problem because it is a rental! Very disappointed.

Everything was going along ok till we got to the actual closing. No one where we were supposed to go. Went three times. Called a number we had and they said just fill out the paperwork on line. We had already paid in full for the house in cash. We had many questions and didn't want to "JUST " sign papers on line. They finally sent a notary to our house. We also had a person from the company on the notary's phone. She never sent the items we asked for in hard copy. Also want the thank TJ and Heath for all their help in our concerns.

Communication was lacking in every area. It felt like a process that was geared towards Lennar's convenience and not towards us as the home buyer. We bought a spec home and the appliances were not as good as quality as shown in the model - a bit deceiving. The shelving was different in the closets than in the model and when we asked for it to be changed they said no. There's no doorbell or wiring for a doorbell, no towel racks in any of the bathrooms, no sprinklers in the backyard along with the cheaper grass that's also in the backyard, the garage is left unfinished. The oven we have is not a self cleaning oven, didn't even think they made those anymore. The washer and dryer are on the cheaper side with limited options for washing and everything made of plastic. Realtor was great. Sign date kept getting moved further the guy who does home celebration was a complete jerk and the things we needed fixed he just kept saying lennar won't take of that then Michael came and took care of the things I asked for. The people who put the grass in did it in like 3 different days within 2 months

My personal experience. Lennar knew my belongings were on a truck and I was out of time. They didn't even care enough to finish the blue tape items. I had no choice but to sign off. Now after living here for a month I have found numerous quality issues. Lennar should be ashamed.

Closing dates are not as per initial agreement. Never considered the buyer recommendations.
