It was only about the sale - this whole house buying experience was horrible. It was all about the sale and nothing more than that. I closed on a house and was told that I had homeowners insurance and was even given a policy just to find out that my insurance was canceled two days after purchasing. To this day no one has taken ownership of what went wrong no one has called to apologize and I only found out when I went to buy new homeowners insurance. That’s not the worst part, Every time a vendor came to fix an issue that should’ve been fixed during construction they damaged something else ...

Lennar is terrible all the way around starting with local representatives. I have been in my home for over 3 months and work still needs to be done in my front yard. From the start we had to move in with out our yard having SOD in place. Our final walk through was scheduled the same day as closing day ridiculous! Items found that needed repair or touch ups never got completed and our house was turned into us dirty and filthy even tho I was told a cleaning crew would come bye to deep clean the home a Brand new home!

Horrible Closing Experience (Lennar Mortgage) and unfinished house.

After being closed for 5 months, one of our bathrooms still is not functional. The diverter valve which controls the flow of water between the tub and shower head was installed upside down which causes water to flow from both the shower head and tub faucet simultaneously. Weather stripping is still missing on the rear door (it was never installed). The list goes on and on. I would never recommend Lennar as a builder and would certainly never recommend using their mortgage service.

The quality of materials used in construction is not good also most of the items are opted our from warranty, not a good customer experience.

San Antonio Lennar was the worst homebuyer experience I’ve encountered with multiple purchases to my credit. Be prepared to pay out of pocket to correct their building errors and hotels for missed closing dates with NO notification.

Not happy whatsoever. There has been multiple issues with my home. They have been dragging their feet on fixing them. The quality of workmanship is horrible compared to a house I sold that was built in 96. You also think they’d work on soundproofing knowing it’s a townhome community close to a highway, but no, you can hear everything. Their banking individuals during the buying process were also horrible, they dragged their feet and made promises they eventually broke and I ended up with a more reputable institution. If I were you, I’d stay away from Lennar. Treats it like the plague and get ...

They lied to me. They didn’t make the buying experience feel special. They ignore you when you need issues solved. We got yelled at by the painters and the construction manager did nothing about it.

Requested my preconstruction meeting 4 times, IN WRITING, never happened. Was not able to do a pre-sheetrock inspection despite asking for one, they put the sheetrock up anyways. Had I known timelines, hence wanting a preconstruction meeting, I could have planned better. I did not meet A SINGLE person from the construction team until TWO WEEKS before I closed. Workmanship was described by A LENNAR TEAM MEMBER and my realtor as "embarrassing". Absolutely horrible experience. Horrible Quality , customer service, and the Vice President of Sales - John wanted to even try to fight and he became angry by clinching his fist and grinding his teeth and became aggressive in his stance and tone. There is no quality in this home and Cindy the superintendent is worthless. Things are slowly getting done months and months later thanks for John S and Tad. Many things in the house was not complete there were multiple plumbing issues no one wanted to fix the problems regardless of the fact of spending over a half 1 million on this home Lennar is not a good partner in service

I did not shop my loan to different brokers and Lennar locked me into their lender. I was moving from CA and unaware of TX real estate laws. My fault. I had to jump through hoops to get closed. The underwriter requested forms contradictory to information on Lennar’s website. Lender was not clear in communication requesting information that caused delays. Someone wrote “Won’t Get Fooled Again” and I lived it. If Lennar was the last builder on the planet, I wouldn’t recommend them.

First time I called Lennar’s Waterwheel office I was told I couldn’t buy a home out of California where i was stationed as a Texas RESIDENT with a Texas drivers license where I was registered to vote IN TEXAS. Only bought this house as a temp with disabled VA loan will not be staying past 1 year. 0/10.

All my tiles are uneven, I have been waiting months for my grading to be fix. Yesterday a light fixture fell out of the ceiling. The walls are extremely thin I can hear all the pipes when I turn on the water. The house was poorly insulated. The list goes on and on.

Took over a year after we signed a contract to get the house finished. Construction was rushed and workmanship was woeful. Roofing done wrong and they refuse to fix it. We had to spend our own money for a new floor because the one they put in was such poor quality. Communication is, and has been, virtually non-existent We have to make repeated requests just to get a reply, let alone having things fixed. This whole thing has been a terrible experience. We would not buy from Lennar again.

No attention to detail. Workmanship is poor. Grass they laid down is terrible. Damages were done after I closed to my property from a Lennar sub and Lennar told me to handle it with the sub.
