I will never ever go with Lennar again! If you’re looking for a home, don’t ever go with Lennar. Save yourself the hassle and certainly save your money invested somewhere else. once I started the process with them, we faced absolutely endless problems. Even after we moved in the house nothing but issues( leaking dishwasher, plumbing issues where they had to cut the drywall all over again, electricity issues, air-conditioning unit doesn’t work…..etc)

My experience was less than satisfying. At least I made it through the absolute train wreck from start to my 5 hour cluster of a closing experience and thought I could live happily in my home. But, NO!! Lennar didn't schedule a final inspection for the loan and out of the blue nearly 2 months after I close I find out they are threatening legal against me for them not scheduling an inspection??? This is beyond ridiculous!!

I was hoping for this new home build to be a great experience, but unfortunately every aspect of this process was terrible. From the sales team, to the financing, to the quality of work, to the final inspections my wife and I were extremely dissatisfied. During the financing process Lennars rates were higher than others and they used scare tactics such as “you will not get your keys after closing if you do not use Lennar Lending”. First weekend we moved in the builder supplied en-suite washer leaked causing water damage that was exacerbated by the fact that their customer service rep doesn’t check messages after hours or on weekends. The floor got ripped up by the water remediation company and a month later has not been repaired. Lennar does not care about you after you close. Horrible company.

Please do not EVER purchase a home with Lennar, the customer service is awful. They do no reply to request. The home are rushed and have so many errors. The materials are cheap and the quality of the home is poor. Im looking to sale my home ASAP and build elsewhere with another builder.

Absolute horrible experience from beginning with our sales person to the very end. They have no ethics and do not follow true building codes. Sakes people tell you lies, the floor plan is 3rd grade pictures, craftsmanship of the house is beyond low grade, project managers aren’t even licensed builders which is why so many issues occur. No follow up from top to bottom. I closed in September and have 3 page punch list that has taken forever. I’ve had to have outside vendors come in. 48 outlets on 2 breakers isn’t even electrical code despite them trying to convince you it is. I can go on ...

Horrible experience, will not recommend anyone to buy a Lennar home. Pressure their client’s to close on homes that are not finished and getting them to do any repairs is a hassle.

Lennar uses unskilled contractors and cheap materials, contractors and subcontractors don’t know what they’re doing and have this “I don’t care” attitude. Getting anything done or fixed or repaired is extremely difficult and have to resort to escalating to Lennar Head Office. Construction managers and customer service reps all make big promise, trying to get you to close sooner. As soon as you Close on your house, game over, Lennar won’t touch or repair anything. I have owned several homes in my lifetime. Some new builds and some resales. NEVER have had such a terrible experience as with this home. When I wasn’t being ignored; I was being lied to. I have done my best to patiently work through the Lennar process but at this point I am all out of nice.

From sales to closing an absolute HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Our sales person Matt was MIA most of the time. Our house was not ready for closing but expected us to close anyway. All screens were bent, painting and caulking was horrific. We have a mice problem, front doors don't lock. garage door dented. Because we sold our other home they had us over a barrel cuz we needed to move in. The house was dirty. Their follow up in every department was atrocious and still is. Extremely unhappy.... they don't care! We are seniors in our 80's and feel they took advantage of us. Very negligent. unfortunately ...

My new house is a bundle of issues. Starting from the exterior to the the interior of the bathrooms every part of the issue had bunch of issues. There were so many bulges and dips in the every room whereever there is carpet. The issue was raised before closing and is not fixed yet. The carpet and the padding inside the carpet are so cheap. Beneath the carpet we found trash, the people who did that didn’t even care to vacuum the area before installing the carpet. In the beginning we had a few hiccups but everyone was available and supportive; however the bad experience started on the first day of the walk/ through when I was told it had to be done on a particular day and many things were not completed in the home. Since that day it has been an unpleasant experience. I finally realized no one cares once you’ve signed on the dotted line.

I am not a happy Lennar Customer! Too many issues to list here. It's exhausting. Poor communication, paid way too much for the quality of the home--materials, appliances, workmanship, quality or lack thereof, slapdash finishes, severely poor responsiveness, lack of integrity and more. All of this wears you down and leaves you angry and stuck.

I would never buy another Lennar home

Hi, This is my third lennar home, but my experience of buying of third lennar home was really bad that I would never buy another home from lennar. I had primary home and investment home from lennar prior to this...they were forcing me to close home with open drywalls and lot of work pending. Can you imagine closing home and some attorney coming to your home on Saturday evening 9PM to close home ? They forced me to do this although still pending items. They said If I dont close it today I will lose my 10% security deposit and my interest rate will go up even my rate lock doesn't expire ...

Major construction issue of water collecting in the crawl space. Unresolved after nearly three months. Customer service not responsive even to smaller issues. Walk thru are perfunctory. Explanations of home systems basic at best. They just want to slap up homes, push the sales and move on. Little care for customers who paid top dollar for a very mediocre product. Home marketing promises everything included but they excluded a refrigerator and air conditioning unit. What is provided is low grade as are the building materials.

I closed on a house in a Lennar community 6 months ago. The building process was ridiculously stressful. Zac, the building manager over my home, was hard to communicate with, did not follow through on requests, left my build sitting with unfixed issues for months. Even untouched the week between my initial walkthrough and my final one. I ended up coming to my FINAL walkthrough, with several trades people actively working to fix problems WHILE I WAS WALKING THROUGH. Closing delayed three times because house was not ready for occupancy. Punch list items promised were not completed. Still do not have water hook up to refrigerator two months after closing. Poor workmanship and no follow through on quality of work by construction superintendent. Disconnect in communication between sales team and construction team. Given our experience, would not buy another Lennar home.
