The "Lennar Experience" is an absolute joke. I knew what I was getting into with a cookie cutter new build but I was not expecting the process and employees to be the worst part of the whole experience. If I could do it again I would run away. Our CM, Tate, was an absolute disaster and was more worried telling me about some facebook group that complains about him then actually fixing problems we pointed out at 3 different walk throughs. The fact he still has a job shows Lennar has zero care about quality and just pumps them out. Since moving in a few months ago we have had over 10 different warranty visits and 3 different CMs come clean up Tate's issues. The only saving grace is the warranty claims representative has been so understanding and communicates well. Which is the complete opposite from what the way sales and construction team operate. Its almost as if Lennar purposely pumps these houses out just to let Warranty team deal with fall out. ... More

I have serious concern on price transparency and also the structure and material used . The garage does not have proper structure to park two cars. The stairs from the garage to the main floor is quite elongated. No washer and drawer are included in that package while this was known but when compared with other property seller near by there are better deal available. I don’t think I’m gonnna recommended Lennar to anyone.

Very poor quality. They show you a model home, then drop the bomb on you, it don't come with this and that, bait and switch. Put cabinets in with NO knobs to open them with. Much much more.

Horrible experience, would not recommend

Only person that was phenomenal was the loan officer, Amy, her response to all questions and all concerns were answered promptly as far as construction and sales. Their attention and response was absolutely horrifying and I would never purchase a home from Leonard again, nor would I recommend anyone to my family or my s purchase from Lennar

I wouldn't buy from Lennar Aston Park. From the get go, they did not appear trust worthy. The mortgage officer started out by misleading about the loan requirements. The underwriting process was cumbersome, and I had to basically do the job of the underwriter by writing all my income, sources, and how they were spent in the last 3-6 months in an email. Apparently, sharing my bank statements and other relevant official document was not enough. Walkthrough personnel was not polite. After closing, it was a hassle to get the keys. You have to be there at exactly 11am. Not before, not after. I found the garage door had a large dent after closing. This wasn't there during the walkthrough. Overall, just a terrible buying experience. I wouldn't recommend this subdivision to anyone. ... More

My buying experience was very bad with Lennar, starting from salesperson to the entire sales team gave me hard time, poor communication while your home is getting built, they can lie about anything to just sell the home. I had a very good experience with Pulti homes, and they have excellent customer Servies, i will never ever buy a Lennar home again.

Closing took over 10 hours, delayed 4 times while I waited in a U Haul. Nothing was fixed that was asked for. None well return phone calls. 2 months later we still can't get mail. Workers speed up and down the road plus trash keeps blowing in the yard. Can't reach HOA about rules.

Customer service was awful and the home buying experience was terrible.

Aside from being bullied into purchasing a home that at the end of the day was built improperly. And I do not want. The walls are uneven. There's areas where the ceiling is lower on one side of a wall than the other. My glass door that should have been included in the house that I had to buy separately because they decided. They're no longer providing glass for the showers. And didn't even lower the price of the house because of it. I couldn't install it because I have to redo the entire shower wall because it's Bode. Meaning that it's not level. It's not even This has been an issue throughout the entire house. The things that I thought I was gonna be able to buy. That would have been extra because of all the things that they said were included. I couldn't purchase because by the time we close on the house. None of the things that were promised were there. No backsplash, no washer and dryer. The counters were incorrect. The sink was incorrect. The shower glass was no longer being a part of the house. I had to make those purchases taking money away from things that we were originally gonna do to add to the house. I've never been robbed in my life. Never going with Lennar and would recommend others to do the same. I bought Lennar's property Canyon Creek at Bothell WA and they constructed homes right behind my backyard. My home's privacy is compromised, obviously they did this after selling houses in the row and then building behind. Untrustworthy.

Never got my keys day of closing, lock was broken, it didn’t get fixed for weeks and keys never sent to me like I was told. I had to drive 2 hours to pick them up. Leaks in the house after day 3. No one likes to help, I had to call a lot of numbers to finally get a response. I had lots that needed to be fixed and it took over a month with lots of contractors coming almost daily. This does not include all the blue stickers that were undone before closing. Lennar is not trustworthy in my opinion and to many of my neighbors as well. There is so much more to say but, I would run out of room to write everything. I would not recommend even Lucifer to buy from Lennar. I am still needing things fixed and there a big lack of communication. Wish my new home buying experience was better. There is no quality in the homes being built which is unfortunate. Maybe Lennar should teach their worker’s communication and customer service skills. ... More

Not a great satisfaction after buying home from Lennar

Very dissatisfied with the home, paid over $600K and having to do a lot of things to get it to the way we want it, cheap cabinets, plain counter tops, all white, no color, no towel racks or medicine cabinets! A shell of a home!! I wish I would have not purchased this tome

Run far away. Lennar uses subpar materials and even poorer contractors. So many problems with our new house. And when you call they just lie and deflect. Horrible company. Horrible customer service. The worst experience possible. Buy anything else.

This has been tiresome and disappointing all the way around from beginning to end. The salesperson misled us on when amenities would be completed, the unit wasn't finished even though we traveled a great distance for our closing & to move in, no one ever reached out to say it was delayed. Even after we moved in the work wasn't completed and was shoddy. In just 2 months we've had to constantly get into touch with them for issues (referred to warranty) and schedule workers to come. Yesterday 2 guys came to fix one thing and we discovered after they left they made a gash in the Sheetrock in the process .... it's always like 1 step forward 2 steps back. I cannot wait to sell and find another better quality built place. ... More

Working with loan officer was a terrible experience although I don’t have any issues with the builder.

From beginning to end, this home-buying experience has been a nightmare. The salesman was unresponsive to our issue with an unfinished garage wall. The Title Company used by the builder was also responsive to our requests to meet in person for the purchase agreement signing. Worst of all, they recorded the WRONG names with the county. When asked when it would be corrected, I had to file two complaints with Headquarters in order to get things fixed. As of yet, they are still not recording our requested language in the warranty deed, as other title companies have done for us, after putting us in touch with their staff attorney. Since this is standard language for joint tenancy, which is allowable in Texas, there should be no questions on legality, and yet we have had a string of issues with Lennar. ... More

Horrible experience from beginning to end

Highly recommend being involved throughout the build, any corner to be cut will be cut by builder. Shady operation with lowest quality materials, paint, cabinets, flooring etc. Expect to be stone walled. Highly recommend hiring an inspector before closing. They will not let you on the roof to inspect roofing until after closing and this is a no drone zone. Meet the builder was halfway decent with Brian although orientation and final walk through was unpleasant. Fixed that were made were done cheaply and unprofessional, chipped cabinets especially. Warranty representative (Mitch) was especially rude, inexperienced, unknowledgeable, acted like he knew things that he didn’t, had brash sense of humor, unfriendly, was speaking over people especially buyers, brushing things off as no big deal, and had no accountability. Mitch should be relieved of his job. There are other things that are still lacking attention and we hesitate to address these items due to not wanting to deal with Mitch specifically. I could make a long list about issues with the home, but at this point I’m tired of the battle. ... More

We are first time home buyers and were drawn in by Lennars "easy home buying process" and "everything included". The entire process was a nightmare (minus our amazing sells rep Heather and Warranty/Construction rep Brett). You are 100% just a number to this corporation and they do not care about you, your family or the investment you're making. They have no communication internally, so you have the same conversations with different departments and have to submit the same paperwork over and over again. We even asked some of the team members if they communicated across teams and they laughed and said NO. Every department was a headache and you had to constantly remind them to get things done. The biggest lie they told us was that they no longer provide blinds for our style of homes, even though the homes we toured had blinds. After meeting our new neighbors (who all closed on homes after us) we quickly found out that was a lie and Lennar gave all of them blinds throughout their entire home. WOW. what a joke. I wish I was surprised but that's how this whole process has been. No communication, no integrity, no care for the home buyer and never any consistency. We've already told all of our friends and family the nightmare of a process this has been and tell everyone to find a different company to purchase from. Save yourself the headache and hassle- they do not care about you, they will lie to you, and they will cut corners. They do have a few shining stars that actually care about you - Heather and Brett are incredible humans. Very grateful for them. Lennar should make them trainers and allow them to teach the rest about customer service and care. Overall- NIGHTMARE experience. We'll never buy from them again. ... More

The home consultant used predatory methods to rush me into making a decision to sign a purchase agreement. He was also unprofessional with his communication and didn’t upload the information into my portal that I needed for this to be a smooth process after settlement. The construction manager has not been knowledgeable on various processes that he should have a firm grasp on. The entire process has been beyond stressful and most of the customer care reps have provided mediocre customer service that is just going through the motions and not taking the time to understand the issues. Ultimately, Lennar moved people in before the community was ready. We have suffered the consequences of a rushed project and it is quite unfortunate. There also needed to be better communication with the lending process. I recommend choosing a different brand of appliances for your next project because the number of issues we’ve had in this brand new home are astonishing. I went through different models and they all had white cabinets. I was told I was getting white cabinets, got gray. Was told to bad, you signed the contract. This is what you get, there are no options. Was told if I wanted a custom build, I had to go to a custom builder. I moved in and was trying to get cable hooked up, which is part of the HOA and there was a problem. I spent all day leaving messages and not once was called back. Finally at 4:30 I found someone who guided me in the right direction. Found beer cans in my cabinet while they were still building. Which explains some of the shoddy work done. When I moved in the floors were filthy, windows dirty, grout dirty, line of ants climbing up an outside wall into AC pipe. These are all things noted during the walk-through. I didn’t move in until two months after my closing, I was on a trip, and none of these things were taken care of. Cheapest appliances made. So if you want shoddy work and no choices about anything, which I was willing to live with a farmers sink, I wanted a split sink, which wall you are dictated to put your tv on, a tiny one car garage that you can’t put your golf cart and car in at the same time, which I find strange because it is a golf community, then Lennar is your builder. ... Purchased home for $281,000 supposedly on a deal. 6 days after we closed Lennar drops prices on identical house to $271,000. This is stealing from a customer. Spoke to Greg the salesman and he said there is nothing he can do. I felt like i was dealing with a car salesman. Will never purchase from Lennar again and ive told all friends, family, neighbors, and anyone i come across to never ever purchase from Lennar.

Though I have informed about cracks in the foundation, they were not fixed Reported about Ant hill before closure, it was not just an ant hill , it was an infestation of ants and was just watered, but not fixed before closure
