Terrible, more than a month and I don’t even have a shower at home worse experience ever. House with a lot of problems. I was trick.

Had the worst experience with the mortgage company as the agent handling the paper work doesn't know the calculation. Plus requested unnecessary documents from the third party as there personal bank statements which at the was not provided and still loan was approved. Really bad material plus construction work. It's not even month and floor started making noises as old houses. Basement has leaks as we started water sprinklers just think water is coming into basement just from water sprinklers that are used to water garden. Still don't have mailbox for the house. So have to go to USPS to get the mails. Bathroom tab started leaking water when made complaint in warranty still haven't scheduled to repair it. When asked who will pay bill for the water as it is continuously leaking and the answer was that is normal the bill won't be that big. No one wants to answer their phones and keep avoiding you. ... Worst experience ever. Showed up day of closing to complete punch walk review and then head to closing. Show up and nothing on punch list was completed. Construction PM left as he had prior obligations. Never mentioned that we did not have a CO and couldn’t close. After waiting for over hour and half for someone else to show up to walk home ( no one ever did ) we get a call that CO won’t happen for another 5 days. This was 30 minutes before closing at lawyers office. Also found out that they don’t detail clean houses prior to closing and it’s new owners responsibility to have detailed clean, they only perform a quick wipe down. We have lived in house for over 30 days now and punch list items are still lingering and not closed out. Construction PM sends guys to fix but never instructs them what it is so I have to spend time pointing everything out. Most interactions with the subs that have come to fix items goes like this. “ Hey, Kevin sent me over to fix punch items but didn’t tell me what it is I actually need to do”. As far as quality of home and workmanship, I have never seen anything worse. Walls have lumps in them from where patches were attempted and not properly fixed. Paint drips from excess paint on walls. Ceiling lights that are not flush to ceiling because the cans were not set flush to ceiling. Tile in showers that feels like a mountain range. The list goes on and on about how bad Lennar is at building homes. I fully have accepted the fact that I am going to have to pay a painter to come in and fix most Sheetrock and trim plus repaint most of house. The advice I give to everyone that ask how I like my new house is stay away from new construction and don’t ever buy from Lennar. You pay the price of a Cadillac and are given beat up used car in return. I cannot express enough my dissatisfaction with Lennar. They absolutely know how to ruin the experience of buying a new home ... More

Very disappointed in the overall process, quality and value as well as responsiveness to issues. Keep being told "this is the way it is these days" instead of having the respect and quality that a new house should. The only goal was to close on the house - no matter what shape it was in - and was promised all items would be fixed right away. Going on 2 months and the majority of the issues haven't even been scheduled to be fixed. Everyone is paying A+ prices these days and getting C+ quality and service. Thank you.

From the beginning to well after closing (1 1/2 months now,we received no occupancy permit,but forced to close!) It's been crazy busy with contractors in and out fixing all of the obvious problems that were not addressed, I would never recommend this to anyone, the horror stories are too many and such long stories, I hope this helps someone with their decision.

I have smoke alarms constantly going off. I need someone to address this asap! I have reached out to the contractor with no help!

Several outstanding warranty issues have not been resolved nor any attempt to fix them. Deena my construction manager and warranty contact will not respond and fix MANY ITEMS THAT WERE NOTED SINCE PRIOR TO MOVE IN DATE. Customer service at this community is the worst I have ever experienced. I have purchased multiple new construction homes since 1991 and Lennar is by far the worst experience I have had. Deena is terrible! I have broken tile; granite counter top; incomplete landscaping; weeds all around my home; a nasty rusty nail sticking out of the concrete in the garage; my AC unit is not working; terrible mismatched pain job throughout the house. These items were noted in final walk through approximately 5/18/22 and not one of them are fixed! I see Lennar rapidly completing new homes to sell and make a profit but has COMPLETELY NEGLECTED TO FIX THE ITEMS IN MY HOME. Absolutely ridiculous. I would like to work with a different construction/warranty manager as Deena is not doing her job and has demonstrated zero effort in resolving my warranty issues. From sales, to mortage, to title, the experience was among the worst ever. These guys are spread thin and delivering below average quality across the board!

From the start the person we connected with we had poor communications with she never returned or answered calls. This also goes for the loan agent Trisha Ayala was TERRIBLE. The loan processers were all TERRIBLE. Very poor communication and not trust worthy not honest. Would never recommend them or to anyone wanting to buy a house.

not my first rodeo, by far the worse experience in the history of purchasing. home was actually not completed when we moved in. CO provided, not sure why. Would NEVER recommend. just absolutely horrible. NOT going to include any of the names, first or last since noone has bothered resolving issues that i've experienced. ONLY person that has responded after finally having access to her is Suzanne Witty. She is the only assett here. everyone else, doing more to damage then good to LENNAR.

Throughout the purchase process I was told things by the Lennar realtor that were later found out to be straight lies. They told me that all the supply’s were secured and the only issue would be labor. My house was then delayed for 10 months with no real explanation. But I’m pretty sure it was delayed to get smaller houses done to meet Lennar’s quota for their stock value. The walk thru got delayed until the day of close even though I was repeatedly told how detailed their quality checks were flawless nothing was addressed before closing. The washer and dryer were not even fully hooked up. The solar panels that were supposed to be installed were not installed until about a month after I moved in and they are still not active. The HVAC system is the minimum size required by law and cannot handle more than 90 degrees, which isn’t much help in the Florida sun. There is no ownership on the Lennar side for these issues and when they are resolved, they are resolved with minimal effort causing other issues in the process. We went and looked at the exact home that we wanted, it looked wonderful. We were told that everything in that house is what we were getting. Wood-like tile, crown molding that you can actually see (we got molding that is about two inches thick, useless waste of money), etc. NOT what we got AT ALL. Our house was supposed to be done in November, then we were told December, & every month that it wasn’t ready, we were told it would be ready the next month, until finally, May rolls around & it was done. There are still holes and dents in the walls, the baseboards are either caked with paint/caulk or have dents in them. We gave a list of things that needed to be fixed to the guy during the walk through. They did a few things & that was it. There are things we told them about during closing & they have yet to contact us about those things. The counters, cabinets & floors were covered in paint from over spray, leaked paint, grout that wasn’t cleaned up properly, etc. It has been two months since we moved in and I’m still cleaning these things. We have a patch of grass missing from our yard because of some leak issue. Not sure if it’s our issue or the neighbors. I will never be buying a house through Lennar again. The whole experience was terrible. It was supposed to be a happy experience. We paid a lot but yet the quality was sub-par. It was a fight to have them get anything done and things were promised to get done that still haven’t. We will never buy from Lennar again.

Very bad experience home took forever to build at closing needed so many repairs close anyway because Lennar said things would get taken care immediately that’s not the case still waiting very disappointed

This whole experience has been horrible from poor workmanship quality to mistake after mistake. And even worse I am STILL waiting on basic things to be fixed. Lennar customer service is useless and does not care or know anything every time I call them. It takes weeks to get any type of answer about things and then when they come to fix it they break things even more. The only reason I have two complete work orders is because I called myself and advocated.

Our home was not delivered on time not anywhere near the date that was told to us when we purchased it. When we did close and moved in we found at least 40 plus items that needed to be addressed which we have submitted tickets for repairs. Our construction manager promised he would deal with them and disappeared then we were given another contact and they disappeared. We have lived in our home for over a month and still do not have mirrors. When you submit tickets for repairs the contractor just shows up without scheduling with us and we have to work we can’t just sit around every day waiting. We have been threatened by Mike B. that he is going to cancel our submitted work tickets because we are not able to be here every day when they show up. These items should have completed before we moved in not after when we have to miss work, I can not be home every day waiting for contractors. Not a sole cares about the situation they all pass the buck and Lennar is just about $ not customer service. Their workmanship is appalling and they should be embarrassed. ... More

Worst buying experience I have ever had. Pressured to do walk thru then nothing on the list from walk thru was completed by closing. 45 days after closing and light fixtures are still on back order, roof tiles broken, and doorbell doesn't work. only in the last 24 hrs has anybody tried to help. Walls are not straight, and paint is one coat of the cheapest paint on the market. Job site was full of trash for entire build and had to personally remove trash behind cabinets and in walls before being inclosed.

These is our second time buying a home and the experience with Lennar is awful. No one respond in a timely manner to any situation. Home was close with lots of open items that I need to follow up week and no one can confirm when they are going to get fix. The right hand does not know what the left hand does. The quality of equipment and construction do not match the price. Every time I call for follow up have to go over what is needed, they do keep track of customer situations or items. You ticket/open items is like a hot potato because no one is accountable to get the issue resolved they will ask to call someone else or just don't reply. I would recommend people to stay away from Lennar so they can save a lots of tears and nightmares. Lennar is the worst. ... More

This experiencing of buying a home with Lennar, and now living in the product for a month is nothing but a huge disappointment. As a Realtor of over 18 years, who has sold to my customers a lot of Lennar products over the years, this experience of buying my own has been awful and I would never suggest to anyone to purchase a product from them. The build quality is crap compared to how they use to build 15 years ago, their service is awful, they also are cheap and try and force you to use more companies they own. So many things wrong that my complaints are being filed with the dept of commerce, and the board of realtors. they make the buyer pay state deed tax, this is so crooked and wrong, they also make the buyer escrow for work they don't have complete, another thing that is crooked and wrong. they also don't complete any work on time.. we closed in May were told would have a yard by end of June and it's not July 5 and they have not even started this work.. in which until it is complete my money is held in escrow because this unethical lousy company does business like this. They are money driven and don't care about the consumer, they build cheap crap and I dislike them more than any builder I've ever dealt with.. I will bash them over and over unless they change and try and make things right for my family. they also are cheap that they don't even pay a realtor a true commission and their lame closing gift you you is some blanket and water bottle that we tossed in the thrash. Very bad experience, I have called and even went to the office and no response with the things that need fixing, and we are still waiting for someone to respond to us. Many things needed to fix on the first walk through. Still waiting for it to be fix. And now we have other things to get fix, No response at all. I would not want anyone to go through this.

I never expected the following from the Lennar a reputed builder! 1. We were told that the house will be closed by October-November of 2021. But the house was closed on April 28, 2022. The 6 months delay. 2. The house was not ready at the time of closing. We were forced to close the home on closing day since me moved from out of state. The new closing date would have been 1-2 months later. 3. The quality of workmanship is poor with lots of issues. 4. Lennar still have to fix the issues with drywall, electric wiring, garage door, kitchen cabinets, carpet, painting, plumbing etc. 5. Due to delay in closing, our home mortgage interest was increased by 2.25% which increased our monthly mortgage payments. 6. Except James the sales person, no one responded to our phone calls and messages in timely manner. I hope Lennar would compensate us for all the pain and embarrassment we are going through. ... More

Our house is incomplete and has many workmanships problems. Very poor quality, Tiles needing to be replaced, Cupboard doors and drawers missing, Lennar took ours and gave them to someone else. Been here going on 2 months still no drawers or doors. I would not buy another Lennar home. Quality of material is cheap and needing to stay home daily so people can come to fix things. Construction manager never calls with updates on anything, doesn't even answer his phone. Lennar is good at selling homes, but they are pathetic on building houses. I have given you the marks that you deserve and wish we would not have bought a Lennar home. I would and will tell others to avoid any Lennar built homes and pictures of everything that was and mostly still is wrong and will share them with anyone that was interested in seeing them. I asked to be contacted by someone from corporate not in this little loop in Florida and they also have no time for me. Don't buy a Lennar home unless you want FRUSTRATION. By the way we have a cracked door on our pantry from the screws in it. They will not replace the door they are going to fix it I was told. I know writing this I will get no answers from Lennar. Bottom line people they are great at selling, but they do a very POOR JOB Building them! ... More

Shotty workmanship - looks like they let drunk people install in my house. Total lack of accountability to resolve issues Excuse after excuse about poor quality Unethical practices including some that are illegal Buy from another builder in the Vegas market. Lennar is building houses quickly and doesn't care about anything but getting your money. Moved in 2 months ago and still dealing with over 35 issues from move in.
