The builder uses low quality trades, makes numerous mistakes, and hires staff with no relevant construction experience. They fail to keep their word on basically everything, workers do not show up when scheduled, and, overall, Lennar is the McDonald’s of buying a house. Absolute garbage.

I have bought my house over 2 months and still have things on my list needed to be completed. They force a closing and was unable to meet the deadline of closing my house. They messed up my closing plans which had me ending up having to pay for a can for extra days. The. My house had over 16 issues and damaged appliances which still hasn’t been replaced. This has been the worst buying experience. They reach out and only make promises just to not come through with promises. I do not recommend.

Lennar - This is our 2nd home that we purchased with Lennar the 1st one

This is our 2nd home that we purchased with Lennar the 1st one was in 2017 and it had way better quality. The price for this home is way higher but the materials are completely lower in quality Lennar keeps justifying that the inventory is low but it seems like it's actually just trying to get cheaper materials. We recognized Lennar for striving to deliver the best smart and best product in the market but in the market but it seems like it's not anymore. Sad.

During my homebuying process I was stationed in Fort Bliss, Texas and was unable to view the property that I intended to close on. So, imagine my surprise when I show up to my recently purchased home (purchased 1/24/22 and arrived 2/25/22) and saw I was missing these essential daily items. I paid 241,000 for a home and it didn't come with a garage door opener or a doorbell. It also didn't come with a refrigerator, and where I come from in Texas that's standard. House was not finished when we closed My contact person didn't even bother to contact me. He was on vacation. They did come back after we moved it but there are still many thing that could have been a lot better like all of the digs and dents in the moding and trim and window sills. I also am trying to figure out the whole smarh home thing and get the house balance for tempeuater. It is taking over a week for customer care to call back and they call the wrong number. I don't even know how to get help now.

From what I keep hearing, Lennar home is supposed to be the highest quality home builder. But that’s the biggest lie ever! From the sales team that got my insurance company info wrong. The house having issues during walk through that was noted but was not fixed! I was told that it would be fixed but never was. The house was dirty and paint splashes everywhere when they handed the keys. Was addressed but never fixed! Missing corner base board and random wall hole patches. My experience with Lennar has been more like a nightmare. But ask anyone in our new development, and they will say the same thing. First, they have no regard for your closing date. They pushed us out 4 months resulting in a lease back then short-term costing us an additional $10,000 with storage fees. The quality of the work is as bad as it gets. Company agent was not responsive and not helpful at all, Sometimes he was rude. Home came in poor quality material, Ac was not working in some homes, they did not refuse to fix it but they did not send someone so far. Some items were missing , we request it , they took 3 weeks to deliver it. Giving you excuse when you call them. They overpriced their by 6k in order to sell it, which is not legal. but they still charge it otherwise you can refuse to get it.

The walk through was rescheduled several times with the promised that once the final walk through took place everything would be perfect. That was the biggest lie, when we finally did the walk through the house was very dirty. The floors were scratched window broken. The sales team to start is beyond wonderful until you sign that contract, then you become a number. You better shut up and not make them work either, otherwise they will demean and demoralize you in hope that they can tear up the contract and sell it at a higher price. The workmanship is a joke. My experience with Lennar, it's been a nightmare to say the least from the beginning to the end. Don’t purchase a new house because they put them up too fast with many errors. The homes are not sealed and protected from outside rodents. Let wide open while being built and rodents nest in these new home and the builders deny resolving the issue.

Lennar insisted that they pay off my car with proceed from my sale in Atlanta. Payoff sent was 1000.00 over price and this money could have been put on mortgage. Lenders were VERY unresponsive, All of Lennars team except for one person in title were horrible at their job and never on the clock or in the office. Took more than 24hours for a return call and them they did not know anything.

The apartment was not ready at the time of close but under threat of losing money they forced me to close. 60 days after not a single Lennar employee has come to fix the 26 issue that I have in the apartment. I totally get we are I n a pandemic and things happen however. I believe the home I live in was built cheap and rushed. I was told the carpet was back order then all of sudden I have brown carpet with gray floors. Like seriously, everything else has a color match yet brown carpet is thrown in the mix.
