Great experience purchasing a home

Overall the buying experience was good. The only complain I have is the trashes we get blown onto our lawn due to construction next door. Would be great if there’s some management around waste for construction folks. Also after moving in. I found some trash nails and even a rib bone in our attic.

Was the first home so basically the trial house. Lots of things missed or just overlooked. No QC was done before final walk through. Currently dealing with mold in attic and high humidity in home. Will update depending on how Lennar handles these.

Upgraded cabinets were not cared for. After installation we saw several small indents,scratches and paint chips. Flooring was put in with three spot of red sharpie showing, can find a way to remove them without damaging the visual appreance. Sod was installed without any watering being done. Struggling greatly with that this summer. One of our trees died. ( Yes we watered it). Drywall screws are backing out like crazy. This is making painting nightmare. For almost $400,000. We thought we would get more quality out of it. Lots of headaches to go through this first year. Lots of short cuts Lennar took. ... More

Very wonderful experience, I loved it!!!!

We love our neighborhood and our home overall is great. The signing of our contract was great but we have very little follow up after that. The only updates that we received were after we had to ask for. Now that we have moved in, we cannot get help with any outstanding issues. Very frustrating. I would say that this had solely to do with our sales consultant and not Lennar as a whole.

Lennar is trust worthy and great. I settled for Lennar as Iam impressed with their Everything included model. They respond quickly and the process of purchasing home is smooth.

This was my first time buying a home and Lennar made everything really easy. Lots of touch points to keep me in the loop and now that I have moved in, they have been really quick to address any issues that I have had. Would definitely recommend.

In a volatile market Lennar offers a good value. Unfortunately the home you chose might as well have been already been built. No choice of upgrades, colors, etc. We liked the community, floor plan but wished we could have made it more to our personal taste. Ended up spending more money to make changes, color schemes to our taste, frustrating part of an otherwise exciting experience of building a new house.

The finest homebuilder I have worked with. From initial pre-sales through through construction and follows through thereafter, as a buyer I am completely in the loop. Not just great homes, Lennar builds great communities.

House was rushed and you can tell by the details in the finish and not enough time to review work prior to close.

Homes are very nice...It would be helpful if door jambs were better suited for adding screen doors.

I really like the interior of my home and had a great experience as the home was being built. The building manager provided weekly updates and the home was completed on time. The biggest problem I have is although I was told I would not be able to hear people walking in the unit above mine I absolutely can hear footsteps from two floors down. If kids are upstairs running it sounds like an absolute train. I suppose that's the price for living in a bottom unit but the lack of sound absorption is very disappointing.

The experience was very fast. Maybe too fast. But I believe that comes with the times and the market. It would have been a better experience if our sales person had better advised us on the process and with more specific facts on the community and neighborhood and that there is an actual sub builder. The sales team could have shown some appreciation and gratitude for finally going through with lennar. But i guess they are too busy with multiple buyers and the individual customer is not valued at this time. It was a decision that felt rushed and I was not completed satisfied especially since we were moving from a different state where I had reservations about moving to Vegas. The build and quality of homes seems different here. And if I could have more info on the differences with understanding from the sales team, this would have made the experience totally different. Although the sales experience was not great. Customer service is completely different. We have been at our new home for a month now. I do appreciate the customer service side very much. Sahil went above and beyond to make sure that my husband and I where completely updated and informed on how each step of the home buying process works. With this being our first home I am very thankful that we had Sahil in our corner. He helped ease all my stress many nights. Overall just an amazing experience

Very nice home for us to downsize to. Love the energy efficient put in the homes. Love the sidewalks for walking ,the gym and the pool great for us to workout doing my water aerobics and would love it even more if it was heated so I could exercise year round. The homes are built too quickly. After moving in you have to continuously call the service center for repairs which makes no sense since this is a newly built home. I am out of $450 because a pipe broke out in front of my house, the city came out and deemed it was my responsibility to fix and they turned my water off. Leak was caused by a piece of concrete that was sitting on the water pipe that caused a crack in it. Well I called their service to submit a request a repair, and the customer service representing acted as if she didn’t know what I was trying to explain to her, I got frustrated, hung up and went on home advisor and found a plumber. Now im trying to get reimbursement from lennar for the money that I spent and I am being told that “you may not get reimbursed because you didn’t go through us”. A water leak that caused my water to be completely shut off is an emergency, no one has time to be playing with your customer service representatives and waiting x amount of days for a contractor that they hire to come out. There’s many times that I’ve submitted service request and the contractors they hire either do not call me to schedule an appointment, they’ll schedule an appointment and just don’t show up. This is extremely frustrating as a new home owner. 2 months after closing and already have water leak. Take your time when building these homes, Rome wasn’t built in one day and that should apply for these homes too. Lennar homes are priced expensive so there should be no reason why the cheapest paint should be used through the home, the front doors are put on incorrectly where as the hinges are on the outside and if anyone decides to break into your home they can do so easily because all they have to do is unscrew the hinges off the door from the outside. The paint on the concrete is chipping from the heavy amount of rain that we’ve been getting because it was the cheapest paint used. ... More

Great experience and would recommend to another home buyer!

It was a great experience from the sales person to the closer. Everyone was so nice, personable, pleasant and professional. They made you feel like you were best friends. It was truly a very pleasant and easy experience.

Clear communications, responsive to our needs, and extremely high-quality construction! Lennar did an incredible job with the Soundview homes!

From start to finish, Lennar is the best I have experienced

Quality control is severely overlooked and non existent. Very disappointed in the process.
