Lennar builds a very solid home!

The sales associates were absolutely amazing hence the two stars, but that was it. The two months leading to closing on the home, we had miscommunication after miscommunication with the loan team and didn't receive confirmation on our loan into 2 days before closing pending documentation that we uploaded two months prior to closing. After moving in, there were some minor maintenance that needed taken care of and the Customer Care team was quick to address the tasks but prior to a week of heavy snowfall in our area, we attempted to park two sedan cars into the two-car garage and found that (with the elevation of the house) one side of the garage only allowed less than 3 inch clearance from the garage wall and the 7 stairs leading into the garage. After sending numerous pictures to Customer Care thinking this was a silly mistake that a 2 car garage couldn't fit 2 cars, we reached out with hopes that Lennar could narrow the stairs or pivot them to line the back of the garage. After several back and forth, we were told there was nothing they could do about the situation and that it was a common issue in another community. Although this may not be intuitive since you expect that when you purchase a home with a two-car garage, it'll fit 2 cars, please, please, please measure the garage and make sure your vehicle fits into the garage of your Lennar home. This may not be a common issue in the neighborhood as this was completely dependent on the elevation of the home but no one tells you having 7 steps in your garage means you have a 3-inch clearance for that side of your garage. In a state with heavy snowfall (in any place really), you want to be able to park in your garage with more than a 3-inch clearance on each side of your car... Our hopes of upgrading to an SUV is no longer in the picture unless we plan on parking outside which defeats the purpose of buying a home with a 2-car garage. Although we love our home, every time we go into the garage (which is every day), we constantly feel frustration with Lennar for thinking this is ok and not learning from their other communities that had this issue. Hi Everything is delayed abd hard to get info from sales people. Reluctant to give feedback and answer questions in regards to ongoing progress. Like pulling teeth hard to get info. Now amenity center is delayed when we contracted we were told summer 2021 now summer 2022 Very much not happy . Wish we could get out of our contract Hope someone hears me abd contacts me

My experience so far has been pretty OK, until I move into my home and see how they respond with taking care of items that are still outstanding as far as the punchlist goes and then I can give you my honest opinion but right now so far so good.

buying experience was smooth, we were told there isnt an HOA but there is.

Our Loan officer was Dylan. He was exceptional and always honest throughout the entire process for us. Our process was a bit complex but we were successful in our home search and got our home. We thank you guys for everything.

Good communication, we closed and had keys on the day initially communicated. Loved everything included. I believe we paid significantly less working with Leonard versus working with a builder that offered options.

I had a great home buying experience, the process was so smooth and seamless. the Construction Supervisor Brett is an awesome person, always present and ready to help. even after moving in he is always near by monitoring the other home builds and always ready to answer questions and help when asked. I am happy with the quality of work in our home as well, i have not had anything stand out yet. the Tough market was a bit of a negative factor, we had been first on the list for the desired Lot for almost 4 months but when the time came we had to sign a contingent offer, which allowed Lennar to bump us if some one came with out the contingency. For my first home buying experience the process was simply and quick.

Norman and Yesha are the relationship that ties us to the company of Lennar.

We had been shopping for a new home which offered updated amenities, such as tankless water heater, gas appliances, two car garage, nine foot ceiling, etc.. After looking around the triangle area we ended up choosing a Lennar home thanks to your outstanding sales team. They were very upfront about what was offered with the home and there were no hidden cost.

It was a good process.

They gave me windows that are damaged and refusing to fix it, garage floor uneven , sheetrocks with holes in it, horrible workmanship, their refusal to fix anything. It is appalling. Do not buy from Lennar.

Every issue large or small has been taken care of immediately. There is nothing like being treated as though you matter to a company.

I gave my review. The Truth is the Truth. This home purchase has been a train crash from the start.

There was a lot of back and forth between what Lennar should/should not be doing for their customer. This led to some animosity at times, however nothing was ever asked of Lennar that should not have been handled without even asking. Overall, for the most part things were completed before I moved in.

Absolutely love Lennar! They have been supportive and helpful every step of the way.

My thoughts are still out. Waiting for closing day. I would like someone from upper management to contact me when done

Overall process was great. There some hiccups towards closing with Lennar's lender, stuff that could have been avoided if the documents we provided were processed earlier, instead of the week before closing.

Over all great experience. We love our home .

Lenar homes are awsome..it is easy to work with them including sales,loans and other stuff. I like to recommend them please make complete the backyard,fence and all other necessary in home like blinds...and include that amount in loan...

The communication between staff was horrible. For example my husband and I would talk to someone in the loan department and would expect that message to be delivered to the each person on our mortgage case, but instead we would have to explain our self again and again for the same matter. We also had short notice when it came to gathering information to be sent over, and was then told certain things would be accepted but came to find out later in the home-buying process it’s not accepted. The communication was so bad that on the day of closing we didn’t have a time to close. We were waiting on a call from anyone at this point to tell us when to close, but we ended up having to reach out to them, only to have our time canceled at the last sec while moving our stuff into the uhaul trucks. The inspection that we had sucked, only because of the person demonstrating, Elaine. She did not allow my husband to check the plug-ins, which I think is a big deal since we are making a large purchase. Next bad experience was our loan officer I assume was fired and we had a replacement which made it even worst with the communication, because leading up until, it’s like we had to start all over again with our information gathering, nothing was passed on. We would have questions like anyone else in this strenuous process, but when we would call no one would answer and subsequently we would leave voicemails, only to hear back from them a week or 2 later. ...
