I don't think Lennar is in sink with all of there offices. whey will call you for closing when the home is not ready. if you give then 10 week heads up that you will be on Military orders they don't care and still set you up to close that day even if the home is not done. I think the next time we start looking for a new home we will start by looking for a new builder.

Overall exterior and interior trim work was extremely poor massive amounts of caulk used to close poor craftsmanship / millwork. MI windows are falling a part - they will all need to be replaced within 12/15 years.

There are not enough negative adjectives to accurately describe how horrendous our experience with Lennar Mortgage was. We would get sent a message, we’d respond with a question and no one would get back to us for days. Our initial application sat on the underwriters desk for 2 weeks when Lennar pushes closing within a month. We spent over 5 hours on the phone with their 3rd party credit company only to be told we need to send in documents for all the questions they spent the 5 hours going through. I don’t mind getting the documents but it was a complete waste of 5 hours when I could have gotten the documentation in the first place. We would also upload documents into the Lennar portal and they wouldn’t review them and then asked for them again and I would turn around and tell them the day and time it was uploaded. Even on closing day we were told our keys were at closing, get to closing and they say the keys aren’t there and they didn’t have the numbers to call to figure out who had the keys. My husband and I had to find numbers and call around to figure out where our keys actually were. Really bad experience with Lennar, Lack information, can’t find people to help and it’s frustrating experience that I have with Lennar Team when I was in the closing, now I have my inspection and no body wants to help me, before the closing they told me everything be ok if some thing coming wrong with the inspection they will fixed and now they don’t want to hep me. Really bad experience And not happy and never recommended

The repair person doesn’t call back or text. I reached out many times . I think it’s very frustrating for a house only 2 months later .

While the build quality of the home is excellent, the customer service was disappointing. Communication was poor throughout the process, with a noticeable lack of updates or follow-up. Furthermore, HOA fees spiked by 20% without notice just one month after closing.

Overall the buying experience of my home was terrible. I had issue after issue and the neighborhood itself continued to be delayed. The communication from the company was terrible. I was never informed about delays until days before. There was never open communication. Everything seemed to be like they were hiding something. The day of my walk through no one showed up. I had to call to ask why no one was here only to be told I had the wrong date even though I had SEVERAL calendar invites and emails as proof. No one was ever considerate of my time. No one ever tried to work with my schedule. The representatives of the company were rude. I was lied to severall times. Never taken seriously. If I could have backed out I would have. Lennar financing department is terrible, lack of communication and each person blames the next saying it’s not their responsibility even though everyone is representing Lennar. I would say the builder was better side of the Lennar company until they refused to make repairs promised they would repair after final walk through, blaming weather for inability to make repairs prior to final walk through and now refuse to make repairs stating it’s not cover through their warranty. Lured into buying from Lennar by incentives, fast closing and quality of homes thus far the only promises kept was incentives for closing then selling off the loan to another bank as soon as the deal closed. My wife and I promptly supplied everything needed to the underwriting team and were exactly where we needed to be in order to be approved and were denied at the last second after they had already given us a closing date. Only to find out from the builder they should have offered us another lender which they never did and even the builder was upset for us after everything we all had been through at that point. Refund on our down payment took forever to receive back. Overall terrible experience. Two thumbs down. Do not recommend. If you’re looking to buy a new home don’t go with Lennar.

The electronic processing of financial documents was so cumbersome and hostile I cancelled the purchase contract Mar 1, a few days after signing it. Also, someone in the purchase process leaked my personal information to mortgage lenders and I immediately began receiving financial offers for a mortgage. Currently, 2.5 months after cancelling the contract I have not received a refund of the down payment nor a reply to my inquiry on the status of the refund. May 1 will be the 90 mark, the outside date Lennar stated the down payment would be refunded. Would you ever consider doing business with this company? ... More

The experience was fine until our mortgage fell through. It took almost three months to get our $3000 Earnest Money returned. That was entirely unacceptable.

Your model homes look wonderful but the built home is nothing but cheap materials. How about a light fixture or carpet pad the list goes on. How about more than one linen closet or having bigger closet. This home was a nightmare to baby sit during the building process. I feel this home is cheaply made and I would never suggest Lennar to anyone and wish I would not have bought from you. Also emailing back and forth is nuts. How about you have your employees talk on the phone and save 200 emailsl . They also tryed to scam me on the duel zone heating system I paid to install and the extra vents. The house are so close together. You ever heard of breathing room. The Association has a help desk in Mexico which is not shocking knowing Lennar but how useful is a person who can't help. Way to cut another corner Lennar. I think of Lennar as the cheapest unstable company I have ever had to work with on a project. Get a clue you have a horrible online reputation. Oh one more thing. Have the home cleaned before a person moves in and make sure the entire home is cleaned. I have dust all over my lower level and have scrubbed three times and there is still more. If your house interior and exterior is under warranty like they claim they don’t care to fix anything .. just have people come check let you know the issue at hand and never follow up afterwards.

Terrible experience. Grading still not done in backyard and sides. Water pooling against foundation. No response from customer service. Would not recommend Lennar.

The process was overshadowed by the buying experience… Frank who set up my celebration was extremely rude treated me as if he was doing me a favor. The reviews were spot on. I liked the house so much is the only reason I continued the process to purchase. I highly doubt I’ll buy another lennar home again love my house but customer service was ridiculous.

I do not recommend buying a Lennar home. They use very cheap materials and the sales people lie. I cannot get mail at my new house. My Solar panels do not work, faucets are made out of plastic. They warranty dept is pretty good except they can only replace the broken junk with the same junk

Disappointed with Lennar construction of a home. The house I signed the contract on was not built according to my original specs. No communication on changes. In addition for a 55+ Community there should be standard entrance hand rails, more showers instead of bath tubs (safety purposes), and grab bars.

The lennar mortgage experience i was worst. The mortgage consultant from lennar tried his best not to provide the credit which lennar promised. Basically he tried to make money for lennar by not giving the credit that was promised to the consumer . Be very Careful when handling with lennar mortgage

My Lennar management team recommended a realtor group to me for selling my property. Shortly after I interviewed and agreed to work with them to sell my home, I was blindsided by that realty group being added to my Lennar contract. Through the seven months of attempting to sell my home with this recommended realtor group, I had an absolutely horrible experience with delayed or no responses, minimal efforts or outreach to sell. I wanted to fire them, but Lennar, without discussion or consent, added them to my purchase contract as my realtors, tiring my hands. Finally, post closing, the same realtors who should be guiding me through warranty, walkthrough(they completed because I was deployed), discrepancies and hoa questions, are nowhere to be found. Lennar gave me as much incentives and moved mountains for me to close, but the experience with the underhanded realtor group attached to my contract caused my property to not sell and me to close under duress and financial strains. I would not recommend Lennar to anyone with the exception of my agent. ... More

I have not had a good experience at all. First they will send a very strick/condescending message that this has to be done in a week - this and that. When on says I will back off, they become very polite again. They push and force their lending agency. The Lennar title add some bloated changes the day of closing and then called a week later for some other bloated charge that they wanted to collect more. So, overall I feel I cannot trust them.
