Angeline 55+ Community has the worst contractor follow ups. We closed on our home August 30, 2023 during the hurricane, therefore we were unable to do the final walk thru none of the items were fixed and they still are not fixed, we keep getting promises but nothing happens. The internet is the worst!!! I have little or no service in the house, they put the box in the furthest point in the home and it delivers a very weak signal. I have talked to customer service and they say there is nothing they can do for us it's the internet provider but Lennar provided an extended to other residents of ...

We have been lied to, misled, dismissed, and a few other negative experiences during our Lennar purchase and ownership. From the first problem with the closing date requested when making our offer through our first significant warranty claim, it has been problem after problem, and struggle after struggle. This is our third new home purchase, and I feel we are familiar with how this process should go. Lennar has been the worst experience of the three. Contractors workmanship very poor Appliances supplied very poor and cheap manufactured 2002 Does not keep their promises on the repairs They rush you through the closing and promised to finish the remaining repairs on varies things and was poorly done Items used on the house very poor quality . The picture presented on the webpages is nothing, like my house looks like. I feel like I was totally railroaded. All the videos of what I was showing that I would receive, I did not. From the outside to the in. it is nothing like I was shown. When I try to contact somebody for help, it takes days and talking to 20 different people in order to get some thing done. It has been an absolute nightmare. I would never refer any of them to anyone who is in the market for a house.

Our salesperson was dishonest and unresponsive. He used high pressure tactics and forced us to close on an unfinished home (or lose our deposit). Workmanship for an executive home was abysmal. Follow up post sale was non existent with numerous unreturned calls. There has been a complete lack of coordination to get problems rectified. This company is all about moving units and quality is not even factored in.

As far as the home buying process it is easy and simple but the quality in workmanship around the house it is extremely poor. Everything in the house is built too fast therefore the house have problems just like an old house. I already got multiple problems on a "new" house. Lennar will tell you that everything in the house has warranty which it does but, you have to take out of your time to fix problems they made while building the house. Also, it takes them a long time to fix anything. I bought a new house to not have problems of an old house.

Home is substandard with poor workmanship. Lennar did not meet any of our expectations of a newly constructed home. Home was not finished by the closing date despite reassurance that everything would be done. We wanted to delay the closing until everything was completed but Lennar threatened loss of our 10% deposit if we did not close that day. Construction manager apologized and gave his commitment that he would personally make sure everything was done right but broke his promise the next day and said it was not his department or responsibility after closing.

Lennar was absolutely the worst home building experience we’ve ever been through. Extremely unorganized. Quality of work was horrendous. Lack of communication. Cleanliness was horrible. We will never build with Lennar again and will do everything we can to get others to avoid this builder.

I signed on my home, on that day I had a water leak and the front bath floor was flooded, my dishwasher fell out of the island and the whole ring thing is a mess that was never explained to me. You should note that six weeks later I still do not have a vanity or sink in that bathroom! I had little to no orientation and had no help finding out how to get assistance. You had NO trouble telling me how much money you needed and when you expected it!

I am rating because of the issues I faced after I moved in. I booked remotely house in Devon Square and during inspection we showed multiple things but they didn’t fix even after months of move and even after we raised multiple requests. On top of this they also charged me $200 for inspection I dont know what that was for. Also I got the electricity bill dates before the closing date and they are asking me to pay. The seller failed to disclose everything that the house was supposed to have and they compromised on quality for the price. They should have been straightforward with me the first place telling me most stuffs don’t come with the house a week before closing date. I don’t think I can recommend or buy any other house from this builder

I understand home buying can be stressful but this whole process has been beyond insane. No one knows what they are talking about. Good luck getting a call or email back if you reach out. Our closing date was moved and no one told us. Our electric was turned off because even though we asked for the certificate (which the office had the whole time) we were told we needed to wait. Every homebuyer on my street had negligence plumbing sewage leaks/water leaks and ect. Homes were rushed put together missing stuff overlooked stuff and customer service did not know what to do had to fight for weeks to get stuff solved. They lied to every homebuyer said we are the only one with the issue

This is my second Lennar new construction home, and it's been a completely different experience compared to the first one. My first Lennar experience was great! This time around has been a different story. From the sales person, Daniel, who was completely rude and unprofessional, to the issues I'm going through now, I'd highly recommend getting an inspection before closing. I did a walk through, but it went by so fast, that I wasn't able to see all the issues. If Lennar can save a nickel they will. They did not seal the walls, I am not sure if they just sprayed the walls with texture or if they actually used paint. The landscape was a mess, and we still have problems with the sprinkler system. We have dogs, so every day we have to walk to the yard and pick up styrofoam cups, fast food packages, and other garbage left to the wind. I had to coordinate the mailboxes being put in, they did not know who the waste disposal provider was, and it was a battle trying to get sprinklers, fences, and lawn fixed. This experience has been way too stressful to even go into detail. So many issues and so many broken promises. No one gets back to you and when they do, it’s nothing but excuses. You schedule for things to be fixed and the contractors don’t show up after you’ve waited around all day for nothing.
