I knew I felt hesitant about closing on the house the day of closing, and now I regret choosing Lennar. At this point, I can confidently say that I would not recommend to family or friends. We completed a walkthrough on the house and spent hours putting blue tape on poor quality issues, only to have a small amount of it fixed by day of closing. Flat white paint on walls! Really No light fixtures or fans? Really You call yourself a quality builder? Terrible customer service. No updates on status. Treat customers very poorly.

Communication was absolutely horrible through the home buying process. My close date was changed more than half a dozen times and we were over 1 yr delayed, I received a house with many issues that are still being resolved including exposed electrical wires, unfinished kitchen cabinets, etc. The warranty team takes quite a long time to resolve problems when something is submitted. Lots of corners were cut and it was a very unpleasant experience overall.

Do not buy, run away. Sales team made false promises, they are just looking for your money. No quality and construction issues left and right. Tile issues, plumbing issues, poor worksmanship, cutting corners everywhere. They want to save on everything.just expect atleast 4walls.

I closed on a townhouse on Dec. 30 and there were many problems (interior bifold doors missing, missing bath vanity, missing trim pieces, ants and spiders everywhere, etc) Plus, the overall job was extremely sloppy and unacceptable. I have spent the last two months trying to get the multitude of issues corrected so I can rent out the house. To date I have lost 2 months of rent. Lennar took what should have been an exciting and happy event and turned it into the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Lazy and did the bare minimum when it came to supervision of subcontractors. It definitely shows in the final product. Quality and schedule both suffered. The quality is a C- at best and the schedule was non existent. Lennars best quality is the community that’s all, as far as a builder the peopl from start to finish do no justice for the brand. Bad quality construction, cheap products. Lennar has very customer service and zero post-sale commitment. There is no SLA for the resolution of the issues. Uneven flooring, lousy painting, cracks on the walls.

Lennar is TERRIBLE. They would say anything just to get your foot in the door and the contract signed. Then they delay and delay. They even take away promised features just to get the unit “completed” quickly. They promised the Flo water shut off, then didn’t install it because “they ran out”. On the day of closing, I pointed out that my roof is missing ALL circulation vents, and they responded “oh we must have ran out” but I forced them to install it. CM and Sales are going to let Lennar down

I bought my 1st house in 2018 and that was from Lennar Construction. We liked a lot and that quality of construction and service made us to go again with Lennar for my 2nd house too. From the the beginning till closing, started facing issues both from Sales and Construction Manager (CM) and they were very arrogant in not responding in addressing our concerns/clarifications. What an absolute nightmare of a home, DO NOT BUY! This is hands down the worst home I’ve ever been in. From the terrible experience with their mortgage team, to getting left high and dry on terrible workmanship, I absolutely do not suggest you buy a Lennar home. Everything on my house was done last minute slapped together and I’ve just taken the beating because it looked good for a solid second. Lennars home buying experience is horrific. From the lies that the manipulative realtors spew, to the horrible workmanship. Their goal of Lennar is to only complete a house to 90%before closing. Dont buy from Lennar, EVER! They are cheapskates who cant do anything right, force you into closing early with promises of fixing things, but do not deliver. The material is cheap, the labor is crap, the multiple mistakes due to their cheap laborers is absolutely horrible. The home is not worth the price they charge AT ALL! Lennar has been a nightmare from day one. I was threatened with taking my retirement to a large fine if I didn't close when Lennar wanted to close. On the day of closing Lennar was not ready and the unit was certainly not completed. I closed on Dec 5, 2022 and as of today Jan 25,2023 I still cannot move my belongings in because the doors and windows still will not lock/open. HOME BUYING DISASTER

House was a mess when we moved in. Walls needed repainting and when they repainted the workers got paint on carpet, tile, everything and it is not cleaned up yet. Our A/C has gone out 3 times and is still not fixed. No one from Lennar follows up when work order is put in. Finally, the HOA is charging us a late fee because Lennars title company sent them a faded check that HOA could not cash and cannot get a hold of the title company to cut a new check. I would not recommend to anyone to deal with Lennar.

Lennar couldn’t get our house done by closing on Dec.28 so they pushed it to Jan16. Home is still not finished! We settled for a Lennar home in a different area of town. The experience has been horrible. We can’t even get the warranty people out to patch up the things that were pointed out on our walkthrough before closing. I don’t recommend buying.
