Make sure you ask what color your house is going to be. Didn't know I needed to ask what the color of my house was going to be painted, my bad for assuming they painted houses in neutral colors, which are more versatile. I wasn't shown what the color scheme was going to be so you don't really have any options to choose, it seemed it was either you buy it or someone else will. The construction manager is very responsive and hardworking, kudos to him

The communication is horrible. After I bought my home Nate never responded to a question I had I guess all he cared about was his initial review. Paint is chipping left and right, paint all over our deck, our island is not straight, the granite is not sealed so stains have already happened, things weren’t painted trim wise on the outside of the home. Blue tape left in spots that were supposed to be fixed. Garage remotes stolen at close, everything was very cheaply done and terrible workmanship. There is an excuse for everything and am immediate defense when you ask/question things. Not happy and would never use Lennar again or recommend. We are very satisfied with our new home.

I don't feel that the materials used were of great quality. The blinds don't go all the way to the window sill and aren't level, the faucets don't seem of a good quality, the front porch had something brown left that is raised from the cement, the ruckus was not installed properly.

Everything was super easy and we are in love with our new home!

From the sale, through construction, through customer care, Lennar has built an exceptional team. Any inspection concerns were addressed immediately. We have purchased five new homes from five different builders over the years. Any builder can close the sale and fade away. Not the Lennar team. The team at Kennedy Farm is the best we have ever experienced.

How condescending and demeaning the loan process was. How I thought I would be getting certain things in my home and didn’t. The poor craftsmanship and cheap materials from which the homes are built. The lack of security on the construction site during construction and after.

We love the house but not used to doing all paperwork on the computer

On the building end of things, most things were fine. Construction was great to work and incredibly helpful. Of it weren’t for the helpfulness and caring of the construction team, I don’t know what we would have done. The same goes for the loan department. They were always there to answer questions and provide guidance. However, the sales team was far from the quality I expected. From day one, we were not treated kindly. Concerns and questions, if answered, were short and dismissive. When farther along in the process, an incredible lack of communication made the closing process beyond frustrating and overwhelming. At one point, I was called about flooring and treated rudely because they(sales office) had an oversight and wanted me to rush in picking flooring. I was belittled and was even given wrong information about my contract. So much so, I had to get my copy and direct the sales team to the page so I could verify the flooring purchase. In the last two weeks of the sale, there managed to be so little communication that I was out a refrigerator and a washer and dryer. The communications with the sales team at that point were inexcusable. I was finally able to contact upper management where things were handled with more tact. You would think that a sales team would be more communicative, helpful, and understanding as buying a home(let alone a new build) is not something people do every single day. It would have been nice to be treated with more care and appreciation from the sales team. Outside of that, we are loving our home and the care from the construction team we continue to receive! Everyone on-site was very attentive to my questions and needs regarding my new home.

Good follow up from buider

Really enjoyed the builder sales rep, construction site manager, and customer rep. All three have customer service personalities and are easy to communicate with. They also respond quickly.

Low quality and poor craftsmanship.

Lennar has been great -- friendly, responsive, prompt. Whoever did the appliance install is a different matter: the hot water did not work due to a melted connection, the microwave had been dropped, damaged and nevertheless installed, and the dishwasher install caused damage to the cabinet trim. Might want to review relationship with that subcontractor.

This was my first experience buying a house and they make it awesome!!

The entire experience went very smoothly. The home is beautiful and the Lennar people have been great.

I’m a first-time homeowner so I was really nervous going into this process but the Lennar staff was very helpful and made everything easy. They seem like they have a real good handle on their business, they were pandemic-ready with digital forms and staff members who were very responsive to text messages and emails. My dream home turned out wonderfully. I was very happy with the quality of the home as well as all of the included amenities.
