We were told that we could put our own bushes and trees in when we moved in. When we arrived there were trees and bushes installed that we were not happy with. they gave us no choice in selection or location. We were told trash cans must be stored in the garage or we needed a cabinet on the side of our home to keep them in that meet the HOA's specifications. An approvals from city also required.

First, the master bath counter was cracked. They came out to replace it but then they caused a leak under the sink. They came out again, and it was still leaking. Had to ask my plumbing friend to repair. Then they never explain that the water heater needs to be in a different mode during the wintertime. We took a cold shower because there wasn't enough hot water. We came back from our overseas vacation and the kids had a cough and cold but the heater didn't work. This is the time we are turning on the heater. We requested service and they didn't come out until the next day They couldn't figure out the issue and said we may need a new unit. In the meantime, we are using portable heaters and they draw too much electricity that it kept shutting off the circuit breaker. They have not given us an update on our unit. It is freezing in the house. So far I have lost trust in Villara heating and plumbing. During the walk-through thru they did not turn on the HVAC unit to test both heat and air conditioning. ... The purchase was one of the best values on the market. The team was very helpful and Professional throughout the whole process.

Throughout the home buying process we were sent many documents and forms with errors then pressured to sign them even after we asked for them to be corrected. Details like the home address and payment amount were not correct, as well as other important details that make a big difference when buying a home. Trevin seemed to be the source of many of these major errors and even after speaking to him on the phone they failed to be fixed. We constantly felt like we were being mislead by representatives from Lennar with many different parties saying very different things, often times contradictory. Overall the communication was extremely poor and Lennar needs to do a better job training its employees how to properly share information. As far as the home itself, we have found many details that seem like they were completed hastily during building and will need to be fixed. ... More

Everything in the house is wonderful I so happy with my home I recommend the people that looking for a house contact Lennar.

Overall, the process was very fast as we were in a rush to buy. Many documents were needed, and we were asked to resubmit the same documents at least 8-10 times, instead of me submitting to one portal where everything could be accessed. There were times where I felt we were not the customer in the process, and we seemed like a bother for not knowing certain processes, though we were first time buyers and could have used proper guidance. Tristyn and Shane were AMAZING. They both did their absolute best and went above and beyond to communicate well with us and be those guides during this process. The rest of the process was not that great, but Tristyn and Shane were such a help. Though I am happy with my purchase and quality of my home, I wish the process was a bit more welcoming. ... More

Things have definitely changed in the home purchasing arena and not always for the better unfortunately!

From purchase to closing to move in to resolution of issues the Lennar team was competent, helpful and responsive to our questions and concerns. In a relatively short period of time we settled in and feel comfortable in our new home.

I believe working with your sales person Kimberly was great as she was very helpful and understanding. I had a medical issue and your area concierge and title personnel were also very helpful and supportive. So the overall buying and closing process was great. My disappointment now is with the Lennar decision to use Fision and Hotwire which is overpriced for the service received and the stupid HOA billing process.

The reason we chose Lennar is the next gen home plan.There was a frequent turnover of who is responsible and what papers are needed that could make you give up. I feel that we have a new person every time we call, one would say we need this the other would say we don’t. My 1st home when I bought it was brand new,it was solid built, craftsmanship is good.floors were easy to clean. Our new house feels sloppy. It was not built with care.craftmanship is poor- lines on the wall crooked as well as cabinets,airvents facing the wall. Floors are are to clean.my laundry room is too small putting a stackable washer/dryer is hard,with circuit breaker shutting off. Home buyers work hard to have a home that is ready,welcoming especially with this price, you expect a little more- even a soap holder in the bathroom would be appreciated. ... More

Great experience from start to finish

Lennar has been great to purchase our home with from the very beginning with Chris John who was absolutely the best in helping navigate the mortgage process and Josh Karcher who helped handle any small hiccups with surface related issues to everyone inbetween who expedited and responded internally Billy Degan Billy Cole and many others who were extremely supportive kind and responsive

I appreciate that the yard was completely done and the cabinets were nice but somewhat small. Nice place very quiet

Absolutely poor quality worksmanship well outside ROC standards the builder allows to pass inspections. Dealing with their finance team is a nightmare - failure to close on time due to their errors and still asking for more documents months after closing.

From the pouring of the foundation to the framing of the walls to the walls being put in I was here. I was constantly asking for the walk-in shower that I needed and never got. It was a need. Necessary for my wellbeing.You were more concerned about the quota than the welfare of someone health.

Lets start at the beginning. We came to Veranda preserve to purchase twin homes, for my wife and I, and for our daughters to live next door., Mind you we lived in the Tampa Area, before the purchase. First we told the salesperson that showed the homes, that we didn't want an electric compartment outside our home. Next we asked about fencing in both yards, without a divider fence. After we left the agent kept telling us what lots we were purchasing, but being a distance, we thought we were getting the house with the wood plank tile. Well at the first home walk through we were shown the the wrong home with the electrical compartment out on the lawn, and no wood plank tile flooring. Then come to find out WE HAD to install a divider fence WE still cant program the Ring doorbell and the Schlage deadbolt. Did the reset on the Ring quite a few times, and it wont connect. The Schlage deadbolts lights wont come on to program it. And just this week we had the AC go out. There was water in the pan. We drained the pan and line, but next morning the pan was full of water. The AC got fixed after we call Lennar for no AC. The problem was the drainage line was not properly installed, and the water wouldn't drain because of the angle of the hose. Then there is the minor things, like opening up the refrigerator, and the door hits the light switch. and Cabinet door handles hit the walls when opening. Oh lets not forget getting the glue off the floors or the sprinklers flooding both sides of the back ward. Being a Realtor, I shake my head at all the false things we were told, and the poor designing of the cabinets and refrigerator. I will be surprised if I ever get a response to this. My worst experience buying a home! I can’t even have a shed because the HOA said so. I’ve had to fix two doors because they don’t close. When I replaced the carpet with LVP, the amount of trash and debris swept under the trim was unbelievable! I have pictures. My yard looks like a construction site with the trash left in it. My vehicles need to be washed every 2 days because of the dust. Vouchers should be given for car washes. I don’t understand why when the sod is laid that that the good sod is in the front of the home and the crap sod is in the back. The sprinkler system only does the front and side of the home. I added additional rain bird sprinklers and fought through construction debris to get it installed. I’m fed up the Lennar and the price we paid for our home. My recommendation is don’t but unless you want and are able to deal with bull crap. ... More

This is my second new construction purchase and Lennar EXCEEDED my expectations. The team from start until closing made me feel heard!

Overall a good value. Not perfect, has flaws but builder has been responsive to item’s needing attention.

The home my wife and I purchased we absolutely love. It is definitely a great value and a lot thought and intention went behind the design. Solid materials are used and the only critique about the property itself would be the low quality interior paint, definetely recommend repainting the interior to a scuff resistant paint. However, the home buying process was very hectic. To get the best deal we had to sign all the contract paperwork in less than 36 hours and some of the paperwork wasn't received until a few hours before the deadline. Additionally, since Lennar is such a big company the left hand didn't seem to know what the right was doing. We were told to speak to one person for updates and then forwarded to another person. We would seek simple information and not receive an answer for a few weeks. Some questions didnt get answered until a few days before closing. To get all the closing credits from Lennar we also had only 30 days to close which made everything really hectic. The 30 days wouldn't have been as bad if we received prompt responses and were better guided through the process. On our closing day we came back to the home for the first time to see someone had left poop in one of our bathrooms. We reported it and were immediately contacted by management who did apologize and advise that the matter was being investigated. However it left a sour taste in our mouths in what was supposed to be a joyous day. ... More

Loan officer Craig was horrible and I almost lost the Lennar home based on all the mistakes he was making. Sam and Jennifer were great
