I had a bad experience with Lennar throughout the construction process and even after completing the house construction. Construction manager was terrible, he does not care about what you are saying, even he does not listen to you. Whatever you say he simply says that is what it is. I wanted to go for the prepurchase inspection and asked the construction manager several times that was everything ready, he said yes every time but, on the inspection, day we noticed water meter did not get installed and house was messy everywhere, toilets were messy I concerned about it several times, but ...

This has been a nightmare. I moved my whole life across country only to have non stop repairs, I have to fight for on a daily basis. The quality and workmanship is non existence. Cheap and shotty work. I have spent more money of my own to correct all my issues. I would not recommend this builder. You have to stay on everyone as warranty does not respond. I had to go hirer up and threaten social media just to get some repairs handled. All I do is cry anymore. I made a HUGE mistake buying a Lennar home.

So many issues to fix. They forced me to close on the unit even though it wasn’t ready! Lennar kept my money since November!! The closing took place in February! I still have open tickets that haven’t been resolved. Not happy. Plus I was promised pools, restaurant, gym. Nothing had been built !! No Pool for us to use and it’s summer already. Terrible. Of course we are pushing full Maintenance:

Nightmare with Lennar

I would never in my life recommend buying a home with Lennar to my worst enemy. From the sales rep, Orin, being so uniformative and having horrible communication. I actually lost out on the same house I purchased that couldve been $20,000 less but in the middle of signing and trying to pay earnest money Orin stopped responding and we lost the house. I've never even met the "man" in person. We were never told about the ONLY 20ft of grass and found out on our final walk through with no option to add more. I would advise people look to other builders. Lennar is a joke, the salesman destroyed any hope I had and refused to meet us. When we closed I basically demanded he not show up to hand us our keys. The construction manager is nice as hell and very responsible but always running around having to put out fires from the crappy work these subcontractors do! If you see a Lennar sign… keep driving! Don’t stop and look and end up loving the area and home… because dealing with these clowns is not worth it.

I closed on my home in Feb 2023. Prior to closing, I found items in one of the closets. This is a new build, no one should have left anything in one of my closets! A few weeks later, I had a sewer backup in my half bath that saturated half of my livingroom. The issue was baby wipes that were flushed. When I took photos of the items in my closet, there was a pack of baby wipes with the items. This happened over a month ago and I'm STILL trying to get this situation taken care of. Total nightmare dealing with Lennar!

The whole experience with Lennar has been a nightmare. Dealing with the construction manager and his boss was a horrible experience. On the first walk through we used 2 rolls of blue tape for the discrepancies. Then things went downhill from there! The tile was messed up in both bathrooms shower areas, with a long list of other issues. Then 10 days later, I went back to do the walk through to close on the house and there had not been 1 thing done to correct the issues. The first wind storm the shingles are flying off the roof. The refrigerator that came with the house has a box cutter gash down the handle two big scratches on the left side on the right side. It doesn’t make ice and it sounds like it’s a car parked outside of my house all night. Lenar says they are not responsible and Frigidaire says they’re not responsible. The house came with ring security system. All of it installed upside down on every door. The window coverings put up very poorly. Someone can see in my bathroom window easily. The garage door has a dent and it does not lock.Sad

Buyer beware of what you are getting into with Lennar at Lorraine Lakes. Poor communication from Bobbi the sales agent, a terrible experience with Fernando the "construction manager" and deception from both individuals when it came to the closing issues on our new $700k+ home. Craftsmanship was horrible. We were so depressed with the process. The finishing work is terrible, cabinets crooked, floors not done well, paint everywhere, windows mismatched and low quality, fixtures not installed right. Cheap, cheap, cheap. I do not know how you can increase prices and decrease quality. It’s very sad but everyone should be warned

Once they hook you into buying you are no longer important. Our concerns are placed on the back burner. Been waiting 6 wks. for weeds to be cut and grass to be planted. House looks like a jungle outside. Even had a snake show up. Sprinkler has been on and never shut off .6 wks. and still receiving guests to a rocky and weedy front yard.

SEWAGE OVERFLOW

2 days after moving in to the new construction home my downstairs bathroom had a sewage back up and overflow. I had 6 inches of sewage in my entire bottom floor of the house. Bayonet was sent out to scope the lines and clear the clog, they found construction rags blocking the path and the cause for the over flow. This over flow ruined almost all of my furniture and everything in the boxes that had not been unpacked yet sitting in my living room. And this new rep is rude and arrogant. I’m glad I don’t have to work a lot with the new rep besides some electronic paper work. In fact I never met the new rep. Since we close the house we have lot of issues especially dishwasher not working at all Lennar suppose to solve this push to Ge the front and back they never finish brick work in side lot of places paint on floor final finishing is very bad we spend lot of money now we have to do it our self every time you call they said this is not us we dont cover lots small things never finish again workmanship is very bad
