The sales team to start is beyond wonderful until you sign that contract, then you become a number. You better shut up and not make them work either, otherwise they will demean and demoralize you in hope that they can tear up the contract and sell it at a higher price. The workmanship is a joke. The house is literally falling apart left and right and warranty claims that I have put in in October still aren’t fixed at the end of January. I had an incredibly awful experience with the customer service of Lennar. The company did not work in a timely fashion for necessary community approvals, but did not disclose this until the evening prior to closing. Days with an unknown closing date followed with Lennar completely lacking in communication, concern that my household goods were already on their way from across the country, and telling me on multiple occasions that I should be calling the government agency to get the approval faster. After living in the home for a week, you start to notice the cheap materials use and terrible workmanship. All of our knobs had tiny paint splatter, the carpet wasn't vacuumed - not even once (we have a toddler running around), dried paint can be found throughout the home, nails still protruding out through the carpet to name a few issues. Overall terrible experience, we felt rushed through our new home orientation and caught what we can.

My experience with Lennar, it's been a nightmare to say the least from the beginning to the end. My first walk through was a disaster, no electricity and the house looked like been hit by a hurricane, 2nd walk through was not much better house was dirty patches on walls, carpet had paint and dry wall stains everywhere, doors and trims weren't finish, tiles in both showers needed to be replace, cabinets and pantry were missing shelves, all 3 pocket doors needed to be replaced and the list goes on. 4 months after closing we are still waiting for all this to be completed. Lennar does, under no circumstances, care about its buyers. They knowingly (construction manager admitted it) cut corners to get homes done in time. They then fail repeatedly to schedule contractors to fix the cut corners. Sales is an entirely different nightmare.

Finnished home is nothing like the model homes, from staged lamps in living rooms with cords hidden under rugs were no outlets are provided, to trim tile in showers that isn’t put in actual homes. Overall quality is terrible, Door openings uneven, lights not centered, outlets in wrong places, internet wiring frayed in walls/connectors loose, appliances not correctly hooked up, light switches not working, yard with construction debris all over, landscaping a mess!

I understand the labor and material shortage due to COVID but want get the new home completed even with delay. However, the new home has many items not finished such as the garage door. We have been forced to accept new house with many uncompleted things and defects. We have given Lennar construction supervisor a list of things need be improved but has nothing done so far.

Don’t purchase a new house because they put them up too fast with many errors. The homes are not sealed and protected from outside rodents. Let wide open while being built and rodents nest in these new home and the builders deny resolving the issue.

Never met my sales guy. Wasted money on a flight after getting direction from the sales guy. The loan office gave poor customer service. I understand they are under pressure for year end closing but... not acceptable. Quality of the home build is below standards. Based on my overall experience I will never purchase Lennar

Lennar insisted that they pay off my car with proceed from my sale in Atlanta. Payoff sent was 1000.00 over price and this money could have been put on mortgage. Lenders were VERY unresponsive, All of Lennars team except for one person in title were horrible at their job and never on the clock or in the office. Took more than 24hours for a return call and them they did not know anything.

These has been a nightmare for me. The apartment was not ready at the time of close but under threat of losing money they forced me to close. 60 days after not a single Lennar employee has come to fix the 26 issue that I have in the apartment. Do not trust Lennar Sales team or you will pay the consequences.

This is not our first new home purchase, but this was by far the worst. I am having a very bad experience with getting issues corrected on a home I closed on Nov. 30th and paid way over asking price. The electrical company is yet to show up to install electrical fixtures, havent showed up 2 times already. Cabinet doors not set correctly, installed the wrong closet doors, grout in tile has all damages and dirt imbedded in it. Closet shelves are all crooked. I am very disappointed with what I am dealing with!!

Lennar is a good builder who builds affordable homes. But significant attention is needed in the workmanship and review process after each phase of the build. When a house was delivered to us, we were initially happy until we started noticing issues almost in every aspect of the new house. At some point the workmanship and readiness of drywalls/carpets etc. made us feel like the house was built on a hurry just to meet a date. We were and are excited about moving into the community of Ave Maria. Our purchase of the Ariaballa not so much! The quality and workmanship of this build has alot to be desired. Lennar was quick to take our money and when we notified them of the several issues it seems to have landed on deaf ears. From garage overhead doors that don't function, to missing trim, missing shower doors, several damaged and marked cabinets, and a long list of other items. Our suggestion would be to run as fast and far away from Lennar as possible!

I was told the carpet was back order then all of sudden I have brown carpet with gray floors. Like seriously, everything else has a color match yet brown carpet is thrown in the mix. This was a HORRIBLE experience especially as a first time homebuyer. I understand delays because of COVID, but no reason for the craftsmanship to be so poor. I can’t even get in contact with anyone to come out and fix the piece in our contract that they legally have to fix and we closed 3 months ago! The communication has been TERRIBLE after we signed our commitment. Closing kept getting delayed because no one wanted to do their job. There was so much trash including beer cans on the property during building. I would NEVER recommend a Lennar home.
