Not responsive to quality of workmanship and materials.

Irresponsible project manager and low quality of workmanship. My worst experience ever from buying a new home in years.

Very Bad. experience. Terrible craftsmanship.

We were given the opportunity to "punchlist" the home and many of the items were either unaddressed or the tape marks remained after we moved in. The craftsmanship was really poor, as well as the quality of materials. The project superintendent talked down to all of us on the buyer side, including arguing over a clear code violation until it had to be escalated above his head. It was very clear that the priority was speed to market and margin over any sort of pride in their work or customer satisfaction.

Would not build with Lennar again

This is not the first time our family purchases a Lennar home which is the reason we are shocked and disappointed by the poor experience. Our home was delayed and finished months later than expected. At closing, items were not finalized. We were promised these items would be addressed in a timely matter. It has been months since closing and the customer service rep and construction manager are not responding to our inquiries as to when the “temporary items” will be finalized. To top it off, the interior finish has several poor quality products that were visibly damaged at installation. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. This home was poorly built. We has purchased a Lennar home before so it made sense to stick with Lennar as our MUCH less expensive home was built much better. I'm embarrassed to tell ppl about this $600K home because of the crooked walls, terribly low quality &very poor workmanship. Up until this purchase I raved about Lennar. No more! Now I guide ppl away from Lennar at all costs

Lennar use to have a great reputation for a builder but all has changed today. They try maybe not enough workers but Lennar is not what it use to be. One reason I bought this house is because of Lennar's reputation but all has changed. Maybe this note will help them go back to the quality they use to have instead of trying to build more house than they can handle. Thank you!

Not great, very disappointed with process

Very poor craftsmanship,from the wood framing ,siding,tile,etc.Would not recommend Lennar at all.

They only mean business. They dont care if u missing something. They only nice when u buying. After u complained, They just ignored u. Basically do it yourself kinda thing. Lennar care is good thou. They help u out. Others, thry only good when they dont receive the money yet.

I had a very unpleasant experience. I had bumpy walls that had to be redone after moving in. The frame had to be shaved off. Water leak from the kitchen ceiling after rain. Fireplace malfunction and not practical for use.

Stay away from lennar, costumer service disappears the second you sign the contract. Furthermore they will lie to you about the build quality and potential issues the house might have until you have signed. Do yourself a favor and find a different builder.

Don't ever buy a house over the internet. I used my daughter for help, but my biggest mistake was not coming to Las Vegas myself. I had to buy the home as is, not thinking Lennar did not take care of this house. Its too many things to mention that is wrong with this house, but I'm paying for it now. Never Again !!!

I recently bought a home with Lennar and it was a horrible experience all around. Worst customer service but I could have been ok with that had the workmanship been up to par however when I did my walk through cabinetry molding was literally hanging from the ceiling, floors were the wrong color, tack strips were completely exposed under the carpets resulting is blood being drawn multiple times from stepping on them, no appliances or hot water, and that’s just to name a few of the many issues found just based on workmanship. When confronted with the obvious poor work we were met with “this is normal” and “you can only expect that level of workmanship from a full custom home.” If I could go back in time I would never work with this builder again mainly because they refuse to even make things right. I understand things happen but when you gaslight a customer and refuse to fix the mistakes made that speaks volumes about a company. ... More

Choice is theirs. But do not expect a lot. Quality might be lot lower than expectation of buyers. Everyone who saw my house felt sorry for me. And check their included GE appliances especially. Not even buyers choice but buyers will have to deal with the problem.

It was a rough experience from the start. We had a sales man that was just that a salesman. It was tough to get updates because he has to constantly wait on someone else. It would be beneficial once locked in to be able to speak directly with the construction manager as there was a lot of inconsistencies. Even after telling them of the issues with the home early on, on the final walk through these issues were still present. Timeliness to get things fixed is practically having to stay on top of them because there is no action otherwise. It’s sad, the home itself the floor layout we fell in love with. But the whole process for us was a nightmare. From start to even now. We still have issues that are not corrected and it’s sad to say. To top it off, it just seems like bandaids or excuses for how things are. We were constantly told there is no issue for them to come back and say oh there is something missing because we had to continually press on the issue saying it’s not working properly. They should take faults in things that are done incorrectly and not try to cover it up with excuses. For a company that everything is included, customer service is not one of those things. ... More

It’s a well known fact that the pandemic has resulted in major delays due to limited supply - why Lennar doesn’t buffer their dates to be realistic and strings you on week by week is beyond me. In addition - City inspections failed due to obvious issues that a supervisor would have noted if they had actually checked. Lennar has turned into a “Reactive”builder and is no longer proactive about getting their homes done right.

From the beginning this has been a poor experience for me with Lennar. I was relocating from WA to AZ and was so excited that my wife and I were able to save up enough money to purchase a home. The sales person that was in-charge of the Arroyo Secco section never listed was worried about getting a commission more than understand what we were looking for. Because were were not in AZ we of course depended on Lennar team and her to give us the proper information and help us with the construction process. This was a mistake. It was hard to get a hold of people they would take days to respond or not give us the information. 3 different people reached out to us saying they would provide pictures/videos that only happened when I reach out to the them. I had to continue to do this throughout the coming weeks. During the walk thru and the closing she just stopped by for about 2 min and left. We closed on our home Nov 4th during that time we found a few things that needed to be fixed and things during the walk through. We put in the work orders at the end of Nov and it's now Jan 2022 and it still has not been fixed. When workers do stop by they have no idea what they are doing and do not have any work orders our Construction Field Assistant who we are supposed to reach out for these issues never has any answers and I have to text him 2-3 times a week to remind him about updates. It's very exhausting. As a first time homebuyer this was a terrible experience for me. One of the reason we decided to go with Lennar was because of the Nextgen. My father in-law is retiring and we wanted to be able to have him live with us so this was a great option, but if it was not for that portion I would never have gone with this company. There are so many more issues not only with this house, but even with things like the sidewalk. They have had to replace my and both of my neighbors drive ways and sidewalk cause all the concreate was cracking and that's currently now cracking in the garage foundation. ... More

Mortgage process was more painful that an inquisition. Materials and workmanship is pretty cheap. House wasn't cleaned before handed over to me and it has way too many repairs that need to be done, the more toy look, the more you find. Won't recommend Lennar not even to my worst enemy.

Lennar charged my more than disclosures amount that I originally signed

Lennar is an extremely difficult company to work with. They only care about the bottom line, which is understandable, but only if you are actually providing the service and experience that you say you're going to provide in the first place. Lennar promises one thing and then provides something totally different. And when given the opportunity to make things right and/or fix the issues they created, Alex and their warranty department then distances themselves from any responsibility or accountability.
