Overall we were very satisfied, when houses are built this fast you would expect some defects

There is still things that aren’t been Finish my Dishwasher and the grass

Our home was built in a guinea pig of semi-custom home neighborhood at a luxury price point. The Lennar project managers and subcontractors do not understand how to complete a home of this nature that isn't their traditional entry level home offer with only A, B or C options. The timeline was well beyond what we were promised, the sub-contractors created so much havoc that Lennar had over 200+ items to fix at close, and fortunately, we did not use the Lennar financing team, so we were able to not be forced to close with 200+ issues wrong with our home. We had them fix the majority before we closed, and about 30 issues remained, and these took two months to fix beyond close only because I called and emailed relentlessly, and managed the sub-contractors myself in order to get everything done. Be prepared if you don't buy an entry level home that you will have a second full time job managing their project managers and subcontractors to get the home to the point where it can be inhabited and get what you paid for from them. We highly recommend purchasing a home with Lennar. From the moment we stepped in the sales office at we were greeted and made to feel welcome by the sales consultant. Being our first time to purchase a home we had lots of questions. But our sales consultant did everything to assure us and get our questions answered. Everyone we dealt with up until closing were very helpful, and made us feel like we mattered and appreciated our business. My husband and I highly recommend a Lennar home where "Everything is included" and it truly is.

The craftsmanship for this home was definitely lacking. Concrete Foundation: numerous area had to be refinished because much of the concrete stayed on the forms. I don’t know a whole lot but I’ve never seen concrete having to be refinished as much as this one. Drywall: Many imperfections were noticed after move-in. The house was originally painted in flat white. After repainting the house to a colored eggshell finish, a whole lot of imperfections and patches became visible. Interior corners were sprayed thicker with drywall and do not match the walls. Patches are very visible do not match either. Painting: The doors and trim were painted with a white glossy finish, however, as they painted the walls in flat white, the painted over the baseboards and merely smeared them in some areas. Condition at Transfer: The house was very dirty and needed immediate cleaning when it was handed over to us. I asked if all homes are handed to clients in this condition and was told yes. I purchased a new construction D. R. Horton property in June 2018. I decided to upgrade to a larger home and purchased a Lennar home in November 2019. The longer I live in the Lennar home I realized D. R. Horton is a better quality builder. The Lennar quality is just not there. The drywall is so thin you can't hang a lightweight picture without reinforcement. The wood flooring has several chips in places my family and I could not have damaged it. For example behind the toilet in the half bath. The ceiling still shows major flaws, corners of walls, not really corners have curves. The lawn is ridiculously rocky and literally have trash under the glass. I believe the yard should have at least been clean before laying sod. Those are the major issue, There are another dozen or so minor issues. I must say these issues are not the fault of the employees I worked with directly, they were absolutely great. ... More

Contacting the customer service with issues after purchase is not the best. They also hound you to Rate them with “10s” on their surveys, which is a turn off.

From the beginning of building our home to this day, I have had issues with building my home. It started with not being able to upgrade our kitchen, even though I was the first person to pick a lot in the new phase. I later find out that others were able to pick the upgraded kitchen. I then had a home inspector check on the home before drywall and found 30 plus items that needed to be addressed, which major items were not addressed at the time when it was easier for everyone, but later when drywall was already installed. I closed on the home and was unable to enter the home due to keys not working. The grass in my backyard needs to be replaced due to the condition and it should be St Augustine grass like my neighbors, but Lennar put cheaper grass. I then find a leak in one of the bathrooms that leaked to the master bedroom and master closet. I still have multiple issues with the tiles in the bathrooms, painting, walls throughout the house, cabinets in the kitchen, floors upstairs that are uneven, exterior wall damage from the water leak, driveway that needs to be redone due to damage prior to moving in, garage door needs to be painted, electrical issues with outlets, grout issues in the bathrooms, and many more other things. Overall very happy with everything. The house is great and we love the space plan. It is very function for our day to day. We love the cabinets in white and the countertops. We did replace lighting and plumbing fixtures that were basic but I understand the need to put in generic items so that you please every buyer. There were a few gouges in a couple of our doors, those marks were on the "red tape walk", they were coved up but not well and those still show but we can live with those small things.

If I could do this all over again and the house was Free I wouldn’t go Lennar!!! Save yourself the headache! Please go with another builder. I could write a book with how many things went wrong from the loan process to now . I bought my home nov 2019 and I still cannot use my master bedroom because of poor worksmanship DO NOT BUY LENNAR ! Truthfully they don’t even deserve one star.

Promises made are not always promises kept. We still have stickers on the outside of our windows and construction debris in our yard. I have no plants growing in my flower beds and the palm trees are only alive because we are watering them. The sink materials are plastic. Make sure everything is done before you close or it won’t get done for months.

Very satisfied with the purchase .

I have had multiple issues and most have been resolved. My garage floor is making me extremely upset because there are multiple cracks in the cement floor. They extend outside of garage and stop at pavers. I was told that do to coronavirus I would have to wait for them to take a look at it. When I bought a house from Pulte the garage floor was so perfect I was able to put epoxy and sprinkles that made it beautiful.

Please don't close on your house until all issues ate resolved .

After moving in to our newly purchased home we noticed that the finish on the stairwell was spotty and uneven. We contacted Chris in the warranty department and shared out concern. He came out and inspected the problem and agreed that it was not up to par and arranged for the painters to redo it. They did a great job the second time around and we are very pleased with the results. Thanks Chris and thanks Lennar.

Your survey arrived a little before ‪4:30‬ this morning, and shortly AFTER the Lennar contracted cement crew working on the lots behind our house. They were here ‪at 4:20 am‬. I know these are extraordinary times we are living in, however, I don’t believe those circumstances warrant a pre-dawn work site start with loud equipment and lights shining into our home. Nor does it excuse the complete lack of follow-up communication from Lennar regarding our ongoing defective lighting, untethered toilet, & two missed appointments to correct our warranty issues. Unless of course this survey is indeed that promised communication. Working with the sales office was great. We have no issues with the actual transaction. However, the quality of the home we purchased, and lack of subsequent customer service from the warranty side of Lennar’s business have left me so dissatisfied, I could never recommend Lennar to another home buyer at this point. ... Material selections limited to colors. Nice being able to move in with everything included like blinds and refrigerator plus set up as a smart home. Quality is better than the other builders in our development.

We are enjoying our new home, but as we actually live in the place we have started to noticed a few things. I think one of the biggest issues is a lack of quality workmanship. There are paint splatters everywhere, we even have a paint footprint in our entryway. Didn't notice it at first because it blends in with tile colors but when the light hits it just right....boom...there it is. Speaking of the tile floor...several high spots..nothing major...just enough to notice when you walk barefoot. Trim work....well a lot of chalk in some places to compensate. IN general a lack of care....we also have dried grout on our shower floor which so far I have not been able to remove. Is the house built well....I think so....I just wish they took more pride in their work. ... More
