Upon closing date we were told our Granite countertops could simply be cleaned with Granite cleaner... They had a very noticeable white film over them with circles and squares imprinted in it? After signing for the home, We purchased a good granite cleaner and it did no good, it looks exactly the same. We were told a one year warranty would cover any issue? NOT TRUE, After we submitted a work order for repair, five months later they said it's not covered by the warranty? DO NOT SIGN during closing until EVERYTHING IS COMPLETED TO YOUR SATISFACTION! Look with a magnifying glass!

I love my home and I hate the fact that I live across the street from a new Lennar Town Home that someone is using like a Hotel.They have 10-12 renters at one time living there that move in and out every few weeks or so.I was never told this or I would have found a better location.I gave you overall poor scores due to this and at some point I will sell this home and go find a new home.

Asked several times to the office manager, who is not responsible for any warranty service call and has never returned or suggested where to call for the warranty repairs!

I would not recommend buying from Lennar until they can figure out their customer service issues and solutions to their problems. It appears you have to get a lawyer and threatened with a lawsuit to get anything done with Lennar. My own daughter was looking at homes and refused by Lennar because of the issues we went through in the past three months of living in a brand new home with nothing but problems.

It was a nightmare from beginning to end. I could write a book about the horrible experience we have had with the entire home buying process with Lennar. They threatened to sell my home to someone else if I didn't come here, from NC and close when they wanted me to during the "Peak" of Covid-19 here in Las Vegas, now I wish I had let them do that!! I would NEVER recommend them to anyone! Construction was not performed properly, painting was atrocious, flooring was also terrible, many other things were wrong and I'm here 4 months, with very little fixed at this point. I wish I could get my money back and buy elsewhere. I'm thinking about hiring an attorney to do just that!! ... More

It hasn’t been 5 months and our cabinets are ready to come off the wall. I wished I had did more research on Lennar construction.

I had Lennar build me a home in Liberty Village Goose Creek, SC 5/2020 and what a terrible unprofessional experience it has been. Do not allow them to con you into closing when there is outstanding work or issues that remain. They will tell you they guarantee they will fix your issues, and that problems are tracked by the Charleston office, and then blow you off as they did us after closing. Look them up in Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs. Their work in Florida is even worse than SC. Definitely go with another builder. The floor in the picture is where my dresser sits on top in the Master Bedroom. The dresser shakes and rattles and the attached mirror shakes violently when I walk past. Lennar says no problem noted and they refuse to fix. You can clearly see rotten wood they used for flooring/framing. The pic of the roof displays a group of nails shot up thru from the inside. There were actually 2 areas like this on my roof. One would think the worker repairing this area would have caught this but, the homeowner had to notice from the ground level. We asked the worker to walk the entire roof and check for more nails but, apparently too difficult. Lennar doesn't care. Another pic is of the threshold transition to the garage they couldn't make right so they use 3 types of wood. Mud dripping over the door frame so they just paint over it rather than remove. Puddles of wetlands liquid come up thru the driveway expansion joints, daily. Can't hammer a nail or miter molding. Just paint over it. Lennar says, no extra charge. Enjoy! ... More

I would never buy another Lennar home. Terrible builder, shoddy workmanship and cheap materials. You definitely do not get what you pay for.

The houses are poorly built not enough insulation between floors trim work is shoddy too many items to mention on this I wouldn’t recommend their homes

We purchased a Lennar homeMay 5th, the salesperson was well aware of our wants for the home we purchased. We are unable to act on these wants since the salesperson never made us aware of an easement at our property along with 5 more adjacent homes. None of us were made aware of the easement until architechiral requests were submitted. The trustworthiness of the sales people are questionable. We have had to call the warranty people over the last 3 months for many failures in the building process. We are not even acting on some of the failures in the building process due to the disturbance it would create to bring them to a satisfactory state. I would definitely think before acting in another purchase of a Lennar home. ... More

I have been dealing with an open issue at my new home since we closed on 10/21/2020. I have in writing that if the front and back yard does not grow correctly, Lennar will replace. I have a huge gap in my front door, I was told the part is on back order and they will get back to me soon. its been 6 months that we have lived with a gap that you can see daylight from, 6 months. they are unfilled holes in the front of the house above the garage, the front shingles were put on with very little workmanship! I was told the excess glue and shingle would me cut off/wiped away, that never happened and its been 6 months. I asked for something simpler like help with the sprinkler system my knowledge rep never cared enough to reply. I was promised a screen sliding door for the mishaps. that never came! I expect more from a Company of this standard. I have lost all faith in Lennar. ... More

Poorly built home. Horrible customer service. would never buy another Lennar home

Extreme difficulty getting service requests addresses. Sometimes no response at all. We have requests from December that still haven’t been addressed. For what we paid for this home we sure expected a whole lot more from workmanship and responses to issues.

Demand to have access to every phase of construction. If you are an absentee buyer, hire a home inspector to oversee the project.

I have nothing but poor things to say about Lennar and I would tell people to NEVER purchase a Lennar home. The quality of workmanship and Material is below grade the house is way overpriced for the quality and products used in the home. There is zero trustworthiness, they have the worst sales people and construction people and they don't respond at all to any issues during the building process. They deserve much less than a 1.

We were promised a bigger backyard with a brick wall for our home. We originally were going to purchase a different lot that was cheaper, but were offered our current home because the backyard was bigger. Of course, you would have to pay a bit more for a bigger lot. Come one week before closing, right during our walk through, they told us that our backyard would have a slope fence. Imagine our perplexed face when they literally told us this one week before closing. They still had the nerve to tell us, you can still back out on the house if you are not satisfied. Okay lady, yea let me just live in the streets while I find another home. Had this been mentioned months earlier, we would at least actually have a realistic opportunity to back out on the purchase. We were very adamant about having our backyard that we paid more for done correctly. But no, they completely ignored our request. Very dishonest and untrustworthy, sneaky people. So now our backyard’s width has 3 feet of unusable space. That may seem little, but when you already have a ridiculously small back yard, 3 feet makes a huge difference. The cherry on the top of all of this was during our one month walk through. The lady apparently thought it would appropriate to say “So has the backyard grown on you?” Who does that?! Walls are off centered, basebroad are crooked, bad craftmanship all across the broad, all they want is your money; no one took the time out to make sure that the house structure is centered properly. It is a pain the be dealing with: toilets weren't flushing properly, dry lawn, spiders, ants, and bugs all over your home. cracked bathroom mirror, chipped bathroom tub, chipped appliances, long grooved on window, etc. It is a pain living in our new home and dealing with all these issues so early; no one takes the blames.....

While I love the neighborhood specifically it’s proximity to Jet Blue Park( home of the Boston Red Sox spring training) the quality of work and materials used is extremely poor and defective and has not been corrected!

Quality of workmanship is horrible. Materials used are cheap and very low quality. Every issue I have brought to their attention to be fixed has been answered with a response of " that's just how it is" or "there's nothing we can do about that now" or "if we fix it, it could create even more problems or make it worse". Would not recommend Lennar as a builder to anyone.

This is our 3rd home we have built. 1st Richmond American, 2nd Standard Pacific and 3rd Lennar. From the purchase process to construction to workmanship to customer service we have had a horrible experience with Lennar. We thought we knew what we were getting into having built homes before but this was by far the worst all around.

Sales was great at making everything seem perfect. But the house we got had unpainted surfaces, bad craftsmanship, and cheap carpeting that’s falling apart. I would be wary of using Lennar again

We still have construction issues and so do a lot of my neighbors

I regret buying with Lennar every single day. Materials used for construction are extremely cheap. Customer service and guarantee suck: stay away from this company
