Poor materials and worse craftsmanship. Not trustworthy. They don’t deliver on their commitments. Their contractors are inefficient and extremely wasteful. I would not recommend Lennar communities.

The granite counter in the kitchen appears to be of second quality with chips along the edges and even in the center, it lacks that rich, smooth feel usually found on good quality granite. The kitchen and vanity cabinet doors were not properly adjusting banging into walls and other cabinets. A tremendous amount of drywall debris and dust in brand new duct work being sucked into the air handler in the attic and blown throughout the vents of the home. Cracks in cement driveway going from one side all the way over to the other side, sealed and then painted so as not to be noticed but instead it makes it even more noticeable. EVP flooring that is nothing more than cheap linoleum that dents and chips so easy that you become afraid to even walk on it and we never wear shoes indoors. Wood handrails get stained but then are not properly sealed leaving them very rough to the touch. I could go on but I think that you get the message. You need to be a mountain goat to mow the yard, when we picked our lot it was at the very beginning all of the land was gently sloping. Now they are terrible lots. Also the homes in this community seems to be all variations of blue/grey....it's like living in a housing project for section 8 occupancy. ... More

It was comfortable easy & fast

Lennar home buying experience was great. Our salesperson, Chris, Construction manager, Kurt, and title team were both very helpful and responsive. They answered all our questions and concerns timely. Lennar makets their homes as "Everything is included" and this can be a little deceiving. We have a smart home and that is great but I would have much rather had all my rooms wired for cable and internet than having an Alexa or Amazon show in my home. Our home only came with the living room and master bedroom wired so we have had to spend extra money out of pocket to have cable and internet installed in our home. And I will say their warranty department has definitely soured my home buying process. Trying to get a warranty issue handled takes months to get addressed and even then you get a run around of them second guessing whether it is covered under warranty or not. Our yard and our neighbors yards are clearing having flooding issues due to grading in our yard and we are still waiting for a resolution. If you say you are going to respond within a day then respond and don't make me chase you down to get an answer on the status of my warranty claim. ... More

Lennar did great work!

The entire home buying experience was great. Being a first time buyer, I was scared and filled with anxiety. Lennar put my fears at ease which reduced my anxiety overall. I’m extremely happy with the everything included concept. From RING to the laundry sink. The workmanship is very good. I’ve only experienced a couple of minor issues. These were taken care of without question and resolved in just a few days. The move in process was easy. You are set up with a walk through and anything noted is taken care of before you take possession. I’m extremely happy with the entire process from the beginning and even after moving in. I can’t count how many times Lennar has checked in with me to ask if I was happy with the home and if I had any issues they could help with. ... More

Cheap materials and low quality customer service. Recommend house inspection before you move in

Landscaping is poor. No weed barrier on mow hill. Garage completed without a primmer coat, which is horrible. Trouble matching interior paints. Response time to have issues completed is sub-par. Sales team was amazing, huge props to Rosalie and Kathy.

My overall home buying experience was very good. The team was awesome and very knowledgeable. They made my transition in buy my new home very smooth. I really appreciate Lennar as good cooperation to purchase a home.

Sprinkler guys did a lousy job. Sprinklers are too deep they didn’t plan for the sod height or level the yard well. Already have had to re-caulk master shower and kids bathroom. Overall we are happy with our home.

Quality of workmanship and materials very poor we found many issues that needed to addressed numerous times, and are still dealing with them i.e paint splattered all over the floor tiles and the dishwasher not connected correctly caused a flood in our living room ETC.

Our move was great. When we needed help, they were their to help. Thank you so much!

Feel more care could have gone into details as well as the deep cleaning before move-in.

Do your homework. Really critique the model homes. Be vigilant during the building process. Submit tickets after you purchase.

Bottom of the line appliances; no insulation; thin walls, cheap fixtures.

Only problem we had was heat and air conditioning. We did not have a good experience with the workers that came out to help, they were very rude. Luckily, Julie who is such a pleasure to work with, took care of the problem.

Never buy a new construction home from any other builder. Lennar is the best. Hands down.

The layout of Lennar homes are beautiful. But after owning one, I’d say the quality is lacking. But we love our home and are working through various workmanship issues.

The whole process as first time home buyers was fast, easy, and fun! Everyone has been extremely helpful and they consistently reach out to us to Make sure everything is going well! :)

My wife and I have been very pleased with our purchase. This includes before the sale support and after the sale support.

Moved into our brand new house and eventhough all my issues, and there were many, (from sewer back up in plumbing, garage door stuck in open position, HVAC heat/cooling system not producing heat, toilet water leak, and water heater elements needing replacement) within the first three months of moving in. Not a pleasant experience.

We payed for a premium lot size and found out after closing when we went install a fence that we are missing 10 ft of side yard. After doing some research, this is a common complaint for Lennar and there is nothing you can do about it except make sure you have the land surveyed prior to the start of your build.

Incentives made it an easy choice to use their financing. No need to shop they beat everyone and we closed in 3 weeks!

It's been 4 months since we moved in, from multiple dishwasher leak to replacing floor in the kitchen, we've had multiple issues with the quality of construction. Especially the dry wall, sheet rock issues. Many corners are crooked & had to redo them. All the air vents had huge bulges which required cutting the dry wall & repairing them. It's been 4 months & the repairs continue & note that, all these were part of addendum during closing. Lack of communication & trust since the time we signed the PA. We were promised a full lot for $44700 lot premium, half of our lot is now covered in water. When we raised this issue during drywall meeting & closure, we were told nothing can be done. We have an written email stating our lot is full size justifying the lot premium & there's no pond water in our lot. However, that's not the case. We've escalated this issue 3 months ago, yet to hear back on this from Lennar. We decided to buy Lennar as many of our friends suggested the quality is good, however in the last year or so, the quality is going south is something we often hear in our community. We've paid $0.62M for a sub-standard quality & all the pains our family had to go through with no dishwasher for 3 months & no kitchen flooring for a month & yet we continue to wait to hear from Lennar on how they are going to compensate for this pain & make things right for us. Out of curiosity we've seen few other houses in our community, which is same model (including model house) which has lot better finish. We've had no construction manager monitoring the build due to attrition & seem like we are the only one in the community who's faced all these issues. I would request & great appreciate if Lennar can take this seriously & help rectify these going forward. Our celebration of closing on a house is far from being a celebration, rather a series of repair & pain in providing for my family with 2 young children. ... More
