There are too many issues to mention, so I’ll name a few. First we signed in August 2018 for a “quick move in” and was told it should be completed end of October or mid November. Delay after delay. We finally closed February 28, 2019 and there were still some things not finished. There were a lot of careless mistakes, poor paint job, issues with things, paint on floor, bathtub and light fixtures, yard was not leveled as they said it would be - there was a big hill in the backyard that wasn’t there when we signed to buy the house and we asked many times for them to level it and they ...

The salesperson, Stephanie Miller that we bought our home through did not make us aware of the upgrades that can be made during the purchase process. She also did not get back to us when we had questions. Chris and Dave have been exceptional in coordinating the techs to come and fix the issues in our home.

workmanship and materials are the worst

Everyone has been helpful however the grout in EVERY room is crumbling away and needs to be redone with a better product which is not covered on the warranty. My counter top is sagging and falling apart, I'm afraid to put anything on it. Like I said, everyone I dealt with to buy the house was great, but everything they used to build the house with is cheap and makes me feel like I over paid!

The workmanship was poor at best, the sales staff and closing were a disaster, the follow up with repairs has been, let's just say a nightmare. Some things still are not fixed and if I had to guess are not going to get fixed unless I pay for someone to fix them. Everything included does not mean everything... but they fail to tell you what normal things are not included. I am afraid to see what is going t happen to this house in say 5 years, I think most mobile homes are constructed better.

I wish I had better things to say about Lennar. We were rushed into closing on our home when it wasn't ready. It was presented to us filthy. Took us literally almost a month to get everything clean inside. We've had floor joist problems where the floors bounces when you walk on it. They added a support wall in the basement which did help but my brand new home should of had proper joists installed in the first place. The concrete company they use is awful. Our driveway is the worst I've ever seen. It's overworked, pitted, cracking/chipping and looks terrible. They're supposedly working ...

The Lennar home buying experience went well except for one thing. I had an unexpected medical issue and asked for an extension on the closing date. Lennar denied it and it almost cost me the home.

The building manager started out as a great asset to have in the area as we were moving in however, as time went on and more problems with the home occurred or cropped up he became less inclined to help or take responsibility for mistakes he had personally made; regarding our homes power and water supply line accounts in particular. The overall experience was good. We ran into delays but that’s expected. The sales staff was great, the customer care experience post closing has been great. The construction manager was average as he was not as detailed and peculiar as needed (thus resulting in lots of fixes afterwards). The worksmanship of the subcontractors used are average, could be better. However, any issues we’ve had since closing, they’ve addressed with no argument so that part of customer service is superb.

Throughout the entire process we had to keep contacting Lennar for updates. When contractors showed up at our house they rarely knew what to do. The quality of work was not great, paint dabs on the floor etc

Buying a home to Lennar you have to have a lot of patience, don't trust everything they say, specially time frames to fix things. Be extra cautious. And very detailed oriented at the time of closing as there will be a lot of things wrong or missing in the house. You'll have to take a lot of work time off to attend to all submitted warranty request. Also, pay close attention to the roof, rainy season just started in SW Florida and there are more than 5 recently built homes with tarps on their roof. Lennar rushed us to close at the end of the month but the house was not ready. I gave 1 star on craftmanship because we have so many issues. Tiles are not level, trim work is poor, lumps under carpet, upstairs floor uneven, just to name a few issues.

I a sense se are happy with our new home. The only issue we had is after you move and how responsive are the knolowgist. We have a lot of issues that still have not been taken care. For example our shower base in the bathroom we have on the master room came defective. A new shower base was put on but till this time have pass more than three weeks and we still not able to use it. The drywall and ceramic tile have not been installed yet. Our double blind was replace but the blind used was defective.

Cheap materials used throughout the home. When I bring issues up in the 1 year warranty, I’m told to wait until it’s closer to 1 year of being in the home before submitting problem tickets. Just overall bad experience. Will definitely go with a different home builder for the next home purchase.

Build quality and attention to detail was lacking. Be certain to make sure your house is completely finished before closing as they will attempt to rush it off the books. Once closed everything has to go through warranty. Interior painting option of very low quality. Save yourself money and have someone do it right the first time. They give you a credit to buy a gallon of paint but this will not match properly. I could go on but I’m sure other comments will address other issues.

1) Lawn was horrible at the time of closing. After 1 that I was told that it was layed months back without any property maintainanice. Due to this I have pay the expenses to replace it. 2) Restroom and others have issues 3) newly installed fridge needs repair Overall not happy of getting a brand new house and get these issues frequently

Dream home turned into problem

I had an amazing experience with the salesperson and the Mortgage company when buying my home but the quality and craftsmanship of the home is very poor. I have had nothing but issues since the purchase of the home. the major issues I have is water getting into my homes from the roof and window. this has been an ongoing issue that I thought was fix but as of today with the rain, I found out its not. I am totally frustrated and can't seem to get in contact with anyone high up in the company. I would not recommend the purchase of a lennar home.

The materials appear to be excellent; however, regardless of whether or not it's a new home, get yourself your own inspector--my guy found numerous items that should have been caught during normal QA by the builder. That being said, Lennar has been fairly responsive to my issues--almost all of which have been satisfied, which is greatly appreciated...timing aside. Ensure that you have someone clean-up after closing; Lennar told me this would happen after my closing but, based on my findings, it did not. Do NOT close until you have every single detail taken care of. After you close, Lennar will disappear and your issues will go without a response for a very long period. (to be fair with Lennar, I also bought a house from them in North Texas previously, and they were very effective, courteous, and prompt in dealing with any issues. My recent experience in Orlando, FL though it's almost like this is a completely different company. Night and day...

After five work orders and two telephone calls over a months time. i am still unable to use my kitchen sink, garbage disposal, and dishwasher. I had to cancel my house warming due to the lack of response from customer care and not being able to use my kitchen. Each time I submitted a request, I was told someone would contact me within 48 hours. It is now over 30 days, no one has contacted me, and I still can not use my kitchen..
