Getting anything fixed is like pulling teeth. Never hear from anyone and close out tickets without following up to make sure the repairs were completed

Definitely recommend financing and purchasing from Lennar.

We love the Butternut Creek Cascade station team. Whenever we had questions or needed help with anything in our home, they are always quick and friendly.

I was convinced that I would purchase a prebuilt home to manage costs and not have to pay for all the extras that most builders charge but after one look at Lennar everything's included options and the well designed luxury townhomes with smart home features in St Charles MD I quickly became a lennar homeowner. I was particularly impressed that after the sell both the sales team and customer care reps, especially Gail and Michael continued to go the extra mile and exceed my expectations in me getting settled in my new home. In my opinion Lennar builds more than homes, they build communities and their presence is felt in this county from sponsoring local baseball teams to organizing community meet and greets, lennar st Charles is NOT THE AVERAGE homebuilder and almost a year later after my purchase, they continue to exceed my expectations ... Put yourself in your best financial health, as to having the most control over your purchasing experience, i.e., credit score, income to debt ratio. This may sound like obvious advice, but I cannot emphasize this enough. Side note, inquire with the HOA about any personal things you intend to do on your property. I've had a nightmare.

Just know that if something is broken or not working properly be prepared to wait a loooong time to have it fixed because of mishandled scheduling issues with subcontractors. Also, the repair work can only be done on week days forcing you to take days off from work only to have the workers not show up which is incredibly frustrating. It's been almost 6 months without a working master bedroom shower

Lennar has been very efficient in fixing any issues under the warranty.

Disappointed to discover that our new home needs so many fixes/has so many deficiencies (including code violations). Would think that, for the price we paid, quality of materials and workmanship would have been better.

Bugs, bugs, bugs! We love our NexGen house except for the bugs. We've had 3 different exterminators out to try and get rid of them. I don't know what to do! I'm thinking we might just sell! I don't know how much clearer I can be! Not being vague at all!!!

Expect a long process. On the final inspection, take note of everything so the builder can fix it

We were able to get all the upgrades that we wanted in our home but we were disappointed with the size of the lot and the “lot upgrade fee” we were told that we would be facing our neighbors backyard so it would be from back yard to backyard but when the house went up half of my yard is covered by their home, their windows look right in to our yard and upstairs we are almost face to face. A lot of the things on the inside were not put on right, the cupboards doors keep getting loose, the lights keep loosening from the ceiling, there are “settling cracks” on the wall. The paint they use for the homes is the cheapest paint. We are 6 months in and there are dark spots all over the wall from where people or things touch because the paint is cheap Matte paint. The stair rails are painted with cheap white paint and already having grease marks on them, my carpet is coming off the stairs. They only had a few options for model of what fit in to the lot, if you look at all the homes that have the “same model” no home is the same, there is no consistency. I had to ask for a balcony light that was suppose the be added before we moved in as well as garage lights. They did fix most of this and they do a walk through at 1 month, 6 month and a year so I’m planning to show them all of the effects. Other wise it’s a good home. We love our Lennar home and our little neighborhood. Responsiveness on warranty work is a real problem. They are slow to respond and I have had to contact them multiple times on the same issues. I was also told that some of the things that were faulty was built to Lennar standards, which I find hard to believe.

This is our first new home buying experience and it was smooth and pleasant mainly because of Rob our builder. He held our hands and guided us through the whole experience. I think if he weren’t involved it probably wouldn’t have been nearly as pleasurable and fun. He is still instrumental in getting any of the warranty repairs taken care of.

We were very happy with our experience with Lennar until it came time to close on our home. There were several things not completed but we were told that as long as the house was structurally sound we needed to close even though we wished to wait till everything was done. Once we closed it was almost impossible to get them to come back and fix things even though we were told these would all be taken care of right away. We were continually given dates and times that trades would be coming to work on things, paint, cupboards, carpet, tile, windows, only to have them not show up or bother to call to say they would not be coming. I should also note that often when trades came they did an awful job and repeat visits were needed to resolve the issues. We literally had to texted our customer service rep every day in order to get the things done that needed to be. We also contacted a supervisor who promised to come see our issues and get them resolved as soon as possible. This supervisor never showed up and we were never able to get in touch with him again. It has taken almost six months to get the majority of our issues completed and we still have minor little things that still require adjusting. This is our third new house build and we have never had issues like this before. We love our home but we would not recommend working with Lennar until they can work on their lack of follow through and customer service. Getting a new home is suppose to be a fun and joyful experience but when you move into a brand new unfinished home that you need to fight with the builder to get completed it becomes very stressful and anything but joyful. ... In general the home seems to be well-built, and Lennar was responsive with issues our inspector found prior to closing. The house seems to be well insulated and reasonably efficient. The garages are deceivingly small and are not very wide or will allow a full-sized truck to be parked inside (too short). The driveways are also very narrow at around 12' wide - several folks have had contractors widen their driveways after purchase. There are minor workmanship issues around the house such as walls that aren't square, trim that isn't square, troweled joints in the sidewalks that aren't square, etc. The base Whirlpool range that comes with homes has a strange grate pattern and pots are not stable when stirring contents inside. The base double ovens seem to work well. The dishwasher had an issue with the gasket but we fixed that ourselves. One of our toilets is leaking at the base, however the rest of the plumbing seems to be OK so far. The quartz counters and subway tile backspalsh in the kitchen is nice, as are the finishes in the master bathroom. ... More

Have an inspection done before Lennar 1 year warranty is up. Lots of things to have corrected.

i hate it i am unhappy rude people unhelpful broken stuff in a brand new home cant wait till i sell

There is no follow up for punch list etc.

Repairs not taken care of as promised

unfortunately not all the holes needed to hang the hurricane shutters were not drilled. wirering for "smart house" didn't match what AT&T require wirering for microwave oven was not connected concrete mix used in garage and front porch crumbles easily

Wish they have more transparency in the process of buying and selling and working with their associates is not easy.

We’re very good to give updates on the progress when being built

One level living is the best plan ever! Tall ceilings add to the feeling of a larger home. Everything you need us accessible but not crowded. Only downsides: wish we had an outdoor patio space and a longer driveway.
