We have a pair of defective double panel window install and found out after we close the sale. Garding and landscaping need to work on how to manage the water drainage system works for the long term of the house. Buying a house is long term investment perhaps and I hope the builder can focus more on quality control and extend customer care after the house is closed.

The quality of the work is terrible. The finish is horrible. Walking on the carpet is like waking on the nails. I have heard a lot about Lennar but I think now this company prefer quantity over quality. I will never buy or refer anyone to get a Lennar home.

Awesome Home Buying Experience

I have never had a better home buying experience than with Lennar. From choosing a home to closing, Lennar always had out best interests in mind. They were never pushy or forceful to hurry up a choose a home or to go with Eagle Home Mortgage. Ricardo was only interested in making sure we bought a home that was right for our family. They worked with us and our difficult time schedule. The mortgage company was just as easy to work with - they were on top of everything from the beginning and submitting documents was incredibly easy. Start to finish the process was a dream!

Terrible builder

I have been in my house 4 months. The dishwasher, disposal and both thermostats had to be fixed or replaced. My roof has had to be fixed as well as my gutters. I think they are terrible builders, but they have fixed the items. Just seems it would be better if they did it right the first time instead of causing all the aggravation.

Lennar is a big company and will push you around if you let them. Don’t let them. Workmanship is ok, it’s goibg to depend on the contractors they hire. Just make sure you keep track of things and don’t let them get away with poor workmanship. Full disclosure: Our house was prebuilt so we didn’t get that chance and your mileage may vary.

We absolutely love our new house/home. We have had no major issues or concerns. The entire home buying process has been wonderful from day one all the way through move in day. Everyone along the way has been great. We highly recommend building with Lennar. Superb quality for a reasonable price.

The team was great before the purchase of my home . After I moved in I have had multiple issues which are not addressed in a timely fashion . The quality of the work is poor and after being in my home for 4 months still have issues.

Great home but not worth the price

Our home is beautiful, but for the price we paid, for a brand new home, there have been a lot of problems. Most of these are due to trying to put up too many homes so quickly and lack of attention to detail.

Sales Person and Warranty Rep were good and professional. Overall it was a mediocre to poor experience. I think Lennar's extremely inflexible polices along with their "anything to gouge out a buck" corporate greed mentality make it hard to rate it a good or great experience.

Dream home purchase became a nightmare...

Our dream home purchase was the worst purchase experience of our lives, thanks to Lennar's quite unimaginable levels of ineptitude. No commitment to quality whatsoever at any stage of construction. No apparent desire to stick to deadlines. I, the home owner, seemed to be in charge of quality control - if I didn't catch it no one did. No commitment from upper management to make things right. I pleaded for help so many times, and just failure after failure ensued. No one from management ever even called or reached out to apologize for the incompetence. That's what you get for an $850K ...

Low quality especially for the price

Where to start...cheap cabinets with very poor installation (lots of exposed raw wood, drawers that don't close properly) poorly installed island countertop, cracks in drywall and cement, major ant problem, refrigerator circuit breaker flipped twice in first few months, and what makes it even worse is that Lennar does not follow through on repair requests. I get the feeling they hope I'll get tired of asking and just give up.

Pay attention to detail

Completion date: remember the completion date is only an estimate of when the home will be available for occupancy. Home structure: make sure roof and plumbing do not have defects which could result in leaks. Finishing work: look for cracks in crown molding, drywall, paint on pavers and flooring etc.
