Could be better in customers benefit

Lennar service and all is great. In my opinion the upgrades should be different. Why no money back when not using tiles or carpet. Why not more freedom for upgrades for kitchen. Material use is cheap. Why not full flooring and then place kitchen island. Etc etc. should be a possibility to get discounted on kitchen and pick own kitchen and store. All is made simple for builder. But maybe I am spoiled with how things get done in the Netherlands.

The entire staff was wonderful. The only thing that I had a problem with was the Mortgage company. I was ask to present multiple documents multiple times by different agents.

No detail to attention or considerations on how things are built - poor quality overall, lots of mistakes and defects. If you are asking for trouble and stress for life, then work with Lennar

Add flexibility with more options for a higher rating

For some minor issues, the General Contractor has been extremely responsive and quick to resolve. There are options that should be offered to decrease the cost of adding after the home is built. The six design items we wish that could have been completed during the build. 1. Insulated garage 2. laundry room sink 3. return line for tankless hot water. 4 Gas line to back yard for barbecue 5. power line to back yard for hot tub 6. outdoor water faucet accessible from front side of house. We were very excited to have Lennar build our new home. However, we encountered many obstacles and were pretty much told deal with it or find another location to build. Warranty items take time to rectify. In the end, we have a beautiful new house that we hope to enjoy for years to come.

The workmanship of the home could be better. The home is settling really quickly, showing some work that could've been done better. There are no walk-out basements which was not disclosed and no porch or patio out back which also was not disclosed. There is water pouring outside the back of the home constantly and I don't know why. This "new" stuff is not all that great.

Poor customer service

I have completed the purchase of my home in the month of February. And every since March of 2019 I have been writing emails to leonarr about the tiles on my floor. No one has gotten back with me about resolving my issue very poor customer service on lennars behalf. Once you have completed the sale of your home if you have any issues they will not correct it they will not even get back in contact with you to try to resolve the issue.

Lennar - Poor quality craftsmanship on a lot of the interior features.

Poor quality craftsmanship on a lot of the interior features. The wood floor is a cheap quality and scratches or dents with no effort. Some of the cabinetry was poorly attached to begin with. We had a flood in our kitchen a month after moving in, because the dishwasher was improperly installed and now we need repairs to floor and cabinets. While we were well taken care of during the buying process by the sales team - we have been disenchanted with some of the response from Lennar's warranty and repair team. Thank God for a full year of warranty, because there's already a bunch of things ...

Horrible Communication and Promises not followed through

Communication and response time is horrible for any warranty work needed. We were promised several things from first warranty guy then he was switched to different property and new guy has no idea about anything. Wait time to get items addressed and taken care of is ridiculous. We have asked to speak with supervisor verbally, through text, and via emails. No response on that yet either.

Nice Bungalow to downsize too

The home we bought from Lennar is perfect for us to downsize into. The floor plan is perfect for empty nesters. Lennar did provide a lot of extras for the price of the house. For the most part Lennar has responded to issues we have. One area that we have been ignored on is the grading in the back of the house. I feel there is a low area that needs attention but have not been able to get them to respond even after sending pictures of ponding. Nail popping on the walls is not considered a warranty item. I do wish builders would use screws to install sheetrock inside the house to avoid ...

Very nice home the problem my family had was after they were done building they left a slope of dirt and an uneven backyard so we have to pay to get the whole backyard leveled they failed to say that we wouldn’t have a backyard and that it’s an additional $3,000 to level it that is the cheapest we have found. So just keep that in mind.
